Startup Thread

I am sure every one has seen the Start Up threads (Reticulating Splines), but I have been looking for a way to put in my own. Does anybody know how to do it, or can point me to a tutorial that tell you how.

You can customize the startup messages by editing UIText.package in Program Files\ EA Games\ The Sims 2 [Latest EP or SP name] \TSData\Res\Text, with SimPE. Look for "EPx - Startup Strings". Make sure to make a backup of UIText.package before trying this.
