This is happening when I create a new project from a custom skintone which I modified (so I guess it's a customized custom skintone). After I create a new project from the skintone (which works fine with my sims), after I load the project in the project screen, everything shows fine except the face texture which is missing (replaced by maxis default)! This is only happening for female adult sims, since this is the only skintone I editted. Also, when I looked under Projects in my EA game folder, the afface .bmp file is missing. But why, because the skintone is working fine on my female adult sims in CAS and BodyShop? Is it corrupted (which doesn't make sense or else my sims couldn't be using it) and how can I access it because I don't want to remake the facial texture again!

Thanks.

Did you just replace the face texture using BodyShop? If so did you make sure you used a 24 bit bitmap? Any other type of image file can screw up BodyShop projects.

In SimPE, take a look at the TXMT with "afface~face_txmt" in the name. Does it have the correct instance numbers for the texture you're using? You can see how to check that here (http://nene.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=284170).

How did you change the face texture? Did you simply replace it with BuildDXT or did you make a new resource by cloning? Did you change the instance numbers at all? I would recommend just using BuildDXT on an existing af face texture.
