I got a pet...where do i get a food dish to feed him?

Buy mode>misc>Pet icon (looks like a dog dish)...you'll find it there. :)

Just in case you are as ditzy as me, MAKE SURE YOU FILL IT, lmao. I spent 2 real life days trying to figure out why my pet was starving before I realized that I actually had to fill the bowl :rofl:

im worse...he is starving and i couldnt figure out how to feed him...called my friend who said get a pet dish...no later then 2 hours after i posted here did i remember the buy mode...stupid me

lol, I was continuously using the maxMotives cheat, which I hate doing, but I didn't want my puppy to die! :rofl:

There is another gotcha with one of the pets that comes with the EP (I think it was one of the two white dogs but may have been a different one).

You put out the bowl of food and the others are tucking in, but this one pet is starving and not eating. It died and I had to reload several times before I worked out that it is trained to only eat Sim food and won't eat pet food AT ALL, even when staving.

I had to put some plates of sim food on the floor then when it had eaten enough to stop it staving I scolded it for eating sim food. From then on although it preferred sim food it would eat pet food if there was nothing else.
