How to change outwear

Is it possible to buy new outwear since I can't seem to change the outwear. Someone, help me!

Yup. Go to the store and buy some new outerwear. :) Or, use Numenors hacked coat rack to get it free.

Yeah, that's what I did. I bough some raincoats in the everyday section thinking that the it would appear in the outwear section too. But no, nothing happened.

Try using a Maxis dresser. If you are using an un-updated custom dresser, the Outerwear option might not show up.

Yup Or coatrack. BUT: Note that sims won't change into outerwear if it's not cold enough out. ;)
