Unsavory charlatan missing after patch

Since I installed the BV patch, the unsavory charlatan never appears on my vacations lot. Has this happened to anyone else? I really miss him, he is my favorite NPC.

I had the MATY fix, but I removed it before I installed Maxis BV patch.
I tried to invite him with a hacked phone (Christianlovs I think), and I noticed there was one but he was missing the monocel and beard.

Have you the MATY fix also? That one didn't let the charlatan appear. My charlatan, on the other hand, is missing the monocle and moustaches.

Mine does too, crocobaura. There are actually 3 charlatans though, I wonder if they look different? I need to check.

I see him very rarely though, compared to almost every time I went out before :P

That's because a new Unsavory Charlatan was created when you visited a community lot before the patch, hence the Unsavory Charlatan's seldom appearances. Remove the Anti-Redundancy fix by J.M Pescado if you downloaded it before. It may conflict with the patch.

sorry for asking, is the unsavarory chalaton only able to appear on vacation lots? i saw him on a community lot in uni just now.. :(

He can appear on any community lot so no worries :)

Thats hilarious. He's on a uni lot. Wanna know why? Because EAXis decided to put something from Every expansion pack on this (except Seasons, or did they? I think they did put the seasons in this one anyway that's not important) If you notice that most of uni was cloned from this... The "vacation" lots, and the "Secret" lots, and the door's act sort of made like Myne doors. So it's possible that he is being seen because of it. :shrug:

O.O so Chartalans can appear on any community lot? Strange. I never knew that, and never seen him anywhere else except on vacation.
