I was just wondering if its worth the money to buy, because all ive been seeing is people posting they having problems with the game and they didnt know think it would be as boring as it is and plenty more comments, so im wondering is it worth buying ?
EDIT: and im talking about season.

It depends on the person you know, and what they expected. I mean you will never have everyone happy with an EP.
I personally got exactly what I wanted, and I love it. I don't have any major problems with the game (knock on wood). Even the hacks almost all work, unlike Pets. I love the new weather effects, this is what I wanted since Sims 1 and for me, this is the best EP so far.
As I've said though, it is an individual thing, liking/disliking, so perhaps if you can pop over to someone who has it and take a look-see in order to decide?

Have you really seen a lot of people say it is boring? I haven't really seen anyone say that at all. I haven't had any glitches at all either with the installation or the gameplay. It's the best EP since NL and it is my favorite by far. With Seasons it seems to me that Maxis/EA actually listened to people's wants and complaints and made an EP that people wanted. Things like new careers and even new curtains (FINALLY :P ) make it seem that way to me. I've been playing most of the day for the past two days and I still haven't done everything that can be done in this EP. When I got Pets it didn't take long at all to exhaust everything that could be done and I got bored of it quite quickly, though I do like the actual pets a lot...I just wish there had been more to do. Well Seasons doesn't have that problem at all. There is TONS to do in this EP.

I would say definitely worth it.
Packs the most bang for your buck in terms of new stuff to do, the new objects are pretty shiny too & not to mention it's all bundled into a lovely whole - nothing seems left out or jarring. And its pretty, did I mention its pretty? And shiny too.
It also (most importantly) seems to have the fewest glitches out of any Expansion yet (touches wood). They took time and effort on this one and it shows!
I think that its fantastic. But if outdoor activities and Sims being limited, etc. by weather patterns doesn't appeal... maybe its not for you.

Sooo worth it! its an amazing EP. The furniture sets are really nice, the outerwear has alot of options for each age, the new hairs (four of them, three for female and on for male) are very nice and the weather is awesome! I'd recommend this EP above any of the other ones. :)

I'd say it's worth it!! Each seasons (depending on how you setup your neighborhoods) can benefit your sims in many different ways! So far, autumn has to be my favorite season - it's the absolute best time to learn skills! Winter is pretty, but it's not my favorite. I have yet to experience summer or spring yet (I hear, spring is a good time to make romance~~ *glee~* )...
So far - I have yet to experience any sort of glitches that are maxis-related :)

Reading bads and goods from others can help see more things to decide if some of them are what I'm concerned and what I want. N if these concerned sound good enough to me, that will motivate me to buy it. If not, the opposite.
Thanks for those who have given in your opinions... :anime:

Personally, I'm enjoying it a lot. I strive for game realism, and changing weather with associated activities does bring a whole new level of realism. I love the changes in lighting from day to day sometimes more than once a day, as well as the color of the sky, and of course rain, snow etc. One time I was downtown buying clothes on a clear summer evening and all of a sudden it got dark and it showered briefly. I like this sort of unexpected things.
I haven't even tried gardening yet; been too busy experiencing the seasons, and I've yet to play spring. I love the new games and interractions, especially the "Give gift" option. It's cute and useful; for example one of my teenage girls wanted an Ipod; instead of taking her to a shop to buy it, I had her mom (who had a want to Give a Gift) buy it and give it to her.
The skating rinks = win.
If you like playing with maxis families, there's a whole new neighbourhood for that.

I'm enjoying this EP so much. I have all of the EP's and SP's. This one is so far. My favorite! :) I haven't had any bugs or glitches. They've really done a great job on this one.

Seasons is definitely worth it. It's the best EP so far in my opinion, and it adds so much realism to the game. I've have a few minor glitches here and there, but I don't care ;3

I 100% agree with Ghanima. I strive for game realism too, and I have loved this EP! It adds so much stuff to just make things seem more normal and add more unexpected environmental stuff. And if you take your hacks out, this is one of the least buggy expansions I can ever remember, including all the sims1 packs. I rarely got to actually play smoothly in the first week or so of buying a pack and with this one I was playing on night 1.

I'm really enjoying this one so far.. I've only experienced winter but its pretty exciting finding out all the new things you can do. I'm hating tomatoes... typically the only thing my sim can grow with no gardening badges and they don't like being snowed on!
The penguin is super-cute but he only seems to like to talk with my snowmen about law and canned drinks!

ROFL! That's funny!
Ahem..anyhoo...
Personally, I have to say YES it's worth it! I really like it. I love having seasons and I love that the game is now a little more "real" now.
Initially, I had a problem with custom content, but that was easily fixed.
Of course there are still things that aren't quite perfect yet, and things you won't like, but overall I definitely think it enhances the game a lot..maybe more than any of the previous EPs

I've only had this for two days and I can't imagine ever going back. Seasons is completely necessary. Where are all these people who think it is boring?
(oh, and btw, this EP is wonderful. It might beat Nightlife for me, which is a pretty big feat. I haven't decided yet.)

Best EP ever in my opinion. None of the others have changed gameplay so much for me as this one.
