If you could remove one element from the Sims 2 (from an EP or base game) what would it be. It must be a "remove", not an "add" or "change."

I'd remove some of the more... questionable outfits.. most of which game with the Base Game. It'd be very nice to save MBs by not having them in my game!

The outcome of the low aspiration points in the Family aspiration. The flour baby is slightly annoying :P

Many outfits. Especially those costume things which came with OFB. I would like to use that disk space they take for more usefull things.

I'm also not the biggest fan of Lifetime Aspiration bar which came with Freetime. I mean.... eventually all my favorite sims will have a Permaplatinum (because they live forever) and I happen to like the challenge which comes with fullfilling their wants... and I also like it when they go nuts XD. Makes the game more interesting. It do is a good idea to offer a chance for something like this without having to fullfill some ridiculous "have 10 babies" want or something but my main gripe is that this isn't optional. It will happen sooner or later.

the stupid colors some objects come in. do we really need a car with a weird fade/color combination? no, no we don't.

I think I would really remove just some of the recolours. I like the meshes, but the colour options on some are just too awful and some are too dark. And I would also remove all the hairs that have stupid things on them like construction hats and the 1000 recolours of the hairband on the ponytail hair. I mean does anyone actually care what colour that tiny hairband is?

Amen to that! The clothes for males in childhood I could live with but the female child clothes are fugly and ridiculous, what were they thinking when they made them? :wtf:

Some objects.
Some of the objects flat out do -not- match anything.

Like Thrior, it's the Lifetime Aspiration Bar. I absolutely hate having my Sims go Permaplat, it just ruins the challenge.

Plus the sexist child female clthing. I went through my childhood in trousers and non-pink clothing. Is it too much to ask that my Sims to the same?

Pain-in-the-butt wants like being struck by lightning and being saved from death.

I agree stupid wants are annoying. How often does one person need to get saved from death or have 10 kids??? I hate most of the hairs, the only ones are can tolerate are AL and Teen style stuff ones. Some weird clothes like that purple dress with babies on it. Seriously? WTF were EA on when they were making some of those clothes?
I agree with crocobaura, I hate the billions of recolours of hairs just so the hairbands are different. Also I hate all the child female and male clothes. The only ones I can stand are some free time and apartment life ones.

I once had a Romance sim grow up in to that dress, and by the time I realised the pattern she'd already had four kids. I thought the dress was okay until I noticed the pattern.

But yes, agreeing with removing the clothing. I can see some cases where Maxis has used the same mesh but done different clothes in different EPs, and the latter ones are so much better -- especially in the case of toddlers, they all tend to have the same style outfits. I should probably actually go and find some hiders for half the clothes.

I'd remove the Unsavory Charlatan from BV. It's one thing to have him show up on vacation lots - I'm OK with that. But the guy shows up everywhere. My Sims go to the gym? There he is. They go to the store to by some milk and eggs? There he is. Go to the local coffee grinder for an espresso? Bingo. Go to get a haircut? Yep. I mean, who goes to a hair salon to pick pockets?

I'd let them have a re-go at the stuff in the early EPs.. Or even the base game.
EAxis have changed [texture quality wise] and they could probabally do a MUCH better job with the Hairs and Cloths, and even the outfits and all the other stuff; like the Skins :)

Lol that annoys me too!
