View Full Version : Repository Techinique Problem

I'm creating a collection of doors and windowswith repository techinique, but the master object, a door, is craching the game, while the other slave objects work well. Can you see it for me please and try to fix?
The subset from where the slaves take theire texture is 'door'.

The first obvious problem is on the glass door. You have what looks like a glass kind of texture in a wallmask. (Look at last TXTR in the list.)
Unfortunately, I don't have time to look much further right now.
This isn't really a problem -- just an observation. Objects that take their recolors from 2 places are very confusing to the recolorer. The glass door would seem to be a better repository master, since it is a natural to hold both textures.
You could include the 'solid' door as part of the frame texture (unused in the glass door) or ... make the 'solid' a recolor of the glass door. Simply set blend mode to 'none' and make a few other adjustments to the TXMT so it better matches the frame.

I deleted the glass door and the game doesn't crash. None of your wallmasks are cutting holes. The Master door is not positioned correctly.
