Sim is stuck in his own business lot

Hello!

I would love to keep SIM and PARCEL (both house and community)!!

My sim is stuck on his community lot he bought - I saved it after he LEFT *I clicked by mistake "send workers home" and I haven't hired anyone yet* leaving his car on the street.

He didn't got bakc home - over his home is grey-ish diamond and info that he's on another parcel *and if I would like to continue there*

On his community lot - there is only buy/build menu available, sim is not there.

I tried:
- summoning him to another family and marring one of them to make him live with other family
- buying this lot by another sim (not working -saying "someone else own it")
- summoning him, making selectable and trying to get to this parcel (I cannot - sign is in grey letters, I can go anywhere but there)
- summoning him, going to any other parcel and making him go home (he IS going home, I'm saving, yet it doesn't change a thing - still his home is with grey diamond and he's prison in his business lot)
- trying other family to move into his apartment (not working- sim has to be home to do it)
- destroying/putting into house "box" to place it again (not working - sims have to be moved out first)
- sending other sim to this lot - failed again, sign is grey in menu and "cannot visit lot because it has game saved there" or something like that...

Any help is needed :(

You've tried all the standard fixes. Have you patched all your games? There was a bug involving user cars on business lots that was fixed by the patch.

It's hard to believe that Inge's teleporter didn't work. That's the customary fix and has always worked for us in the past when this problem popped up.

What happened when you teleported him and moved him in elsewhere?
Be aware that the business lot is probably toast.

Well... I got him into a family and:
- cannot marry him/ask to live together (not sure how it is in English, but you know those options!) because he's on other parcel...
- trying to change his age (ouch! now I made him adult and CANNOT make him "independent teen" with insiminator because he's turning into normal teen)
- trying to kill him... (starving and on fire many times, all bars red and yet he suffered 4 days closed into little room before I gave up this method)
- tried to move him with the help of newspaper "find new home", I was able to move him into this "box" with homeless sims yet when I placed him into other home it was the same as in the beginning...

and yup, I have all patches needed

That happened to me too.....my sims drove to their owned lot and I mistakenly saved the game and went to the neightborhood screen before sending them back home...the next thing I know, I went back to the business lot and the live mode was disabled but all my sims were still there, frozen, unplayable.....

My game was patched too.....what the hack is going on here..???? Now both the residential AND community lot owned by that family could not be played......*cry*

You should be able to move him in using Inge's teleporter shrub (www.simlogical.com).

THANK YOU whiterider :up: , the problem is fixed by your suggestion, altho not without sacrifices..... :cry:

I did try to use the magic wand.....but it never showed up in my game...never mind..

To wampirencja, all I did was teleport one person of the family in trouble to a playable lot, move him in, had him sold the business, went back to neighborhood screen, bulldozed the business (yes, unfortunately, the business was toasted), went back to the family lot where some family members had been left behind and now enabled again for entry and everything was solved! (don't forget to summon the sim back and move him back in) At least I didn't have to nuke the whole neighborhood nor the home lot......

I found that quite a few people are/were having similar problem.....my learnt lesson is, do not save the game and exit when the sims are visiting their owned business or always have them back to the home lot before saving.....for my own game anyway... :rolleyes:
