Clothing Store

I read on another forum that you can create a clothing shop. They also said that you can dazzle your customers into buying the clothes that you want. Is this true, can I sell my custom content clothing to other sims? And does this store need to be on a community lot, or can it be a home businesses as well? Also, what items do I need to start this business?

It only works on community lots, as you can only sell clothes there. You have to convince a customer of buying clothes. when he/she goes to the till, a popup window appears and you can choose his/her outfit. The customer changes his/her outfit immediately

Very cool, do you think that it would be possible to make it a home business with the hack they have to have community lot items on home lots?

This is great, I can get sims to change their ugly clothes to ones that I choose without having to play each family.

Yes. There is a mod by Jaxad0127 (I Believe) over at Modthesims2, I think the server is down, so I'll have the links later, ASAP. Whichever Is Possible. With this mod you can run ANY business from your home. So If you wanted to run a below apartment restaurant you could, a clothing store, like your position you could. Basically anything you wanted with this dandy hack. I only say this, because BV made it Impossible to use collections by Loba and frillen. :shrug:
