BAK files

When I recolour my items, a BAK file is also saved.
What it is and what does it do?
When I open it with SIMpe, it looks like a usual file but the item doesn't show up in the game. :(

Just delete the BAK files. They are created by SimPE but not necessary in game.

Sounds like you need to update SimPE too. Newer versions only make bak files if you turn on auto-backups.

How do I turn off the auto back up?
