View Full Version : What happens to beach lots in the winter?

I'm planning to start a custom hood with a map that has a few beach lots. I'm also planning to have all the seasons in that hood and I'm wondering how the beach and the snow will work together. Does anyone have any pictures or a good description of what will happen? Surely EA thought of this and has something worked out...right?
I have all EPs.

Beach lots behave just like normal lots in the winter, snow and everything. If you don't want the winter season while playing your beach lot, you can always edit the seasons from the neighborhood view before you enter the lot.

Wonderful, that's just what I had hoped for. Thank you for the quick response.
One more quick question. Does the water freeze like the ponds do?

I dont believe the water freezes but sims Dont like swimming in water when it's cold out! They get out freezing! Great for cooling them off during summer though! Hoped that helped.
