I saw a similar thread on another forum and loved reading those stories. So here we go.
This day I spent with the Acosta family.
Terhi and Hairo were living in Huvikumpu with their twins Anita and Annabell. The girls turned into teens and I had them find their own place.
Anita was the first to find her own place, with a bit over 800 simolean in her account, she bought a 1x2 land for 300 simoleans. Then sold the land to John Ross Ewing - so she can get some money to buy a toilet. With the money she had - she was able to build a 3x3 square room, with a bed and a sink, and a toilet behind the house. As a knowlage sim she's suppose to do all kinds of knowlage things, but Anita dreams of becomin a jazz musician. She's an A+ student and is currently working in the local nurisng home, she would have loved to continue working in the music store, but a girl needs more than a bed and a toilet, so she cannot really afford to have days off from work, so she keeps changing jobs to avoid days off. The house is now 4x3 - she has a door but no windows - wooden floor but no tapestry. After a week of washing hands to keep her hygene up, she finally got enough monney to buy a tub. Both tub and toilet are still outside behind the house. Anita's income is not big, but neither are her expenses, she's still getting student discount for the rent and thus only has to pay 25 simoleans a week, but that will go to 500 when she turns into an adult. To get some experience in the music industry, Anita started her own business. It's basically her rapping on her lawn in the hopes for a few tips. Second day of business, her mom came to visit and immediately started poking, slapping, and shuving one guy untill they had a fight. When that was done, she started it all over again, and they had another fight. After winning this one she started poking some female customer. Thanks to mom, 3 customers have negative customer loyalty, and one of these is the mother herself. Way to go mom :handbag:
I love the house the Acosta's were living in but it's a tiny bit too big - it doesn't lag or anything, but I just like them smaller. So - with the girls gone, and no need for so much space, it was time for the Acosta's to move out.
They moved to a small plasticbox city house - did just the tinyest of renovation and the house is now perfect for them. Terhi continued working as a highschool teacher - and Hairo who had stayed home to take care of their four kids while his wife pursued her career, decided it was time he went back to working life and got a job as an army recruit. So they lived this happy middle class life. They went to work during the day, and in the evening had their children (Luna and her husband and Anita) come and visit. Even thou Terhi would have preferred for Anita to pursuit some knowlage carreer - Hairo was happy Anita had found her calling. So to help her out he bought her a guitar. Hairo passed away two days after this, while his wife was just walking across the room to give him a kiss. He was 71.
Terhi inherited 10 000 simoleans, and the girls a bit over 4000 each. This monney is going to help the teens alot, Anita can finally have an indoor toilet. Annabell on the other hand is still in the family bin, she's an D student and has no intention of fixing it - so the monney she inherited has to last her untill she turns into an adult.
I stopped playing after Hairo died - as I have no idea what to do with Terhi. Work home - work home - is a very boring way of life. I wish I had BV - so she could start traveling. It's still over a month before it come on macs, but with the speed I play - she might end traveling after all.
Ok people -that's it for me for the day - whats happeing in your games right now?

At the moment I have been playing the Lunsford family:
Basically the guy Matt is an immature jock type who'se fiance Persephone Schwarzenberg broke up with after catching him in bed with a teenage girl. Matt was a little dissapointed because having a dutch vampire fiance was cool and he only hooked up with teen Erika Phillips because he fancied her older sister Alexsis. Alexsis is a lesbian though so he had no chance with her.
Things seemed ok till Erika and Alexsis's mother Maire showed up extremely annoyed that he had knocked up her youngest daughter and demanded that the two get married now to make sure he won't run off and abandon Erika with a baby. So reluctantly he married the immature for her age Erika in a small back-garden wedding.
The baby was a girl who Erika named Britney after Britney Spears, and Matt now had to give up his bachelour life to change nappies. Poor Persephone also discovered she was pregnant after breaking up with Matt (which was a total shock to me too :p inteen can surprise you) but due to the stress of it all she miscarried. Matt soon became infatuated with the hot young Swedish nanny Karin (three bolts of chemistry and everything) and spent all his time giving her generous tips. He also has a rather kinky affair going on with Kaylynn the maid (It's a custom hood so it has the Pleasentview townies and NPCs by default).
Erika is getting stressed with being married with a baby now as she is only 16. Britney grew up into a toddler and Erika decided to go clubbing at Persephone's night club with her best friend Lambrini Chav. Erika then met Abejjiet Delpwhatevercan'tspellhisnamebutthattownieguy on the dancefloor and snuck off with him to the bathroom..*ahem*. After that Erika was caught by Persephone who went mad at having that homewrecker in her club and kicked her out.
That thing with Abejiiet Whateverhisnameis resulted in Erika getting pregnant yet again (she's very dumb), and she had another daughter called Shakira. Erika let Matt believe that the baby was his. Shakira didn't live very long as she was born with the dreaded "Maxis-skin-despite-having-default-replacements syndrome" (minor glitch in my game). After she died, Erika moved her urn into Britney's room so her kids could still sleep in the same room together.
Just before I left the game I had Matt discover that Erika had a one night stand with Abehjiiet and go mad (because he's a hypocrite). Now he's even more determined to get it on with Karin, poor Karin is totally oblivious to it all though.
Abejheiit is now getting it on with Lambrini instead.

Today I was playing the Ronalds family.
I had just moved them into their brand new modular home. It has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a dining room, a kitchen, and a living room. They have a lovely garden where they grow vegetables and fruits. They also added a nice pond in the backyard so they can go fishing. After they had their first child, Camile Ronalds, Jacklynn and Alexander Ronalds decided to add a sunroom to the backyard. They covered the patio with a glass roof and put glass walls around it and now they spend a lot of time there relaxing and reading in the warm sun. Right now Jacklynn Ronalds is on Maternity Leave because she is expecting her second child, which I am hoping is a girl. If it is a girl, it's name will be Desiree, and if it's a boy, it's name will be Scott. I am also planning on sending the family on a Far East Vacation as soon as the kids are old enough to come along with the parents on the trip.

I spent a few hours with the Mancuso family.
Nothing dreadfully exciting, elder wife Marisa has had her two oldest sons (Jacob and Liam) move out of home to University, and is awaiting her teen daughter (Amelie) doing the same. Amelie has only 2 years to go until she is eligable (I make teens wait until 5 days before adulthood), and wants to call her brothers everyday to check up on the latest gossip! ;)
Meantime, both Jacob and Liam have live-in girlfriends, which their parents approve of. In fact, Anthony (father) is two-bolt keen on Jacob's girlfriend, though he keeps it a secret!! Liam and his girlfriend are going through a rough patch at the moment, after one of his Professors flirted with him in front of his love (they had never met before). Ivy (the girlfriend) is prone to fits of sobbing, worried that her feelings may be hurt again.

Right now:
After Edie Rhodes moved to college with her friends, her younger sister Aubrey became a teen. While Aubrey's mother Marianna focused most of her time on hanging out with her best friend Kamaria Billings, and trying to make up for running out on her premature wedding to Corey Pearson, Aubrey began to bond with the neighborhood teens. She became best friends with the Johnston twins, Brynn and Cadence, as well as Jenna Barnett, whose older sister Katherine is the best friend of Edie. Aubrey also has a new boyfriend in Justin Black, son of Sarah Black and Torrey Lange. Through Justin, she met his cousin Johnny (son of Marcus Black and Lucy Burb), his neighbor Sean Simpkins, and his best friend Robyn Carnell (whose big sister is yet another friend and roommate of Edie's). Aubrey and Robyn are not friends, and Aubs is not pleased with the time Justin spends with Robyn. An emotional rant to Sean turns into a makeout session, which Justin sees. Heartbroken, Justin invites Robyn over and surprises her with a kiss.
Meanwhile, Marianna Rhodes is still living uncomfortably under the same roof with former fiance' Corey, trying to patch things up. Little does she know, Corey has a growing attraction to Kamaria.
Down the street Marcus Black finds out shocking news about his wife Lucy Burb. Lucy is much younger, in fact Lucy grew up with his daughter Sarah. They lived together during college. Since marrying Lucy, Marcus has seen his daughter grow distant. Whenever he comes to visit his grandsons Justin and Kingston, Sarah barely says two words. He has just discovered that Lucy and Sarah's bond was not sisterly...they were in love! But who is Marcus to judge...the only reason he went after Lucy was because he couldn't have her mother Jennifer!
Sarah Black lives alone with her two sons while their father Torrey finishes up his last semester of college. Only problem is, Sarah's been engaged to Torrey's roommate the whole time. Which one will she choose? And is she truly over Lucy?
My sims have drama. Blame the soap operas I was forced to watch as a kid, lol.

This is why I hate twins, I keep messing up with their names. The teen I kept calling Anita in my first post was actually Annabell, and the one I played with today was Anita.
Today was strictly a Anita Acosta day. Conterery to her sister Annabell - Anita wants everything right now. Instead of working on her grades to get a job and survive with that - she took a loan from John Ross Ewing with an intrest rate of 9%. With the money she got from the loan and her inheritance she rented a small house - went on a shopping spree - bought a car - tv - stereo, bar - everything and anything she thought of. Her rent is not that big yet, 170 simoleans a month, but when the student discounts runs out - it's 500 simoleans baby + the loan. But all that is in the distant future - at the moment the only thing Anita cares about are her parties and friends. She started out with a net worth of 20 900 but is currently at about 17 000. She still has a good 10 days before becoming an adult. She's now down to her last 500 simoleans - she should be fine - as there's always furniture to sell if things get tough. She dreams of becoming a star - so when ever she becomes an adult and counterfeits one collage diploma - we can start waiting for the entertainment career to pop up.

Been playing the Goth legacy today. Carla and Tyler (married elders, Carla is generation 1) bought a cabin in Three Lakes and took a trip out. Tyler found the map to the Hidden Burrow, so they go along and try to befriend Bigfoot. All is going well until Carla influences Bigfoot to hug Tyler. Tyler hates his Bigfoot hug and his relationship with Bigfoot goes down. So, I get Tyler to influence Bigfoot to hug Carla, and unfortunately it's not a Bigfoot hug but a romantic hug, for reasons unknown as their relationship isn't even up to friends yet. So Tyler sees the hug, gets the memory of Carla cheating, and then slaps her. She aplologises, goes to hug Tyler, and Bigfoot thinks she's cheating on him, more slaps, and now everyone is furious with everyone else. Tyler and Carla end the vacation early so I can fix it all on the home lot with the L+D tombstone, but just after they arrive home, ...Tyler dies of old age!

Today I've build Khia Modelling Agency building and started to decorate it. It has one living room/waiting room, one office for the manager, one meeting room and one photostudio. I've only finished decoratig the office and the waiting room. I just have to add some pictures on the wall in the waiting room and then I'm going to decorate the meeting room and the photostudio. After that, I will start landscaping. I'm thinking to make a pond and a bridge that will work as a runway. Because on this lot the motives will be 100% all the time, I don`t need a bathroom, but for the sake of realism I will build one. After I finish decorating, I'm moving the manager there and take photos. :)

The DeBarbarak family had a lovely Christmas vacation to Three Lakes today. BriAnna, her kids Audrey and Gabriel and her hunky neighbor/lovah did normal Christmassy things; baked cookies, exchanged gifts, did a little axe-throwing... if you have a family like mine, you'll agree that that particular activity should be mandatory in real life holidays, too. ;)
I also did a little bit of a photo-shoot for a family-album I’m putting together for BriAnna. She started life in TS1, so it was fun to age her down and play a bit with her as a toddler, child, etc.

I'm playing my first ever legacy-type family. Actually it's not even a real legacy, as I made a CAS couple as opposed to a single adult Sim. I made them because I needed a set of parents for townie child Elizabeth Go. Since I'd just downloaded Enayla's Asian skintones I wanted to try out making some Chinese Sims, and I figured I could make them her adoptive parents. So I made Mei Li and Aaron Go (dunno if those names are Chinese or not, and I don't really care). Then I made Randy and Trisha Donaldson, who looked a lot like Elizabeth. With Insim I made the last two Elizabeth's parents, aged her down to toddler, then I killed them both off, and the social worker came to pick up Elizabeth. I went to the Go house (one of the little ones near the Brokes) and was gonna furnish it nicely and everything, but then on a whim I decided to do it cheatless, and they had a very scarcely decorated home. I gave them both jobs, and I didn't use any cheats or anything to keep 'em happy, and it was SO MUCH FUN. Everytime one of them got home and brought money with them, I was like "OMGYAY NOW I CAN BUY CURTAINS!!" So they eventually finally had a nicely decorated house and good jobs, it was time to call the adoption service and adopt Elizabeth. But then I fell too much in love with the idea of tiny little Chinese toddler, so I let them try for baby and I figured I could let the baby, once it's grown up, adopt Elizabeth. And then I checked Mei Li's pregnancy status with Insim and discovered she was going to have twins! I can't wait for two adorable Chinese tots.

Continuing to fill up the neighborhood population slowly but steadily. I'm up to thirteen sims now in five different households. Not much considering I had over thirty families this time last year, but I'm working on it. Right now, I'm getting ready to decorate Josh Hudson's new house, and shortly thereafter will hook him up with his wife-to-be and start a family.

Right now i'm playing Trenice Sanchez's house. She's renting a small 2 bedroom house, she has a set of boy/girl twins, and she aspires to be the law. She's struggling right now though. I think she's making about 500 when she goes to work. Can't remember though, but it's something low like that. But she has a ton of overhead. Her rent is 3,000 simoleans a week (monique's automatic payment mod), and her bills are about 2,000 a week (squinge's increased bills x10 mod). She get's 1,400 a week in child support, but that doesn't go too far. She'd like to get her kids into private school, which costs 5,000 simoleans per child, not to mention the fees everyday, but I don't think that's gonna happen. If she can't pay her rent this week, then she's getting evicted. Would hate to see her move into a less than desirable area. :devil2:

I never realised how much work it is creating a nieghbourhood, with the making familys, downloading and decorating all the house's, decorating the actual neighbourhood, creating a Uni (Halliedale High), and for that i have to download dorms and decorate them all lol. So much to do so little time!

Right now I'm playing with Balfour LaCroix.
After being divorced by his cheating wife of many years and losing all of his money, Balfour moved into a small four-room home on the outskirts of town. Quitting his job after several years, he started to seclude himself from the rest of the neighborhood, including his family members. He spends the day building robots and writing news articles for the Sim City Times to make enough money to finish remodeling his house and to make end's meets.
Meanwhile, his friends and family are beginning to worry about him. He has severed nearly all contact with everyone, including his parents, children, and best friends. They try calling several times a day, but he almost never answers the phone. Yesterday, for the first time in a long time, he went out to a public place out of sheer loneliness, only to be assaulted by one of the ladies he tried to talk with. I don't think he'll ever do that again.

Derange - your guy seems interesting.
Broke:
After Bob II and his fiance Tara moved in with Brandi - the Pleasentview city counsel decided to rezone the city which led to many houses being demolished. The Broke's had to move out so they rented a house from John Ross Ewing in one of the city's workign class areas - with a weekly rent of 3000. As there never was that much space in any of the houses for three cats and three adults - the Broke's decided to give the two adult cats to Beau - while they kept the kitten. Bob II continued working in the police force - and was recently promoted to vise. After the dust had settled from all the moving, promoting and cat giving - Bob II and Tara decided it was finally time to get married. They said their woes in the local ministry on Bob's day off. The ceremony was small and short - because somebody forgot to invite Beau :/
With Bob and Tara now married - Brandi decided to leave the newlyweds and she moved to a super tiny cottage so she can spend her time working on the garden, practicing yoga and waiting for grandkids. Most likely she is going to take a loan from mister Ewing so she could adopt one of those adult dogs that Cassandra gave up for adoption. Her rent is not yet decided, but most likely will be in the 300 simolean department, her pention is 155 simolean, she has less than 100 simoleans on her account and she just checked she needs about 2000 simoleans to adopt the dog.
Dustin finally moved out of the family bin. He bought a nice little house - that was almost perfect. Only the second floor he had to completely renovate so he could get more space for his study and the attic. The attic he filled with his toys, his chains and his weapons. After the house was done - it was time to play. He grabbed the phone and started to look through his phonebook. He found one guy who's name I cant remember - but he was a thief - so he was a good candidate for a random killing. After inviting the guy over - the guy asked can he bring a friend. Dustin was more than thrilled to oblige. He could kill the guy now - leave the friend for later. Unfortunately the friend turned out to be Cassandra. Dustin send her home and invited the guy over. Now the fun part. Dustin lured the guy to the attic - then locked the door behind them. Unfortunately just at that moment - both the maid and the welcome wagon decided pay a visit. As an artist Dustin needs his privacy. So he leaves the guy in the attic and goes to get rid of all those people. When the house is finally empty of uninvited people - Dustin rushes to the attic - only to find that locked doors don't keep thieves in rooms and the guy was heading home. Disappointed by this turn of events - but determined to get his fix as he had not killed anybody in months - Dustin grabbed the phone and invites the guy over again. After some technical difficulties with his newest toy - a sword - Dustin decided to do it the old fashion way and shot him. The guy's urn is now safely in Dustin's inventory - among the rest of his victims. I left Dusting relaxing on his bed after his work was done - pondering should he kill his maid Remington - or leave him in the gene pool.
Acosta:
Annabell's life really turned around with the guitar she got from her father. Not only was she getting tipped better (max so far has been 150 simoleans) but she also was getting her fun up and increasing her creativity points. Annabell tried performing outside her house but with quite a bad outcome. She chose the worst spot possible - a busy shopping street in the most rundown community districts in pleasentview - near a very busy restaurant. None of the bye-passers gave her a tip - not even her own mother. So she's back to performing on her front yard until the pleasentview central park has been built. With the money Annabell inherited from her father - she finally was able to renovate her apartment. It's now a studio with a tiny bathroom. The left over money she spend on some furniture and a car. She decided it's cheaper to have the car if she intends to start going more often to the city to perform. Annabell has been doing quite well actually - at one point he grades slipped to B because all that performing and working deprived her social meter until she ended up having three undone homeworks and no motivation to do them. That is now fixed, she's back to A+.

I finally got my living of the land woman setled down. I'v been wanting to do this for quite some time now but it took me for ever to figure out who is going to be the lucky sim to have the honers. Well - meet Arwin Miller - either this one
http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=235753
or this one
http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=216696
Can't remember which one i downloaded - but I'm almost certain it's the second one.
Miller comes from Frank Miller - i was planning to have Marv as my living of the land man - but
1) I downloaded two Marvs but didn't like either of them enough
2) I wasn't able to come up with a deacent last name - Marv Miller is ewh :X
The logical thing would have to create a couple - but I'd rather not handpic a mate for my sims before I see what's out there. Anyhow - this is what happened.
Arwin moved into a small farm house she inherited from a distant relative. The estate - which is called "The Elrond Estate" - was not much to look at. It consisted of the main house and a small shed in the front of the house. With the money she still had she furnished the house and turned the shed into a bakery. She also planned her farm land - and has now three stripes of land - with seven plots on each stripe. As it was the last day of summer - Arwin decided to try to get at least one harvest of tomatoes before winter sets in. She would have planted the whole 21 plots but was kind of running out of money so she only got seven planted. To avoid going completely mad in her isolation - Arwin decided to adopt a dog - Sarah something. She's the second of the adult dogs that Cassandra gave away. Because Arwin was out of money - she took a 2000 simolean loan from mister Ewing to be able to pay for the dog. Unfortunately somebody set up the payments wrong and the next day 1000 simoleans were added to her bills as she didn't have that kind of money to pay. She tried postponding the payments untill the very last - just in case she would be able to get the money - but with only 400 simoleans and one day to come up with 600 more - she was forced to take out another loan of 1000 simoleans to be able to pay the first loan's payment.
The biggest problem with the dog was that it wouldn't eat petfood. So Arwin made some sim food and set it on the ground - and when the dog would eat it she wouls scold her for eating the food. She also bought some flowers in case she wouldn't have time to prepare meals for the dog. At least this way the dog could feed herself. Sarah is still not fully trained in the eating department - but at least she will eat pet food when she's hungry.
Arwin's business is doing well - it's still a gelatin shop instead of a bakery as our lovely lady has not yet figured out how to bake stuff. She is now allegible for one business perk - but I decided she will have none of those - just in case it will make life easier. She is allowed thou to do normal sales with the customers and if she learns fro that - she can use her skills.
Living of the land is quite challenging with one sim, a dog and a business. Arwin's days start at six in the morning and last till three in the morning. The only thing that's keeping her awake is the coffee she keeps drinking. Next summer - when she'll have more crops to take care off - she's not going to operate the shop at the same time - she barely has the time to operate it with only seven plants to take care of. When I left Arwin - her plants were alive but not that good as she didn't fertilize them in the beginning - as only compost is allowed and she didn't have any when she started out. She has the ladybugs but still some plants need spraying - but as this is an organic farm - that's also out of the question. There's still two day's left before winter comes - I really hope her tomatoes grow up in time.

Pascal Curious' son is in college- he and his adopted brother live in a Greek house (omg it took forever to find them, but I finally did on another campus- weird). So I've been in the process of putting them through college. Sunne (the alien child) is a history major while Alec (his brother) is still undeclared.
I never make Alec do anything, I just let him have total free will- and he's passing every semester with a C average. Which is odd cause he never does homework or anything, and is undeclared. He just has waterbaloon fights all the time, hehe.
Last night I had my first toga party- it was pretty fun. Lots of drinking, hehe.
That's basically it- pretty boring right now.

I deleted the base neighbourhoods but retrieved them (sadly without my sims) but here's my Sim Story;
Kali Doohickey was a CAS Sim, along with her two CAS daughters, Angela Kate and Some-Sim-My-Sister-Made-Who's-Name-I-Can't-Remember. Let's just call her daughter 2. Kali was on the politics track, even though she was a Family sim. Her LTW was reach Golden Anniversary. Sadly, that did not happen. Kali got married, though, to a downtownie called Elmer *can't remember his last name* He makes surprisingly HOT babies. Take into consideration, Kali was really, really hot.
Angela Kate grew up into a gorgeous adult, whereas Daughter 2 was shipped off to college with Alvin Futa. And was left to rot in college for all eternity, living in Spares Land. Angela Kate got acquainted with one of Elmer's friends who would turn out to be her eventual husband. Fugly lil' dude. Their baby was fugly, too. I gave him surgery, of course.
Kali was pregnant with Elmer's baby, she was called Sallie. Sallie grew up into a gorgeous woman, having babies with a GORGEOUS townie named Colby Riley. Of course they had GORGEOUS babies, but they were all mean except for 2 babies (out of 6!). So I boolpropped 4 of their butts to be NICE.
Their first daughter, Cynthia fulfilled her LTW to Max Out 7 Skills. So I shipped her off to college, where she dropped out because - honestly, who goes through college in my game? A rarity, that one.
But she hooked up with a hunky professor - ironically she only had 2 kids of her own, the other 3 of them were adopted. The 2 girls she adopted were carbon copies, except that one of them had black hair, and the other red hair. The adopted boy was MEAN! But the naturally-born boy was nice and neat. His naturally-born sister was mean as hell, and sloppy! The boy and the 2 adopted girls were shipped off to college afterwards.
Yepp, Kali NEVER grew up, so I had 4 generations of adults!
Pretty boring, my story, but I like waxing nostalgic.

well in the lovely town of river blossom hills greeted some new arrivals last night, Coast Portier and his dog Gage as well as his best friend annie and her dog daisy (both a new breed called giant zephers, basically tweaked grey hounds). they were awfully close before both living and working together as game testers, but Coast finally got up the gumption to ask Annie out and they have fallen in love...sigh,how romantic. they are expecting the pitter patter of little feet any day now...since daisy is pregnant with her first litter! :P
i'm simply in love with this new family and apparently Sims do more autonomsly than i thought since Coast proposed to Annie while i was busy keeping an eye on the dogs. scared the crap outta me when it went into a cut scene all of a sudden..lol

I do in fact...i thought they only do things like that once they have been directed to do it before..like they will randomly kiss thier spouse once they had already kissed once. never thought about the fact that my game is hacked/modded 6 ways to sunday..LOL
ETA: Annie and Coast got married! they are expecting thier first baby soon and daisy gave birth to 3 pups, 2 boys and a girl: Zap,Link and Pippa...although they quickly gave up pippa and link once they learned that puppies are hard work for a two-income family in a small cottage. yay for births! i'd still be playing but while converting Annies old bedroom into a nursery i was greeted by the most infamous of all game problems (all computer problems to be honest) the dreaded Blue screen of death....le sigh...oh well to quote scarlet "tomorrows another day"!

Miller:
Arwin got her tomatos just in time. Her fridge was completely empty in the beginning of the last day of autumn - so I had to let her sacrifice one gelatin for personal use. The tomatos grew on her second serving of gelating. I wanted to see how long can she survive with her 84 tomatoes, best case scenario she could survive untill the next harvest. Unfortunately her 900 simolean fridge didn't have a stock option so I had to buy her a new one - and thus my 84 tomato experiment was ruined. On the bright side - at least now she can continue working in in her bakery during the winter. If the 84 tomatoe experiment would have succeeded - I would have let her sell what ever she shad in her inventory - but not make any new products untill the new harvest. She is now finally skilled enough to do some serious baking - when the crep suzettes run out - my woman is making pie.
Broke:
Brandi finished up renovating her cottage. She took a 2000 simolean loan from mister Erwing but the dog we wanted was a bit over 2000 so we took another one - a small pudell who had been rescuded from a animal testing facilitie. Brandi is now building a relationship with her new pet. Brandi also joined the gardening club - and is currently growing tomatoes.
Geake:
Chester Gieke loves his job but still managed to miss work on friday. He's currently working as a hacker - it doesnt pay much but he's happy. Chester spends most of his time programming and playing his retro games. Luna on the other hand is not happy with her job, she's currently working as a project manager in the sience field but wants to do something different.
As you can see nothing that interesting is happening in my game right now. Then again - how could anything happen when I only have time/energy to play 1-1.5 hours a day. Cant wait for the weekend so I can do some serious playing.

Timberland:
Cassandra and Timothy got their one and only biological child and called her Apple. She grew up to toddler just a few days ago. She got her dad's eyes, haircolour and custom skin - she also seemed to have inherited his five o'clock shadow - but without the hair. Hopefully she will grow out of it eventually. Anyhow it cant' really be worst than the shiny skin of the Acosta girls.
A set of new rules have been set for the Timberlands. As I'm trying to get rid of money from no-where - the Timberlands are no longer allowed to sell their products straight after harvesting - but instead have to physically sell them (Cassandra has also stopped selling paintings - but will from now on hang them or give them as gifts). So just as almost all the sims in pleasentview - they as well took a 3000 simolean loan from mister Ewing so they could build a small shop to sell their harvest. As growing things in the greenhouse is just too easy - that has to go too. The money that comes from demolishing the greenhouse will be used to buy something that will be added to Angel's inventory - so when he moves out - he doesnt have to move out empty handed.
Even thou the Timberlands don't have to pay rent because they own the property the farm is on - they do have to pay a weekly fee of 500 simoleans as extra loan expenses - for as long as they have some of the loan left. So far they are the only family that has actually payed back some of the loan - from the 3000 they took - they only have 2000 left.
Age updates:
Angel will grow up to a teen tomorrow.
Cassanra has about 5 days left to become an elderly.
Timothy got fat but we fixed that - he's five days younger than Cassandra - so he stil has some days to go - (actually Cassandra was over ten days older - but I let her drink - what in Pleasentview is called - "mommy's medicine" to shorten the age gap).
Apple has three days left to become a child.
OMG has one or two before becoming an elderly :(

My favorite family the Anthony Family(Custom Family) moved into their new home finally, and nothing too much exciting. Well then their daughter befriended the neighborhood teen hunk. they fell madly in love and sadly his WHOLE family burned in a fire. :D so he moved in with the Anthony's. NOW she is pregnant, VERY actually and they got married yesterday. Mind you these are teens. but they are very happy together.

ok, here's my little update on the Curious family.
Pascal had met and married a native of Twikii Island. Pascal's alien son and their adopted son went off to college together and are now out of college. Sunne (alien son) built a nice big house and moved his parents in with him. Alec (adopted son) married and moved in with one of his frat brothers.
Sunne married a girl he knew in college and she quickly became pregnant with his baby.
Well this was a really hard pregnancy and her hunger was declining faster than I've ever seen a pregnant sims' hunger decline. She died of starvation (she actually sat down to eat and died). Now her pregnant ghost wanders around (pretty creepy).
So a few days later Pascal, Cara (his wife) and Sunne were all eating lunch together when Sunne threw some food at Cara. Well that must be the secret language of love because they fell in love right there at the table.
After lunch Sunne made his move and kissed Cara (the woman who taught him to walk and talk....). That didn't go too well with Pascal and slapped her silly.
But that didn't stop Sunne and Cara- she's now pregnant with Sunne's baby.

Nothing much - for the exception of 1.5 hours yesterday - I haven't touched my game this week - stupid real life :handbag:
Anyhow - I played with Anita yesterday. It started with a party she was having since last play. She ended up woohooing with Goopie. The next morning I left her in her underwear eating cereal while I went to take a shower - when I came back - it was already eight in the evening - she was fully clothed, the dishes were done and she was reading the newspaper - I'm so proud of her. Only her social meter was down as she lives alone. Anita seems to have a bit of a drinking problem - if you leave her alone - she'll go to drink. Excellent poverty material. To raise her social meter she invited Goopie over. She goes to greet him and starts kissing and flirting like crazy. I turn my back for a second to put on some cream so I wouldnt get wrinkless - and when I glance a look at the screen I see some sim walk past them - then I hear the romance music and the next thing I know she has a dagger through her hart. I checked her memories and friendship status but she's still in love with Goopie and only has the momorry of falling in love with Goopie - so I'm assuming it's the romance hack that kept their relationship intact. She asked Goopie to stay the night - he accepted and she went to bed. Goopie on the other hand didn't sleep a wink - instead he roamed around the house - turned on all her noise making equipments - drank some coffee and left at six in the morning. The next evening (Sunday) Anita decided to go out - the plan was - she parties - and then goes to school very exhausted. So she jumped into her car and drove to the Foundry. After a dinner and some lonely dancing - she left the place and drove to the crypt o night club - which fortunately had more people in it. Anita got into a fight with her sister Luna - first she was dancing with her - but then both of them got negatvie relationship points - so I thought - what the heck - fight. So after a bit of slapping all from Anita's side - Luna hates Anita. Then she wanted to get accointance with this one guy who I think is the son of Thomas Zarubin (he has the same last name) - but he was having dinner with some lady. So Anita takes the woman's food when it arrives - and then goes on a slapping cometition with her. After the woman was out of the way the man was all Anita's now - so she asked him to dance. They danced for 10 seconds or so - then got negative relationship points and stopped - furious at this Anita threw her drink on the guy - now he hates her and has stolen her paper at least once. The night was successfull otherwise except that I think the sleep on communitylot hack turned into no decay of any kind while on community lot - so the going to school exhausted part didn't happen. So Anita is now home with more energy than what she left with.

My newest project is the Hogan family, in Legacy Heights (an all Legacy Neighborhood).
Kevin and Ray, are two best friends that bought an awesome beach front property for 8k. That didn't leave much to build their house with, but they managed. Ray married the ever popular Marisa, and Kevin married Katy the bartender.(Both bringing a nice little nest egg and inventory with them- Marisa is a shop-o-holic :D) Marisa gave birth Ray Jr., and Katy gave birth to Rebecca. Could these two kids have a future together? I think so!
After adding on to their beach home, Katy decided to work at a home business and built a Florist shop. Shes working hard at floral arranging and working that cash register. Marisa was well on her way to being Mayor when she joined the family, and has decided to continue that track. Kevin and Ray are continuing their occupations Adventurer and Natural Scientist for the time being.
Working, raising their young ones, sunbathing and sandcastles. Life is pretty good right now for the Hogans.

Sim-Punky is in the Artist field and Israel is a doctor. Israel has high creativity, too, and the first thing he does when he gets home from work is to paint. I'm thinking about having Punky retire and start up an art-gallery at home, where they can sell some of their extra paintings.
This is the most attached I've been to a family in a long time.. :)

1,5 hours of play - even thou it's saturday :(
I'm still considering creating New York - but still have not done it for several reasons 1. Haven't found a good terrain yet - I found a few possible ones - but not THE one. 2. I still haven't finished detective Stabler. 3. I really like my people in pleasentview. I almost decided to delete the whole pleasentview so then I would have to start over - but decided to postpone it untill I'v packaged one community lot that I really like. Then I went to play with the Churcill family and noticed that I can't delete them - I like them too much. The other reason I wanted to start fresh was my download folder - specially the one with all the installed stuff in it and no names to tell me what package is what. I removed it already once - and all was good untill I played with Anita - her custom skin was there - and without it she - as well as the rest of the Acosta girls are white. So now I have to wait untill that skin is no longer used by anybody and then I can delete that folder.
Anyhow - about the Churcills. Conrad Leroy and Beau Broke had a wonderfull date in a run down community lot called the dark alley. It started with dinner in the local diner - and ended up with some woohoo in the stinki motell and the car. They look so cute togeather - it's a shame they can never be togeather for real. After the date - Conrad Leroy got his wife pregnant by accident even thou they were not suppose to have babies for another ten days. They are both trhilled about the baby - especially Betty as it has been on her aspiration list for ages. Other than that - they live a very ordinary quiet life.

Yesterday was another Acosta day
As Annabell only had the weekend left as a teen, it was time to start thinking about adulthood and what career to choose. As she still wants to be a Jazz musician - she decided to start her own cafe. So she borrowed mister Ewings last 10 000 simoleans and bought this tiny place for 11 000 - unfortunately she had to sell her guitar to afford it but it's her's now. As I wanted it to be a cafe I thought to turn it into a restaurant where you can only order desert. The first day Annabell did all three tasks alone, hostess, server, cook. It was quite energy consuming but she pulled it off - as there were only two tables. The next day she hired her sister Anita to wait tables - while she did the hosting and cooking. This worked up better - but because it takes so long for her to stop cooking when she starts - it wasn't the best way to do it. On the third day she hired Goopy to be the host - but he was completely useless. So the forth day she fired Goopy and turned the place to a real cafe.
Unfortunately down the lane - Annabell did a few bad economical choises. I'v only runned a community lot business once before - but due to long loading hours on my old hp - neither my sim or the manager I hired were that eager to show up for work in the morning so it kind of didn't go so well and after that I only did home busineses. Anyhow - so basically I didn't remember that you can use buy and build mode and *gasp* save while you are in your business. So if she would have bought the building without furnishing - she wouldn't have had to sell her old guitar for 1500 and buy a new one for 2500 and she wouldnt have a 10 000 loan bringing her down. Oh well - what's done is done.
So now Annabell is an adult and her business is a cafe with the espresso stand - one couch, two arm chairs and her guitar. Her new rutine is to open the business in the morning - and call Anita in - the first five-six hours Anita servs coffee while Annabell pays Jazz. Then she sends Anita home - tends the coffee bar and lets the customers play - then after four hours calls Anita back for work and plays Jazz herself. This way she's able to maximize the time Anita works and the shop can be open quite long but best of all she doesn't have to pay Anita while she is on a break. She's able to make about 500 simoleans a day after paying Anita's salary. The total amount of loan was 10 000 + 900 in intrest. The loan is still 10 000 but the intrest is now only 100. After I get the loan to be closer to 9000 she'll put the loan paying aside for a few days and spend the money to improve her business.
Anita on the other hand isn't doing so well. I let her run loose on sunday evening while I had to do something else, I was only away for 15 minutes but when I came back - she had lost her job at her sister's cafe, missed school - she's now an F student :) and had fun and social one pixel above zero. She still has another 5 days before she's an adult, maybe I'll just let her run loose for the remaining five days just to see what happens. She's too boring to micromanage.

I just moved my two ladies, Bailey & Hilda DeSieppe into a new home outside the center of the neighborhood. They explore the house, and get new jobs the minute they got the paper--which is becoming my habit, by the way.
By 12:00 noon, three guests start to show up. One of them was Soundwave, a blue robot, who later confesses his love for Bailey (http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b260/1306/isitlove.jpg). Meanwhile, her sister, Hilda plays poker with the other two visitors.
That evening, after dinner (http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b260/1306/dinnerwithfourgirls.jpg), Bailey & Soundwave have a pillow fight, while Hilda and the two other girls watch some football on the TV. Later, the visitors say goodbye, and the two sisters call it a day.
A few days later, and more visitors come over. Two of them were Megatron, who fancied a water balloon fight (http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b260/1306/waterballoonfight.jpg), Bumblebee, who had a great billiard game with Hilda (http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b260/1306/abillardgame.jpg), and Optimus Prime, who kept sitting next to Bailey at dinner time (http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b260/1306/dinnertime.jpg). But then, she gets a great surprise from two people. Now, she knows that Soundwave, Optimus Prime, and Megatron have a crush on her.

I've been playing the Sky Family(I RULE at last names =3=)
There's the mom and dad and three teenagers...one girl and two boys-one of the boys being the youngest...the other two are pretty much the same age. The mother is the only blonde in the family among 4 brunettes because of the father, who has black hair. The two boys came out exactly like the father, with red eyes and black hair. The only thing the girl got from her mother was the emerald eyes but that's about it...
I made all of my sims drink pureed boot last night. It was funny to see the two boy teenagers pretend to be shocked by electricity. I thought they really would get smoked, cuz you can see the electricity and everything, but no. The mother, once she drank the pureed boot, started dancing, the dad kept kicking an imaginary box or tombstone and pretended to be a vampire, and the oldest teen boy farted 2 times DX
I made them fish for hours just to get boots. It's amusing. What do they have now?A fridge full of fish.
Also, a random sim decided to take the "mi casa es su casa" saying and put it into action,he just came in through the door while the family was talking at the dinner table and started watching TV. That's about it for now...not really interesting.

My self-sim's daughter (who isn't even a teenager yet) is close to maxing out her cooking, logic, and mechanical; has about half of her cleaning and charisma points; and has completely maxed out her creativity and sold four Masterpieces... without any cheating! I haven't set her age back, cheated her skills, or anything like that. She doesn't have the Stuck Smartmilk bug, either..
At first I was amazed.. I hadn't even noticed how much skill-building she was doing. But then I realized that she lives in my custom 'hood where 3/4 of the seasons are Fall.. lol! I guess I've found the secret to sim-success! ;P

I feel in love with the Twilight series, so I made them into sims. Any one who read the books will know who I am talking about. I had Isabella marry Edward and then I had Alice marry Jasper, I had them move into gather and they each had a kid (even though it is impossible for vampires to have kids) Isabella had a girl, Elizabeth (after Edwards mother) and Alice had a boy, William. The kids are teens know, and they are going steady. I can't wait untill they can marry. One day I may do Roselie and Emmett have kids, but one step at a time.

So I've been playing my favorite teenacy family for a while (the Wartons.) They consist of Chase and Amelia, two teen parents who had a baby named Emile. Amelia quit school and her job to stay at home and take care of Emile, Chase had to work minimum wage and going to school to support his family. It really hasn't been tough for Amelia and Chase to take care of Emile except when she wakes up at 4 in the morning screaming for Daddy. In which amazingly, Chase has become an overachiever, well almost, he hadn't enough time for skill building to be promoted. When Emile grew up to be a child, it was Chase's decision to pursue his career and moved to college. Now Amelia is jobless and out of school and has no means of supporting her family with only 1000 dollars in her bank account, YET she is going to wait until Emile grows up to be a teenager or when Chase comes back and has a better work schedule. Now Amelia calls Chase at least once every week to catch up.

Ooh, nice thread.
Well, my game is pretty boring as of right now. (I plan on making a new set of sims later)
I played the Vector family today, which consists of Keely's Tavv and my Everly. All that really happened is that she got pregnant, gave birth to Remmy and Milo Vector, got a promotion, got pregnant again and gave birth to.. something rather, and then..
I got the bright idea to give her a makeover.
Well. I now realize how ugly she is. xD
Sooo, until I can get back in game and fix her face, that family will remain unplayed.
=P Tavv is too handsome to ignore, though.
So.

Anyway.

Lets see - Brandi lost all her tapestry and floors when somebody decided to delete her download folder that contained all the stuff that came from installing lots (except the ones downloaded in august as the Acosta girls skin is in that bunch) - so Brandi was forced to use what little monney she had on renovations. The outside of her hut is still bare as she ran out of money. Also having the dog forced Brandi to make a bathroom renovation so it could fit a tub and in case that's not enough money well spent - thanks to the expensive bills x10 + a 320 simolean rent Brandi was forced to take a job to support herself. Her 150 simolean retirement just wasn't doing it. Tomorrow will be her first day in the adventure acreer. I'll let her work through the winter, but in the spring she will quit her job and focus on growing plants so she wouldn't need to spend money on grocories.
Due to bad micromanagement Anita ended up dead from lack of rest while having the flu and while having the real sickness hack. It came as a bit of a surprise as her stats were pretty good really - no hints on death approaching. Well - I don't like this girl that much but I didn't want her being dead either - so I exited without saving. Anita has 20 simoleans in her account - a 302 simolean bill that's due tomorrow - and a 210 rent that's due in two days. The repo man has visited once - it seems he will be doing at least two more visits. Due to having so many enemies Anita always had her trash on the ground which of course led to roaches. She hired the exterminator - he took a chair and a computer as payment. As I really wanted to know what happens if you use the money machine while on low aspiration - I let Anita counterfeit some money (but not take it - I want to keep her poor). For the dissapointment of all my sims - counterfeiting money while on low aspiration doesn't get you busted - it will just set a fire to the machine. Anita will be an adult today at 18.00. When that happens i'll put her fuming dirty toilet, her fridge and her dirty counters in her inventory - put a tv-dinner in the oven and go for a ride - I want to see how the fire will spred. Then I'll let her move out of the house.

I started an economy based neighbourhood that is running on the very basics now. My sim, Halle, who sells household essentials, will eventually be moving on from the necessary furniture (as soon as another sim can take that over and make it into a full fledged furniture store). Halle already has aspirations of owning an art deco store, selling things to beautify the home like home made paintings, and little deco items for around the house. I'm currently making pictures for her to paint and sell in her shop.
As for the neighbourhood itself, I've taken care of the food source...the mayor, Jean-Luc Picard (I really love the fact that he's the mayor) is getting some taxes. It's small for now because really, I'm only a week into playing and there are only 3 other households. Once this neighbourhood gets a bit more on it's feet, the taxes will probably either go up or the population will get bigger.

A few days ago I started a legacy family, the Donovans. Anthony is a Fortune Sim with a LTW of being Business Tycoon. He was quite fortunate that the very first job in the paper on day 1 was Business. He's married to Andrea Hogan (the chick with the slanty haircut and gold-ish formal dress... she's since had a massive makeover LOL) and they have a son named Blake, who just became a child today.
At the moment, Anthony is doing very well as a Vice President and Andrea is looking into getting a job in the Education field now that Blake will be in school. When she and Anthony married, she was in the military (don't remember what rank though) but she hated it and wanted to be a stay-at-home mom.
Nothing too exciting yet, except Anthony got electrocuted the other day while fixing a computer himself (they couldn't afford the repairman at the time). He's fine now though.

After Jonathan and Alexandra got married, Jonathan’s brother Henry moved out and quit his education carrier. He spends most of time, having fun, doing nothing particularly. (He’s a pleasure sim.) His creativity skill is high enough so he earns good money by playing guitar in community lots and gets really good tips. He is dating Lilia Santana who is also lover of his best friend Jake Henderson at the same time.
Lilia is a romance sim. She seduced most of the married men in West Port. She wants a rich husband so she got herself pregnant by Jake Henderson who is promising doctor. But Jake has no intention to do anything serious with Lilia because he’s married to socialité Isabelle Henderson with twins Royce and Liana.
Isabelle doesn’t know yet that his husband is having an affair with Lilia and has a child by her. She’s a fortune sim and wants a wealthy life for her family. After the twins were born she hired a nanny Julia Martinelli to live with them so that she can keep working.
Lilia gave a birth to baby boy Ricardo. Luckily Gloria Alvarez moved in to the flat next to them and made their life easier. While Lilia is working, Gloria is taking care of Little Ricardo.
Meantime Serge DiMera was caught by his wife Natasha while he was cheating her with Lilia. Serge is a family sim and he works a lot in their garden by selling the fresh products that he and Natasha produce. Though he loves his wife very much, he cannot keep himself away from Lilia who is beautiful and seductive. On the other hand Natasha wants to keep the family together. She forgave Serge and they had three children whom they called Lucas, Ariel and Stephan.
Jonathan and Alexandra are having their best time at the moment. They are happily married and both of them has a succesful carreer.

My husband's game last night: He was building a new house for a family and after spending almost an hour on it he learned one very important lesson. Never put one of the fire jets in a giant fountain. Water burns quite nicely, and he hadn't gotten around to putting a phone or fire alarm in yet. The whole courtyard went up, with the parents and the toddler in the middle of it. The teen had driven herself and her younger brother and sister to school, so they were out of it at first. The parents both died. After that, the teen got home from school and incinerated herself trying to get the toddler out of the middle of the fire. Then the social worker came. Unfortunately she didn't burn up before claiming the toddler. When the two children came home from school my husband used the age sims cheat to turn them temporarily into teens so they could extinguish what remained of the fire, unlocked the resurrect-o-nomitron and used motherlode to get enough money to recover their parents and sister, then used the teleporter shrub to get the toddler back. Then he re-set the kids as kids. Now they have nightmares, but at least he didn't lose all the work he had done on a lot that hadn't been saved at all yet.

Still in the Donovan legacy:
Anthony reached the top of the Business career and is now working on maxing out all skills. Andrea *finally* got a job in the Education career the day Blake became a teen. Because she already had so many skill points and tons of friends, she's zooming along. His parents thought Blake would follow his father into Business but opted instead for the Adventure career. At the moment he's still at the first teen level but should be promoted today. He's dating Brittany Parker (the little redhead in purple that often comes home with child sims. They were best friends so I decided to grow her up when Blake grew up). Note that this is not a strict legacy as I'm using a few cheats along the way (like growing Brittany up, though I dunno if that counts or not).
Anthony is about a week away from being elder; Andrea's a couple of days behind him. Blake is about a week and a half from being an adult.

I just installed the hack that allows teen sims to become pregnant. Well, I got my sim all cozy with the another sim. But I wanted her to hurry and get pregnant. So I clicked on her biological clock and told her to have a baby with a sim. Well, I got the names confused and she accidentally had a baby with her father. Now I think it's so gross that I am making the teen move out of the house with the baby.

I haven't started any other families since starting the Donovans, so I'll continue with that update.
Anthony & Andrea are both elders now; Blake is an adult and married to Brittany Parker (once again I aged her up when Blake aged). They are expecting their first child in a few days. Andrea is I think at level 8 in the Education career. Brittany expects to follow in her mother-in-law's footsteps once her unborn child is in school. Hopefully she'll have better luck getting a job sooner than Andrea did LOL
Later Update:
Brittany became unbearably annoying during pregnancy. She gave birth to a son named Christopher and then died in a "tragic" swimming-related accident shortly thereafter.
Anthony retired so Blake could keep working without having to hire a babysitter. Andrea should be reaching the top of the Education career today.

Alot actually - and on the other hand not much. I spent the whole of yesterday playing with Anita - have to say that trying to keep a popularity sim who's living alone happy and alive is really hard. Anyhow - I won't bore you with more dtails regarding this - as I think that the business controll thingi I downloaded destroyed my neighborhood. First all was good - I had it in my game but it was not being used by Anita in her flower business. Then suddenly people would buy things - but never pay for their purchases - they'll just play water balloon fight untill they got hungry and then left. So I exit the game in a hope that what ever broke would be fixed by a restart - but when I get back - there's no pleasentview any more - gone. Anyhow - after looking around for a while - I got the hint - did a major celanout in my download folder - only kept a handfull of items I knew what they were - then deleted the whole ea games folder from my computer. Fresh start :) So I downloaded Basin City from MTS2 - the layout is perfect - you have two parts that are perfect for dense habitation and you can seperate them to a rich part of town and poor part of town - then you have parts that are good for farms. I called it Basin City - it's a good name and I have no imagination when it comes to naming things. The majority of yesterday went into finding items I know I would miss not having. As I also delted all my clothes and hairs - I downloaded some Nouk hairs - and a few sets of underwear - so no woman of mine needs to wear maxis default underwear. I'm still missing four items and one curch that I really would love to have back but I haven't found them yet. My download folder is organized to the limits - no more bulk downloads and no more set downloads and no more quantity - quality is better.
Anyhow - after all this initializing - I did have time to create my first family in Basin city - Arwen Miller. It's the same idea as with the Pleasentview Arwin - living of the land. I let her join the gardening club - forgot it was forbidden. But I'm going to have a nother living of the land family coming soon so I'll keep that in mind. As I don't have any rich people yet - or nobody I can lend money from - Arwen's bakery is completley outside at the moment. She doesn't even have a pet yet. But she is 0 outgoing so the littel interaction she gets keeps her happy for long periods.

Ok the Donovans are looong gone. I didn't like the way the neighborhood was going so I deleted it. Plus I downloaded a terrain that I like better so I started a new legacy neighborhood, with two rules: only one child per generation (unless I get twins of course) and all heirs must be male. I wanted to keep the founder's last name throughout the line (I have a hack that automatically chooses the male's last name at marriage, regardless of who proposes). So if a baby turns out to be a girl, I quit without saving until I get a boy.
So I have the Steeles: Alexander is the founder, married to a Downtownie named April Copur (no apparent relation to Ivy Copur)... Alex is a Knowledge Sim with a LTW of being Media Magnate. He's well on his way! April came into the marriage at the top of her career (Slacker) and brought $70k with her! Her LTW is to earn $100,000... so since she doesn't have to do anything career-wise except go to work, she's working on maxing out skills plus earning badges in fishing and gardening (I don't have OFB so I can't do the rest of the badges). Oh and they have a son named Bradley. He just turned into a toddler so not sure exactly how he'll turn out.

LOL when Bradley was born, I had to quit 3 times before I finally got a boy. The last time I tried this, I had to quit so many times I eventually just gave up and had the girl.
-----
Both Alex and April now have a silver fishing badge (they won't be running out of food anytime soon LOL) and April has a silver gardening badge as well. She's not in the gardening club though 'cuz all I'm doing is four apple trees... for now anyway. Maybe in later generations I'll make a small veggie garden along the back of the house.
Oh and they're also both excellent cooks... there have been no fires in the kitchen! (Watch, I say that now and the next time I go into the game, one of them will burn the house down :p)
Bradley has already finished learning how to talk and walk and has been potty trained. Smart Milk is awesome! He's also about 1/2 way through beating the bunny to death... I mean, learning charisma  I can't wait 'til he's a child 'cuz I hate the toddler stage. So annoying.

After finally tracking down the file that was screwing up my game so sims couldn't visit community lots, Tess's bar finally opened.
Opening night consisted of these spontaneous events (I didn't even get to see what caused all the ruckus):
1 fight
2 people caught cheating (not cause of fight)
1 druken proposal by a married, father of 5 and heterosexual (I thought) man to a man he hardly knew (proposal rejected)
1 engagement proposal between a couple already in love (proposal accepted)
1 puddle of pee of the floor
lots of tears
lots of dancing

Well anyway Amelia Emile and Chase chose to play catch outside in the snow which I thought was farfetched but it's whatever they want to do, then they all had a snowball fight. My sim Amelia made a snow angel and stuff. That was basically their day yesterday.

IrishGrace - do you play one legacy/neighborhood or more?
Due to real life interfearing with my virtual life - not much playing have been done. Just build a few poor houses for the project part of the city - downloaded lots of excellent city related lots from http://n99forumpaks.djssims.com/index.php and created one guy - which adds the amount of families living in Basin city to three. I also changed the neighborhood image to one with Marv shooting, completely forgot about it and the next time I started my game - was pleasentlly surpised of how good the image was. Basin city felt so much more real with a proper neighborhood pic.
Freeman:
Antwone and Tasha moved to a nice quiet lower middle class part of Basin City. As Arwen was the only one living in town at that time - she came alone to welcome them to the neighborhood. Tasha and Arwen hit it on right a way - and by the time Arwen left home a few hours later - they were already friends. That's pretty much it for now - Antwone got a job as a security guard - but his dream is to become a sports star.
krueger:
Freddy krueger was the forth person to move into Basin city. As he didn't have any eductaion or motivation for that matter - he decided to open his own liquore store. he bought an old rundown shop from one of the worst parts of Basin city. Set up his shop downstairs - while he fixed the second floor of the house to live in. The people of Basin City must have been boozly deprivad as business is booiming. Third day on the job and the shop had got it's first ranking - and we were not even trying. Otherwise Mr. Kreuger is not doing that bad either - he did almost die once on a community lot becuase I got stuck in the kitchen talking to my brother's girlfriend - when I come back - the screen is spinning out of controll and Freddy has 0 energy and maybe 1.5 pixels worth of hunger. I stop the screen spinnign - called a taxi and spent the next few sim hours micromanagin Freddy back to life. Our Freddy here seems to have a bit of a drinking problem. Not only does he substitute many measl with beer - but he also loves autonomusly to head to the bar regardless of are we at home or in a community lot. Maybe it's Freddy's distinct bodely oder or his inability to keep up a deasent conversation - but mr. Kreuger seems to be quite popular with the ladies. They ask him to go dancing, or ring up on the phone to chat. One of these lucky ladies is going to give him an illigement child later on - which one of them it is going to be - we don't know yet - we might not have even met her yet.

Hmm... let's see...
I played my Sticatto Legacy, where currently the second-generation ehiress, Avis, is married to Chandler Platz and their one child/heiress, Cherry, is a teenager. Chandler was at a community lot when he discovered that he had three chemistry bolts for Skyler Herald, a cold hard jounralist with a promiscous side.
Chandler and Skyler were busy flirting with each other when Avis's mother Lacey (whose an elder and the legacy founder) saw them and started to fight with Skyler! She beat her too. It was hilarious. Chandler continues to have an affair, although he's otherwise a loyal husband.

Ooo, this sounds like fun. Hope you don't mind if I add.
I recently started a new neighborhood called Saddlebrook. I still love my old neighborhood (called The Hard Drive because I started it right after my system crashed and the drive was wiped) but there were only three major families I played. Because of this, it became very hard to seperate who was who's kids and I married a few of the second generation together...needless to say inbreeding was threatening my game. They know first cousins but not second cousins. Creepy!
So, the newest family is Wes & Scarlett West. Yes. Wes West. His parents hated him, I've decided. Wes was married previously (remember, this is only in my head) but his wife died giving birth to their only daughter Jaime. Jaime is at Academie le Tour right now. I don't have the patience to play her through just yet. Wes and Scarlett quickly got busy and now have four children - Lorick, Davis, Lucy and Wendy. See - this is how I get into trouble. Too many babies! I just can't deny those "Have A Baby" wants though.
On the other side of the street, I created Sonic Shepherd. She's my "black widow". Uses men for their money, pops out a kid, then kills them. She's on her third husband now with three kids.
Ok, I thought this might be a little more interesting but I guess not. New neighborhoods are hard to get going!

Scout - The Rag to richses lots are just wonderfull. Sure they all need a bit of re-dcorating to make them more usefull as downtown lots but still - they are supperb.
IrishGrace - I was wondering about the number of legasies because you said you only want one kid/generation and it has to be a male. Which means you cant ever mix these blood lines. How do you keep the game from not becoming too repetative? if its' always parents + son in every household.

I think I may just do the one child/always male thing in this particular legacy and do a "traditional" legacy for the next family where they have more than one kid and I choose which one is the heir, etc. That way, the non-heirs can marry into other legacies, etc.... eventually I'll run out of townies/downtownies to marry so I'll HAVE to do it the traditional way LOL
-----
I started a new legacy (in a new neighborhood) but am still gonna play the Steele legacy off and on.
This one is founded by Quincy Gardner, a Knowledge Sim w/ a LTW of becoming a Space Pirate (Adventure career). At the moment, he's crushing hard on Brandi LeTourneau so I think they may get together... hopefully soon LOL In this legacy, I have no rules (I'll probably decide heirs by looks) and I'm not using any cheats except the Relationships Never Decay hack that's part of InSim. I hate keeping their relationships up so I almost always use this.
Oh and in this one, I'm actually letting him pretty much do his own thing (except telling him to do the stuff for promotions, calling Brandi, etc.)... it's a lot more interesting than the micromanaging I have been doing LOL
-----
UPDATE!! Quincy and Brandi *finally* got married and... Brandi just gave birth to natural-born twins! I named them Quinn (girl) and Brandon (boy)... still can't believe she had twins though LOL
Unfortunately because of scheduling and stuff, these guys are gonna have to use a nanny. Brandi's at the top of her career (Criminal Mastermind) and brings in a lot more money than Quincy does right now so they're both keeping their jobs.

Not actually today, but I had a lot I hadn't played in over 3 months with an exiled demoness (she was too nice) and the fairy who had saved her. They are both knowledge sims, and both of them wanted to be saved from death. So I used the Insimenator to let them die and save each other a few times. Then I made them recover naturally. The next morning the demoness rolled "Be saved from death" twice on the same wants panel. (I posted a picture in the bloopers thread.) A few minutes later Dawn got her point of charisma from the mirror and both of them had their wants panel re-roll. Salemis was back down to one "Saved from Death", and now Dawn had it again. So I let them do it again, but this time Dawn went first because she is the one with fewer friends and an annoying tendency to have a fear of Salemis dying, even when they are doing the "saved from death" thing. (She is an ex-cult leader,so if something goes wrong there is always the resurrect-o-nomitron.)
Anyway, they do a couple of "Saved from Death" rounds (actually 4 each) and I heard the pregnancy chime. All I was doing was "suicide" and then using maxmotives. But apparently one of them is now pregnant. And neither have had their first woohoo.

Still in the infancy stages for the twins but their birthday is in less than 24 Sim hours.
I hate serious Sims... Quincy was taking care of the twins and *lectured* Brandon after he changed his diaper
In other news, I think Quincy is gonna have to quit his job 'til the twins are a little older or until the house is finished, whichever comes first... the house is so not done and at the moment they're not gonna be able to afford a babysitter. Brandi still has two days left of maternity leave (I hate when they go back to work the same day they had the baby!) so she'll use those up and I'll see where they are with the house and then decide if Quincy has to quit his job.

Freeman:
Antwone finally got into the athletic career. He was lucky enough to only have to be a team mascot for one day - as he got promoted immediately. Antwone is working really hard to succeed in his chosen profession - but he's also battling to keep his woohoo addiction undrell controll. He hasn't yet done anything more than checking the merchendice. So far - he's been loyal to his wife. I'm sure my computer knows what I need and then gives me just the opposite. I sent Antwone to town to do some harmless flirting - I went through four places - the only women I met were teens or elderly - and everybody else - including the staff were men. Then when I was palying with Arwin - all the women were hanging around her bakery. Anyhow - due to Antwone's bad luck on finding some leagally aged woman to flirt with - he spent all his money on the matchmaker so she would give him a woman to flirt with. They didn't go on a date - but they did get along quite well. Antwone was able to keep the matchmaker bill hidden from his wife - he got the promotion on the same day and thus the wife never noticed that for about half a day - they had 0 simoleans on their account.
Arwen finally got her tomatoe harvest. The poor woman didn't have enough food in the fridge for a bowl of cereal. With only 112 simoleans in her account and only a few days from getting a bill - Arwen made and sold four servings of pancakes. That's pretty much all the food she is going to be selling this winter. Her fridge is now upto food level 102 - and with that amount she needs to survive untill the next harvest. There's still 4 days left of winter + what ever days we need for the new harvest. Arwen finally got herself a pet - a stray dog she adopted called Max. It's the first dog ever I managed to adopt since getting pets - and I didn't even use any hacks.
I also created a new woman to the neighborhood called Rebecka Mason. A pretty but super nerdy girl who started a bookshop. I have been wanting to create a nerdy girl who would open her own bookshop for a long time now - and it took me hours of searching to find the hair and the perfect woman. But somehow - I wasn't feeling her - so she got deleted. I liked having a bookshop thous - so somebdoy else will have to open it.
Marv finally arrived to Basin city :lovestruc I used the one you can download from TSR - but did some majour face modification on him. First I was planning to use the slim body builder skin on him - but then I found the huge body builder skin http://www.insimenator.net/showthread.php?t=60705 :)
Marv is going to be the only one who is going to use this body shape - to make sure that he's the biggest guy in Basin City. Marv is still in the sim bin because I don't know yet - where he will be living - and what is he really going to do.
What I do know is that:
1. I'll unock the punching bag for him and let him maximize his bodyskills (so he can win all his fights).
2. Arwen will fall in love with him and get pregnant (but Marv will not move in with her - too much commitment)
3. He'll be enemies with the gang I'm going to create later on
4. He will visit the bars alot
Well - this is what I have planned - but usually what I plan and what really happens are two different things.

I was building the majority of the time I was on my computer. Building is a really tidious and boring task - but what can I do - I needed the place. It's a community lot for my poor. In the front you have stores and a restaurant. Upstairs there's a sleezy hotell for your one night stands - and behind the building is Kadie's bar - and to reach that place you need to walk thrugh this really long alley. I should download some trashy alley things to make it look more - less desirable.
Somebody was asking here for Pascall Curious - I needed a nerd so I snatched him to my game. He's now in family bin.
Freeman:
Antwone had the day off so he went on a date. This woman was a bit difficult - she would have wants like hug Antwone - or kiss or what ever - and when I tried to fullfill them - she'd get mad at me - anyhow it ended up being a perfect date. He got a pinnballmachine as a reward. He didn't woohoo anybody yet - it's all flirts still.
Sinclar: Marv finally arrived to the city. He's living in this really bad run down warehouse - the first story is un-occupoied - and he lives on the second. First I let him gain a few body points - and then sent him to town. He went to Kadie's bar and sat down to order a drink. The next thing I know Kennedy Cox has stolen Marv's drink - so we go to beat him up. Marv's first fight :lovestruc - unfortunately he lost it. Now his greatest want is to see Kennedy's ghost - a wish I will grant him - even thou we are not yet clear on the details.
After a few more drinks - some computer games and a shower. Marv went back home just in time for the welcoming comittey to arrive. It was Tasha, Freddy and Arwen. First Arwen and Marv were having a bit communication trouble - but thank God Arwen is so easy - she barely knows this guy but still she didn't reject his flirtation. Marv needs to find a job soon - I want to buy him a motorcykle.

Finally some play time - first time this week :luff:
I did open my game a few times thou - but only to do some stuff - not to play.
Most of my time has been spent on trying find dear Fread some booze to sell. Trying to provide alcoholl to ones sims is like mission impossible. There is alcohol out there - but not the kind I need. I don't want to sell decorative bottles that have no functionality at all - I want them to be real - and that's why it was hard to find anything good. First he was selling champange and some drink recolours I got from mts2. But I didn't like the drink recolours because it's wasn't real beer. And making Freddy serve drinks 12 times on a row so I could add them to his inventory was a pain. Then I found beer in simslice but you couldn't sell that beer - I found a brandi bottle in mts2 that was suppose to be drinkable but was not and after placing in on any surface you had to use the :smash: tool to delete it. Then finally I found the wine bottles from sapphire sims by frillen7. They are not perfect - as they have no drinking animation and the bottles dissapear after you use them - but at least it has some side effects and it's way better than anything else I found so now Freddy has two shelfs filled with frillen's booze and one shelf with champange. I'm still looking around for more items for Freddy to sell - hopefully some cheap booze so I don't have to worry that my playable people will spend all their money on Freddy's 250 simolean booze. Sapphire sims also had a beer can - but it's unsellable as well :anime:
Freddy's business is booming - he's already in business level 3 and we are not even trying to succeed. I was actually thinking it will be open for long periods of times - maybe get 2 bottles a day sold and that's it. But at one point today - all Freddy's shelfs vere out of stock and the cash line was all the way to the door (that's like four people in a line but still - it was all the way to the door). Due to Freddy having too little time to be both cachier and restocker - he hired a townie called Sandy something - blond girl - big lips to be the cashier. I think she is also going to be his first ex wife :)

I have been playing the Simmons family for a while now, and I thought that I'd share my experiences with ya'll!
Well, let's see. The wife's name is Jane Simmons, and the husband's name is Carl Simmons. They have two children, a toddler named Anna Simmons, and a teenager named Chris Simmons. Anna isn't a big trouble maker, but Chris? He's a totally different story. He has a girlfriend named Charlie Miller, and she is the wildest, craziest sim ever. In history. She's crazier than the nanny and Mrs. Crumplebottom COMBINED!
Anyway, they've been dating for a while and Chris is about to go to Uni. (By my choice, of course.) Charlie walks around the house all the time, almost like a stalker. Actually, exactly like a stalker. She seriously walks around the house, stands in the backyard, and then walks off of the lot. Sometimes it really freaks me out. I'm starting to think that I'm going to have to make a fence around the lot...
So, yeah. That's pretty much all that's happened.
I guess I'll have to update soon!

Simville
Philips Family
Charles is a Knowledge Sim w/ a LTW of being Chief of Staff while his wife Candice is a Family Sim w/ a LTW of being Education Minister. So far, Candice has gotten hired, fired and rehired, all in the space of a week. Charles is having zero luck getting a job in the medical field.
Stevens Family
James and Jennifer are both Fortune Sims, James wanting to be a Criminal Mastermind, Jennifer wanting to earn 100,000 Simoleans. James is doing well as a Bagman, while Jennifer spends her time having a lesbian affair with Candice Philips LOL

Okay this could get long. Hope the site doesn't time out on me while I'm posting. Currently playing my created college, SIM. The Smith Institute of Miscellany with Sims who default in the sim bins of the pre-made schools as my student body. Playing a four dorm rotation
Desert Dormitory (pulled from La Fiesta Tech)
------------------------------------------
The three playables here are Stella Terrano, Marla Biggs of Academie Le Tour, and Meadow Thayer. Originally Meadow wasn't intended to be in the mix. But when she made online contact with Ellen Frost over at Horshu Dorms, I decided to put her in the mix. Which has proven to be a source of chaos. Stella and Marla (both getting ready to start junior year) have had a lesbian love affair going ever since Stella made an autonomous first move on Marla in the second semester of freshman year. But once Meadow got there she too started to feel the burn for Marla. Unfortunately Meadow's timing stunk and she tried bedding Marla just as Stella was returning from a class. Stella caught them and has been really steamed at both of them. Although Stella is starting to forgive Marla. Former best friend Meadow isn't so lucky. I have separate NPC lovers picked out for Stella and Meadow next. Ultimately though, I'm hoping to find men for both of them and Marla be the one who stays lesbian. And I'm thinking if I get far enough long to send other sims to SIM, that this dorm may carry a reputation for lesbianism.
Middleton House (so named for being the middle of the street)
-----------------------------------------------------------
This house features the Student Housing family from La Fiesta. William Williamson, Blossom Moonbeam and Klara Vonderstein. Well more so the young women now. William is dead. Started Fortune but turned Romance via the reprogrammer. First he bedded Klara but toward the end of his life he and Blossom also fell in love. So he woo-hooed Blossom and got caught by Klara. Leaving Klara feeling betrayed and opening up room for her to be the eventual life partner for Marla Biggs down the road. Blossom meanwhile is being pointed to a marriage with Jared Starchild who is in another dorm. William's death was quite a challenge though. He died from a combination of starvation and sleep apnea (I.E. me sending him repeatedly to bed every time he complained he was hungry.) This eventually led to a bout of insanity which culminated in several hours of streaking randomly (by command) all over the lot late at night. As day rose, he refused to streak any further and was rebelling against a command to weed the front yard when death came to him. Cruelest thing I've done to a Sim in many moons.
Horshu Dorms (named for the horseshoe shape of the building)
-------------------------------------------------------------
This lot features the First Year household from Academie La Tour. Chaz Whippler, Ellen Frost and Phinneas Furley. Chaz has mostly skating through the game. As a Romance Sim I had little idea for, I sent him wooing various women in the dorm looking for a clue. He fell in love first with Ellen but Phinneus beat him to woo-hooing Ellen and I currently have them slated to be a couple. Going so far as to have Ellen change aspirations from Fortune to Family for love of Phinneas. While he was mad at Ellen and Phinneas for their affair, Chaz started working on this wavy-haired blonde dormie named Lydia Shamalan (not her real last name but you'd butcher it the same way as M Night Shamalan so it's close enough). Considering how hard he's had it pursuing Lydia, Chaz ended the last play session using the life experience of becoming a junior to change aspirations from Romance to Family and is looking forward to marrying Lydia. Whether the Whipplers will remain in town after the wedding I haven't decided yet.
Hillerman House (named for being up on an overlook)
----------------------------------------------------
This house has the Freshman household from Sim State. Ty Bubbler, Sam Davis and Jared Starchild. Along with fellow Sim State sim binner Eric Swain.
Ty and Sam have both abandoned their original Popularity aspirations (not fond of Popularity sims). Ty has become Romance and Sam family. But the common bond of leaving their original aspirations behind brought Sam and Ty into a freshman fling. Which saw them lose their virginities to each other. However, Ty's playing the cad and looking to lay more of the dorm and is currently on the verge of bedding another black dormie named Carmen Copur. While Sam, seeing Ty for the horndog that he is has fallen for Eric Swain. A relationship I'm hoping to encourage. Jared meanwhile has been wooing the previously mentioned Blossom Moonbeam over at Middleton House. However, he doesn't know about William Williamson having seduced his lady love into bed. Neither Jared or Blossom was on each other's lot that semester. Haven't decided whether she should tell or take it to her grave yet.
After everyone graduates, I'm thinking some of the couples may end up sim binned for a while because I tend to get overwhelmed trying to juggle too many families at once.

All is not well in the Stevens house. Jennifer got a job in the Adventurer career only to come home after her first day to find her husband and her lesbian lover in bed together! Oh, and during all the commotion that ensued, I heard the pregnancy chimes! The funniest part about the whole thing was in her memories, Jennifer was upset that *Candice* was cheating on her... apparently she didn't give a flip about her husband cheating on her LOL Only thing she cared about with him was that she lost the fight they had!
By the way, this is so not what I had been planning! I had been planning on Charles catching Candice and Jennifer in bed together after Charles and Candice had a kid together and James being completely oblivious to all of it!

In my game right now.. well, I don't have a game. Something is seriously bugged, I've even reinstalled BV but I'm still having major problems.
I suspect I had some bodyshop files that somehow got corrupted, as I started getting bugs in BodyShop too. Hopefully deleting everything in my SavedSims folder will work...
I've tried playing w/o CC, and I've even completely deleted all of my neighborhoods and tried to start over.. But any new NH's or families were still tweaking. I have no idea what I did wrong, xD

Oh that sounds really crappy Punky. D: Have you considered a clean install?
In my game, I've mainly been playing my legacy family's third generation-ers. It takes soooo long to play though, because my legacy founder Gilly had four children, three of which all survived into adulthood. Her oldest daughter Ariel and her oldest son Seb both live in their own houses, and the third daughter Oceana moved back to the Legacy house to live.
At this point in my game, Ariel has four children, two sets of twins. The oldest set of twins are the male twins, named Samuel and Seeley, are both in college now. Her second set of twins are her girls, Alyson and Lily, who both are still children. Ariel just celebrated her birthday and transistioned into elder.
Seb has three sons, the oldest of which is Xander, who was concieved due to alien abduction. Xander is now in college as well. Seb's other two sons, Lee and Brett, still live at home. Lee is nearly reaching the age where he will move to college as well.
And my heir, Oceana, has three daughters. Her oldest and most beautiful daughter Akiko (pictured in my avatar,) currently is at college as well. Her other two daughters, Tsukiko and Mi-Ju both still live at home with Oceana, her husband, and their grandfather.
I'm really obsessed with playing Akiko, Xander, Samuel and Seeley at the moment. I constructed this huge dormitory for them to all live in together in style, and I'm currently setting up their long-term relationships so I can be prepared for the next generation of the legacy.

Stevens and Philips households
Jennifer "broke up" with James (I hate that... why can't they say divorced when it's a married couple!? "Broke up" sounds so high school) and he moved out.... and then Jennifer proceeded to have an affair with Charles, who still doesn't know about either of the times Candice cheated on him. Jennifer is now pregnant with Charles' baby LOL Candice is still in love with Jennifer even though Jennifer hates her, plus still in love with Charles and James. Oh and Jennifer has a want to get engaged to Charles LOL Candice so far has no wants regarding James at all.
Now I'm dizzy. Doesn't help that the two households are in different seasons, so where it's nice and cool in Jennifer's world, there's a huge blizzard at Charles and Candice's house!

I meant like a clean install of your game entirely. I know it's a sucky solution and you'd lose your game files, but it would definitely solve the problem.

That's what I thought you meant. I'm trying to save that as my last resort, lol.. Now that its the weekend, if I'm not studying for finals the whole time, I might be able to find some time to do an entire reinstall.
Right now I'm still going through other possible solutions. Thank you for the suggestion, though. Actually I think I might have fixed it *crosses fingers!!* I let the game remake all of my user folders and so far its working out.. Now I just have to start slowly adding back CC :/

Freeman. Antwone got another promotion and the fame of his chosen career started to overpower him. One of the chairty events he committed himself to was teaching teens some sports. Well - there wasn't that much of sports going on as flirting. At one point Antwone thought his wife went out for errands - but she didn't - she did on the other hand find him in bed with one of his students - which by accident was the same day she found out she was pregnant. Antwone was furious with her - and vise versa. He'd always felt family life is boring - and a baby was the last straw - he filed for divorce and Tosha was forced to move out. If it would have been up to Antwone - Tosha would have left without a dime of the money HE had earned. Thanks to the settlement thou - Tosha got most of the furniture and abotu 3000 simoleans. With that money she was able to move into one of the worst project buildings in Basin City - an unfinished one room apartment. It was all she could afford for now. As all her money went on buying the house - the furniture she got in her divorce was more than needed. She did have to sell some of it - but at least she had a working kitchen, a bed and a fully functional bathroom. It was pure luck that a few days before getting pregnant - Tosha had got a job as a playground monitor. It was with this money that she survived her pregnancy. With there being no point for Tosha to work 8 hours a day with minimum salary from which half would go on nanny fees - Tosha decided to open her own flower business. She used the free time she had while pregnant to prepare the flowers - so when it was time to open shop - she would have products in her inventory. The baby was born three days after moving into the new house - a lovely girl who was named Tamila (I think). With the baby now born and still no financial support from the Basin city social services to fix up the house - Tosha had no other choise but to take a loan from John Ross Ewing so she could fix up the house and start up her business. Tosha was doing extremely well - she worked hard on both her business and baby - she never complained about being tired or missing a meal. The only bad part was that job required standing all day long - which led to a permanently low comfort level. Tosha's business is doing ok - but not greate. Tamila was an easy baby but a very demanding (and ugly) toddler. It didn't help that Tosha was too poor to buy a tub - which led to Tamilia having to spend half her toddler life stinking like a trash can. If you don't look at her zero hygene level - Tamilia was doing great - she learned to walk and use the potty - as well as learning quite many mechanical points on the way. She also grew into a child with fully platinum meters - that's how good a mother Tosha is.
I decided to have a new rule - as Tosha is really poor - only income is her flower business. She doesn't have to pay rent. I already have the bills x10 so she's barely making it even now. She does on the other hand- have to pay alot of loan back to mister Ewing. She took 2000 simoleans with 9% intrest. Double that amount and that's how much she has to pay back - 4360. Of course the rules change according to families - everybody who takes a loan will have the same payment deal (9% intrest x 2) - but rent will be decided on individual cases. Most likely if there's even one adult who's working outside the house - they won't be allegeble for the Basing City social service rent support - and would have to pay their rent by them self.

Will the drama never end!? Oy...
I started another new family in Simville, James and Janet Andrews, who look suspiciously exactly like James and Jennifer Stevens. Anyway, James is a Fortune Sim well on his way to becoming Chief of Staff and Janet is a Knowledge Sim working hard to be Media Magnate. And they're expecting twins... well, James is anyway. Last night the poor guy got abducted by aliens, an event he likens to the death of a beloved family member and that Janet is rejoicing over and wants to see a repeat of  being a Knowledge Sim and all. This actually will be pretty exciting 'cuz this will be the first time I'll get to see the default replacement alien skin that I have in action.

Freeman: After the divorce - Antwone moved out from the old house he once shared with his wife. The divocrce had left him with only abit over 12 000 - he spent that money to build his future mansion. The outside got done, he had a door to access the house and another to access the bathroom upstairs - a bed, a toilet, shower, a microwave and a fridge. Then he ran out of money. It wasn't a mansion yet but it was a start. He was working hard and getting promotions almost daily - which ment he got windows and more furniture. He was also enjoying his new found freedom - he was jugling three different women woohooing a different one every night - and then influensing them to clean up the house afterwords. Which they always did happily. Then Antwone catched the flu. We thought everything was under controll - he was relaxing and taking it easy - but still he died. Even thou he had just become platinum because he woohood his third sim - and only comfort and energy were a quarter short to full - everything else were fully green. That was the end of Antwone.
Tosha and Tamila are doing mentally ok - but financially they are ruined. The flower business is not keeping them alive - well it is - but barely. They don't have any food in the fridge - nor money to buy any. The only thing keeping them alive is the free meal Tamila gets from school (this is why snow days are not a good thing in this family) - and some buayble food which I only put on the counter for them to take some - and then back to Tosha's inventory so it wouldn't go bad. Tamila will be a teen in five days - and would really like to have her own room - at the moment she is sleeping in the same bed as her mother as they cannot afford to buy a new bed - and even if they did - they don't have any space to put it into. So - after struggling and working 24h just to be able to pay the bills - it was becoming very clear that Tosha needs to get a job. Tosh has 8 befor her birthday - hopefully she can earn enough money so they could build an upstairs to the house - and maybe even manage to get the flower shop inside - now it's outside - and the harsh winter we just had was not helping the business at all. It's spring now - in order to redue the grocory bill - Tosha should start planting now - but they can't afford to plant anything. That's how poor they are. So Tosha will close her flower business for now - consentrate on fixing up the house - and continue working on her business when she retires. She got a job in the sience career as a test subject - working hours 10.00 - 17.00. She called the nanny - who said - it seems you'll be out 15.00 - 17.00  . Will Tasha get to work in time or will the nanny screw it up? That I'll find out tomorrow I hope.

Andrews Family
James had his twin alien babies, both girls, named Katey and Kelley. They're purple :D Janet ended up dropping dead soon after (dunno why) but James pleaded with Grimmy and brought her back to life, which made her exceptionally happy since one of her wants had been about being saved from death.

The nanny came in time for Tosha to be able to go to work. Unfortunately her salary was more than what the Freeman household had even after Tosha got paied - so the nanny took all our money except 14 simoleans and Tosha's flower making table. With no money, no food, and no way to make flower arrangement for selling. Tosha had but one choise - and that's to borrow more money from mr. Erwing. She had to take two times 5000 simoleans and her total loan is now 25270 simolean. With this money Tosha build the upstairs of the house so it contains two bedrooms and the bathroom. Downstairs has the kitchen/living room and her flower shop. A few days after the nanny incident - Tamila grew up to a lovely young lady. She's working hard in shcool but is not yet an A student - thanks to harder homework (http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=131960). She is also helping her mother in the flower shop - working on the cash registery and stocking - when ever her mom is too busy. Tosha just got a silver flower arrengement badge - which increased her bukee makins speed remarkably. So I let Tosha consentrate on making flowers - when ever the stocks are running low. Tamila is also mostly in charge of their garden. Thanks to the loan they were able to plant 3x4 rows of grounds. Tamila usually takes care of the plants after school. I also let her get the reward object from the slacker career - I want to know what those plants are like. Now that Tamilal is a teen - Tosha was able to get back to her favorite career - teaching. She's just got promoted from nursery lady to - err - the second level - which is also where she will stay at untill retirement.
It seems I need to start playing this family aging off - I would really like if Tosha would get married to the black head master - and have a kid with him. She only has four day's left before becoming an elderly - and she doesn't have enough aspiration points for the ellixer of life. This would also give me more time for her to pay the loan back. The rule is - if Tosha dies - what ever is left will be doubled and inherited by Tamila. Mr. Ewing is not generous when it comes to his money.

Silverman Legacy:
Tucker, the last of the third generation, died. Nathen McCullough and Anne married. They had a baby boy, Robert. Nathen was later abducted and gave birth to an alien girl, Nira. Giana and Marcel MacCarthy married and had a baby girl, Leia. Giana was so miserable during her pregnancy, and I had to keep a watchful eye on her because she was ready to drop dead any minute. Anyway, she's a Senior Officer (?) now in the military career track. Anne is now a Professional Part Guest, like Marcel, and they go to work together. I'm about to move some people out because it's way too crowded now.

Curious:
Build a house for Pacal Curious and moved him in. Helped him get a job in the gamer career - becuase he's a nerd - he needs to have full logic skills. So I let him have the teaching career reward object - as it lets you study logic - whic is extremely logical and which is why I should download a hack to allow all my books to have this option. He's now one point from maximizing his logic skill - we'll try to do it while it's still autumn so it would get filled faster. He spends all his money on making toy robots - he has no intention to start a shop - but he likes to make them. He's yet to meet his future wife Tamila - but he has met and almost be-friended Tosha.
Miller:
Arwen spend a very relaxing winter taking care of the slacker career reward object plants. It takes for ever but in the end you can harvest the plants - unfortunately you can't sell them. But at least you get a new indoor plant. She went on a few dates with Marv. First Marv wanted to marry her - which was something un-acceptable - then his next want was to engage Arwen - which we accepted. Arwen and Marv are now engaged with no intention to marry. It's kind of funny - Arwen is the family sim and yet she's only once wanted to marry - but that' was only for five seconds - and she's never had that want again. Marv on the other hand is a evil pleasure sim who wanted to engage and marry. Relaxing came to an end when both spring and the postman came. Arwen planted ten cucumbers and ten pole beans - then made a few cakes to sell so she can pay her bills. I let her call the garderning club twice for inspections - I don't want to get money from no-where which is why the reward money she gets from the gardening club will only be used to make her farm more farmy. I bought her two more trees and two flower-thingis. The reward money will never be used to improve her house or buy new furniture or such - only so the farm would get a few more plants and look more like a farm than a flat green err - thing. Spring was very busy - it got easyer when Arwen got her gold gardening badge which allows her to finish her gardening tasks a bit faster. The same day she got her gold gardening badge - her beloved dog Max died - poor little baby. Actually Max had to die 4 times - before ending up dead because every time the grim reeper came - the game would get stuck. sounds were playing and I could let Arwen click where ever she wanted - but everything was stopped. Nobody was moving. In the end I had to remove the folder that contains all the hacks - then it worked and Max finally died. After this - I exited - put the hacks back and continued playing. Arwen got a good harvest on the first day of Summer - but she had no time to relax. After harvesting and a quick toilet/lunch break - she was back fertilzing and planting. with the power of coffee - Arwen spend the night after the harvesting baking cakes - so she could open her bakery again in the morning.
I never plan babies more than knowing approximately how old my people will be when they get pregnant. With Arwen and her farm - i had to use higher math. I can do pregnancy and babies - but toddlers are a fulltime job. So if she wants to dedicate her time to her toddler - the toddler stage needs to be during winter - which means she should get pregnant mid summer. So - second day of summer - Arwen opens her business then calls Marv for a visit. Marv being the most dedicated shopper in Basin City - first buys a pie - then gets Arwen pregnant - then goes to pay the pie in his underwear. Arwen just got her first pregnancy belly.
Arwen had Tosha and Tamila over for a few times. I knew Tosha was depressed - but I always kept her so busy that she never had time to complain. It wasn't untill she was visiting Arwen that I noticed how depressed she really is. During the first visit she just complained and worried about her family - on the second visit she got a visit from the psyciatric and was taking care of a flowerbag baby. Tosha wants to get married - have a baby and her ultimate want is to selebrate her golden anniversaty. Since the beginnign of the game - if I failed to get into private school the first time - the next time I would get the other headmaster - it was never the same headmaster two times. Of course the only time it is the same headmaster was when I was trying to get Tamila to private school - both times it was the same white headmaster - and it's the black one I want Tosha to marry. This is actually why I started to play with Arwen. I'm hoping that Arwen could meet the black headmaster when her kid needs to get into private school - and then she could introduce him to Tosha. Plan B is meetting BJ through Pascal becuase he has a computer and BJ is sometimes online.

My previous Simville got buggy so I deleted it and started over. New town is also called Simville LOL In this town I decided to make a couple of rules. One, only one person per generation (usually keeping it in the family) could be Mayor, Education Minister, etc. Others can be in that career track but not finish it. And one Captain Hero and one Criminal Mastermind, married to each other :D But those two aren't necessarily gonna be kept with-in the family in future generations. Other than that, anybody can get to the top of any career. And I can't remember my other rule LOL
Allen:
Andrew is shaping up to be the town's first Mayor and his wife Anna is on her way to becoming Education Minister. They have a toddler named Brittany and are hoping to try for another when Brittany hits childhood.
Benson:
Brenda will be Chief of Staff when she comes home from work the next time I play her... barring an unfortunate chance card of course. She's single but looking to adopt soon.
Croix:
Charles is hoping to get a job in the Journalism career but hasn't started looking yet. His wife Carla will be a SAHM and is pregnant with their first child.

Well, anyone who's seen my pictures of my.. not-favourite-just-most-preferable-to-play family will know who the Brians are. I haven't put up any more pictures lately because I can't be bothered, in all honesty. Just to sum up the family so far, simply...:
http://img2.freeimagehosting.net/uploads/c900723e1b.jpg
Nate: the "founder" of the family. Went to college and graduated. Married Hayley.. something or other. Gave birth to twin boys and a girl. Re-married and had another girl. He is now an elder and the furthest I have played a Sim as I've never actually played a Sim to elder, to my memory. Has remained faithful to both of his wives (hehe, that doesn't sound right).
--that's the top of a pan ;)-- http://img2.freeimagehosting.net/uploads/4b36ab7d89.jpg
Hayley: the first wife of Nate. Was a CAS for Nate after he came out of college. Gave birth to her 3 children before she died due to having a lack of mechanical skills to fix the dish washer.
--look at the last link to see second wife--
-insert name here-: Nate's second wife. Was an NCP that Nate fell in love with. Has been friends wife Nate since before he married Hayley. Married Nate and accidentally fell pregnant with her first and ONLY child. Is now nearing elder-hood.
(as a teen, not one as YA yet) http://img2.freeimagehosting.net/uploads/0f32f67e61.jpg
Keenan: one of Nate's twins. Grew up and is now in college. Was his younger sister, Jamie-Leigh's only friend as she grew up. Not sure about his plans for after his graduation yet.
http://img2.freeimagehosting.net/uploads/22f3f96b47.jpg
Lee: the other one of Nate's twins. Grew up into a "bad boy" teen and was quite promiscuous. Hated his younger sister, Jamie-Leigh since she became a child until he defended her when they were both teens. Now they're okay. He is now in college with his twin. Not sure about his plans after graduation, either. He might die.
http://img2.freeimagehosting.net/uploads/1abaec9baa.jpg
Jamie-Leigh: Nate's eldest daughter. Grew up badly for near enough every life stage she's passed so far. She had no friends until the middle of high school where some of the opposite sex took quite a liking to her. After becoming pregnant to the police officer that busted Lee for Sneaking Out, she later had a miscarriage which she is still battling through [the emotional devestation]. Still a teen, she is soon to go to college. There's a Sim there I might set her up with and see how that goes. Not sure of her plans after graudation but she might get engaged to the police officer who first impregnated her but have affairs. Police officer will die before the wedding but not before they both have children (have him have children before he dies because he's a good looking NCP -shock horror-).

Camryn: Nate's youngest daughter. Currently still in her childhood. Grew up badly and probably will follow in Jamie-Leigh's footsteps with the "growing up bad" thing. Not sure what is in store for her at the moment. She will probably move in with Jamie-Leigh when both of her parents die, until she goes to college. She might drop out of college, not sure. (The only reason the other 3 are going to college is because I wanted to fulfill Nate's LTW of having 3 children graduate from college.)

(This was taken just before Nate turned into an elder and before Keenan (the one with brown hair) and Lee (laying down) went to college.)
Well... that's what's happening so far!

Carla just gave birth to twin girls (I am so sick of twins LOL) named Danielle and Denise. Charles is on the second or third level of the Journalism career. Oh and I've decided that Carla will definitely stay home but to help supplement her husband's salary, she's gonna paint.

Thank you, IrishGrace! :D In my opinion, it's the best looking family I've created to date, sadly.. which is why I have like several re-dos of Nate running around my neighbourhoods!

I am playing my Lucky Lake Hood.
It is sort of a challenge that I saw somewhere. Where the founder has three kids and each of those kids have three kids until it is finished. I am trying to go for 4 generations (counting the founder) until they are married. Presently I am on the 3 generation where most of them are going to college or almost there.
Virigina (3rd gene) - recently graduated college and got married. Her husband Wren is in Law enforcement and she is working in her home based beauty salon. her parents just gave her some money so she can buy a shop.
Olivia (3rd gene) - just dropped out of college and is living in a little bitty one bedroom place. Once Virigina (her cousin) gets her shop up and running she is going to work there. She is about to get married.
York (Virigina's brother), Opal and Octivia (Olivia's sister's) - are all in college. They all are going to graduate then I'll plan a story line for them.

happycowlover - I had no clue - but good to know. I would love to see the flying to work event - but it doesn't really fit with my neighborhood :/
Miller:
Arwen got her baby while working in the fields - if it would have been a girl I would called her Galdys - but it was not so it's Glade. My calculations for the toddler stage completely blew in my face. He was a toddler during autumn - which was super busy. Tending plants, harvesting, raking and trying to fill the compost bin to ensure next year's compst. There was also pre-fertilizing the ground to speed up the work for spring and trying to run the business. Arwen slept maybe two night in the whole of autumn - most nights she stayed up with the power of coffee to bake. I let her take a 5000 loan from mister Ewing so she could have an indoor bakery and I wanted her to have a shed so we could put all the extra stuff there - so I wouldn't have to sell the toddler stuff and or whet ever we put there -and then buy them later in higher price. With the rules of lending - Arwen's total loan was 10 900 - but Arwen is extremely hard working. She's already payed 2000 off. Arwen's business is now a bakery and cheese shop - a cheese shop so I can sell something even if we can't sell pastries. Arwen has now 2 more berry pies to sell - after that we can't bake anything untill next harvest.
Arwen's task for the day was to introduce BJ to Tosha. Unfortunately thanks to harder grades - even thou Galde went to shcool in an extremely good mood - he flunked to D- immeidately because he had no logic skills. Poor boy was so sad. But supermother Arwen helped him get through it and two days later he was a B student. I was planning to invite the headmaster in the evening of the next day - while Tosha is accidentally visiting at the same time. So 17.11 I call him - I get the text box - which I don't read it just close it. And two seconds later and two seconds later I get a message saying he's here NOW - you better be prepared. He was suppose to come tomorrow. Well - as un planned as this all was - we just had to deal with it. I make Galde greet the headmaster while Arwen called Tosha and Tamila for a visit. After they accepted to come - I go to check on Glade who's still doing the "I cant greet him because the way is blocked even thouse there's nothing but a bit of slope betwen us " dance with the headmaster. There were so many people in the house that every time you tried to go somewhere somebody was in your way - and thanks to a snow storm - every other command was overpowered by - ooooh snow. I dont know how it's possible but I got Tosha and BJ to meet and got Glade to private school - not that I wanted - he's just not one of those kids.
Freeman:
The last time I played the Freeman's Tosha was almost fully depressed and Tamila was doing fine. When I came to play them today - Tosha was ok thanks to the therapist and Tosha was in full aspiration failure - with a fear of running away. I already had noticed her having weird freak-out moments while visiting Arwen when the headmaster was there - thought it was weird but didn't pay any attention to her. I have no idea what brought her down - I wasn't even playing her. Anyhow - I got her happy agian by maximizing her logic skill. Hopefully tomorrow she will finally get tha A report from school. Otherwise the Freeman's are doing fine - building up relationships betwen Tosha -> BJ and Tamila -> Pascall.

Croix:
Carla and Charles got bored and started digging up their yard (and then complaining because everything was messy LOL)... Carla found the maps to all three secret locations for BV... and Charles hit a water pipe LOL
I should be starting a new family soon, and then going back to play the Allens and Brenda Benson again. I tend to play each family for 1 Sim week, ending when the Save Reminder (can't remember where I found it, I think on MTS2) comes up at 8am the following Monday. Then after a few families, I go back to the first and start the next week... it's Friday morning in the Croix family.
ETA: It's now Monday morning again and Carla is pregnant again. The twins are adorable toddlers... can't wait to see them grow up! The house is almost finished, I think... They've added an upstairs with a second nursery (the one downstairs will become the girls' room when they become children) and an office... not sure what else I'll put up there.

My friend made a prediction of mine and my other friends futures (shes a bit mad like that) so i decided to create the story on my sims game (just for laugh) so at the moment my friend abs is married to a mafia man, but having an affair with his best friend (tony tightass) nephew. Then Sonny (her husband) is going to kill the boy she having an affair with and all hell will kick off. In my life however i am an actress and i marry my director but sleep with Daniel Radcliffe (random i no, and i dont even like dan rad) and so my husband divorces me. My friend (who made the prediction) is a lawyer so helps me get al the money (hehe). However i am so upset from the divorce i sleep with my friend boyfriend.(prediction girl laura)Me bad :S and she hates me then. So i move to france and fall in love with an artist but then he dies :(. I have a sad life :((((((. An we made my other friend marry some boy she had a crush on in my school, though she pretends she never and we called him school draco cause he had bleach blonde hair.(lol just made me laugh)

Two new people in Simville:
Daniel Davidson is a Knowledge Sim who's very much into the military career... I'm not sure what I'm gonna do with him, family-wise... he's not the most handsome guy around (his nose is huge LOL) but he may hook up with Brenda Benson.
Erica Earl is a purple-loving Fortune Sim wanting to be a Rock God(dess). And when I say she's purple-loving, that's putting it mildly. All of her clothes are purple (except outerwear 'cuz I hate the purple options there), her make-up and HAIR are purple (she's got the purple slanty hair that you can get after you move a Sim into a house)... and all of the furniture that has the option is purple, or will be. She definitely looks the part of a rocker.

Freeman - finally Ryan :)
Getting BJ worm up to marrying Tosha was extremely tidious - but finally they made it. They had a nice roof raiser wedding even thou they had no wedding arch. She was just too poor. I had this hack that re-modified the careers so you can't search jor sertain jobs without graduating university. It came with a bug that when you searched for jobs with the paper the paper would just dissapear - only after graduating you could search for jobs (downloaded the season version a moment ago - hopefully it works better) - which is why I had to graduate BJ. Unfortunately this set him back to adult - I'm sure he was an elderly before graduating. Anyhow - I set his age back to elder. Even with the aspiration boost Tosha got from marrying - she was still short on aspiration to get the ellixer of life - so I spent quite many days fulfilling her wants that mostly regarded adopting animals - which of course we will not do - not in this household. Thank God she finally started roling some doable things like talk to Tamila. Before marrying her wants were - Tamila gets A+ (which we have still not achieved thanks to harder grades - we'v been A and A- but never A+. Now it's every other day A and then A- and then back to A - we'v been doing this now for a week) - get married - buy clothers - have a kitten or puppy. And these never changed. Finally Tosha got her medicine - aged back from three days to six and I was finally able to type aging off.
The next task to tackle was a baby. They really had to try for baby - as this baby was not wanting to be born. They tried on their wedding night once - the day after five times - but it was the last moment morning woohoo while Tosha's carpool was waiting for her that finaly did the trick. The baby should be born in a day :)
Tamila is doing great - she doesn't like her new stap father - but neither do I. He on the other hand loves hanging around Tamila's room a bit too much - perverted old creep. He doesn't help around the house - or does anything usefull -he just plays golf all the time and goes to work. He's working now as a technition waiting for an opening in the teaching career.
Tosha's "career" is no going so well - she's been de-promoted three times so far - she just got send back to the kinder garden before she got pregnant. She's the first sim to ever get the quit job want -didn't even know there was such a thing. She only has four more days left - she should be able to retire after the baby grow up to a toddler. Then she can dedicate her time fully on her toddler - and when it grows to be a child - she can continue with her flowe business. Now she's just been stocking on flowers - so when she has time to start the business again - she won't run out of stock immediately. I thought I had a bulgrer alarm in the house but obviously I didn't. A few days before the wedding Tosha's flower crafting station got stolen. With the money BJ brought to the house - I bought her for the third and hopefully finall time a new flowe crafting station.
Other Tamila news - she snack out twice during the weekend and didn't get caught. She got her first kiss from Pascall at her mom's wedding which helped raise the party score quite alot.

Today I played the Broke family... which has gotten quite large, might I had! Haha
First, there's Brandi. She's nearing elderhood now, and I was thinking about killing her off but i decided to keep her because I liked the idea of Dustin having to raise his invalid mother, haha.
Dustin is a Vice President now, and quite succesful. He's married too
Juliet, one of my legacy spares, who is a Getaway Driver in the criminal track. Juliet was pregnant for a really long time, (or so it seemed, aha) and she finally gave birth to a baby girl, Marissa, making Brandi a grandmother.
Criss is Dustin's younger brother, he's the sim Brandi was pregnant with when the game begins. I was thinking about killing him off when he was a child, but he was surprisingly good looking when he became a teen so I decided to keep him (I know, I know!)
Amelia is Dustin and Criss's half-sister, and is Brandi's illegitimate daughter from a one-night stand. She's a child, and pretty genetically challenged, so I'm definitely thinking about, er, terminating her when she reaches teenhood. i run a pretty ruthless game, haha.
Seth and Summer (sensing a theme yet?) are from Brandi's second marriage, to the fugly mailman, ahaha. He died pretty quickly, and she gave birth to twins, who unfortunately take after their father. They're only toddlers, but I think I'm still growing to like Summer, so she might make it through the slew of death her family will soon be going through, heh.
And even though they're at maximum capacity, the entire family is still crammed into that teeny trailer! I can't be bothered to move them out, either, hahaha.

Wow claudia, you're such a ruthless player! Have mercy on your poor sims! :Puppy:
Marliss
Noah and Soleil are elders who are always lovey-dovey with each other. It's pretty cute to see them still in love at their age. :luff: I'm planning for Noah to retire from being a Professional Party Guest (why couldn't they just call it Celebrity Socialite?) since working 3 days out the week and going to work at 10 AM is too much of a strain for the old man. LOL Soleil is still trying to get promoted to a higher level in the Medical field. She's been a Specialist forever!
Lucian is a pretty content Family teen. He's got a great boyfriend (yep, he's gay), A+ student, and is doing pretty well in his Music career track. Now, all he needs is more friends; he's such a homebody!
Twins April and August are totally different people. April is a Knowledge sim with a wild side. She goes out and sneaks out more than any teen I've ever had in my game. Her soon-to-be alien boyfriend Europa was invited to her house and suddenly flirted with her. Well, it was either him or her super-hot friend Claude! August is a semi-modest Romance teen. He's dating Asia, one of the cheerleaders at Pandaville High; and Caroline, the new girl in town. At least he only has two girlfriends! He's pretty lazy with no job and a scrubby look to go with his personality.

Well, today I played the Davis family.
For the last several months, Olivia has been sitting around the house, mostly playing with the dog, doing dishes, and cooking for her husband, Ralph as they awaited their baby boy Adam to be born. When the glorious day came, Olivia and Ralph couldn't help but admire the miracle. It was that day that Ralph decided he wanted ten offspring! So a week after Adam was born, they made out to have another child and what do you know! Olivia is big with another child.
Though the couple has had, "baby-fever," for the last few weeks, they've progressed in other areas than family. Ralph finally patched up his relationship with his other two children, Emanuel and Marie, whom are in college. He also left the military to instead pursue his dream of teaching.

Well Amelia and Bradley have been living in their christmas cottage ever since moving to Halliedale. Amelia loves christmas, Bradley isn't that fussed but he'll do anything to please Amelia. She wasn't hoping for much for christmas but got the best present of all..a daughter. She called her Anna. While Bradley loves his new found family, he isn't the same sort of sim as Amelia, cosying up in a cottage away from the rest of Halliedale wasn't what he wanted. He feels spaced out from other sims. Other women. So after some talking, he and Amelia have decided to move to a bigger place after christmas. After all, theres no point staying in a christmas cottege when its not christmas.
Amelia also took this as an excuse to have more children some time. Amelia and Bradley were planning to go on a vacation before moving, to the 3 lakes, once Anna had grown up a bit. But unexpectley Amelia woke up with a bump! I guess the vacation and the move will have to wait. Whereas Bradley is getting increaslingly frustrated and wants to get away. He has now struck up a certain "closeness" with one of his nieghbours, Leah Parker, but this is what he needs, just to keep himself from falling to the floor with a therapist looking down at him.

I started another family in Simville, mainly because Daniel Davidson is the most boring Sim in the history of Simdom and Erica Earl's purple obsession was getting to be too much... I haven't deleted them though. They're still there.
Anyway, my newest Sim is Felicity Fredericks. She's a Fortune Sim with a LTW of Being a Space Pirate. At the moment she's up to Dread Pirate. And I have *never* had a Sim have so many chance cards! I swear she's getting chance cards every time she goes to work! Luckily I've picked the right choice each time but those things make me nervous LOL
After her first week is up, I'm gonna go back to the first families and hopefully play them through 'til they're at the tops of their careers. Simville doesn't yet have a Mayor LOL

Here's a strange one:
I suddenly had a strange urge to make eight stunning girls and try making a house--without walls! Yes, that's what I call "The Great Outdoors Project"--proving that houses without walls can be as good as houses with walls.
So I finally did it, and it's all going well. With the exception of the bathroom (which needs to always be inside walls. If not, the sim will keep shooing everyone.), everything is outside--Kitchen, TV, Karaoke Machine, Bedroom--everything!
One of the inhabitants, Kylie, went under the camera (the pictures can be seen in the Female Sim Pics). It was a good photoshoot, coming up with some expressive photos. Meanwhile, another sim had a bad accident with the dance sphere. The other two were singing duo on the karaoke machine. The other four were fooling around with the bubble blower.
Later, some sims visit the "house", and Kylie happens to fall for this guy with a long ponytail. He happens to be a great drummer, and she happens to be a great singer. So, it's like the perfect match, right? But it turns out that this guy loves another girl...And that other girl is one of the roommates of Kylie.
So, that's everything that's happening in one of my crazy projects. More to come soon.

Felicity Fredericks:
By the time her week was up, Felicity was still at Dread Pirate (last time I wrote, it was Saturday in her world) but should be promoted the next time she goes to work.
Back to the Allen house:
Andrew is a Senator, preparing to become Mayor (IMO this seems like a step backwards LOL).
Anna *finally* got to go back to work after what seemed like forever being a SAHM w/ Brittany. During her time off, she worked on the skills she needed to reach Education Minister so she's plenty prepared.
And then she got pregnant again LOL At least she got promoted so she's one step up from where she was before she had Brittany.
And she got pregnant on Friday before work, so she technically only missed one day of work (Monday) when the newest member of the Allen family, Bridget, arrived.
Brittany did very very well as a toddler, completing potty-training and learning to walk and talk, plus getting to level 10 in Charisma and Creativity and level 6 in Logic... granted, after she got potty-trained, she didn't eat, sleep or go to the bathroom for the rest of toddler-hood... I kept her levels at 100% all the time, only letting them slack off in the last couple of hours before she turned into a child. I *think* she's gonna be really gorgeous as an adult, but cute kids can sometimes turn into ugly teens, so we'll see. Her first couple of days at school have been very good. She's already made a couple of friends!
And the family moved to a bigger (much bigger) house on Monday. Just in time too... a couple of hours after moving in was when Anna went into labor LOL

Ryan:
Tosha's and BJ's son Sean was born. A few days later Tosha became an elderly - they had a combination party of anniversary and Sean's birtday to a toddler. The party went on well - I must have accidentally cliked on the guy who robbed them when sending the invitations because he came and I had no clue he was invited. not many day's after the party - BJ and Tamila got into a fight - BJ slapped Tamila who now hates him 100% - Tosha will not tolarate any violance on her kids so BJ had to go. I thought they would automatically be divorced when he moves out but that is not the case - they are still leagally married - but not for long. Thanks to the anniverary party - Tosha is now platinum - the first one to be that in Basin City.
Tosha's business is doing well. She gets a whooping 76 simoleans pencion every day - which helps at least in knowing that every day she will earn at least that much. Her business is doing quite well right now. With Sean grown to a kid he got the responsibility of taking care of the garden. This leaves Tosha and Tamila more time to take care of the business. Tosha hired a townie called Abjiedsomething to do flower arrengement as he was the only one with a gold flower badge. This of course means he's gay and he's going to be the partner of one of my gay couples when I get a gay sim to the group. Tosha has also been able to pay back part of her loan - it's now 23 770 simoleans. When ever she gets it to 18 000 I'm going to let her have a party :)
Tamila is still not a A+ student - even with the no college obsession hack her want of going to college is not going away - most likely because she had it before I put the hack into the game. Her other two obsessions were a cell phone and a hand hold console - both things she can't afford thus cannot get. Her aspiration was getting quite reddish because I couldn't fill her wants - thank god she changed the gadgets to see a wolf and be a warewolf. The wolf part has been filled a few times now so at least she is not red any more. Unfortunately her college want is going to bring her down seriously when the time comes - I just hope I can give her a good birthday even after the un-avoidable breakdown she is going to get while partying. She still has 6 day's before growing up - that leaves her with only one week to try to get that A+ she has been dreaming of since being a child.
BJ left the household with only 118 simoleans on his name. I just installed the 1x1 lots to the game which actually gives you 300 simoleans when you move a sim to the lot. A bug I think - but I don't mind - otherwise he couldn't afford to move in anywhere. With this money he can then buy a toilet and hopefully a bed. Then he'll start his mission. It always bothered me that the headmasters are unemployed in reality. So BJ's mission is to enter the ducation career and become the headmaster (I hope there is one in that track) at least. I also has this hack that if you be-friend a sim well enough - you can ask them to grow up. So - as I always thought sophie (the black teen in a green tracksuit) is super pretty and has stunning blue eyes - BJ's second mission is to be-friend Sophie, make her grow up and then move her in. His third mission is to get her pregnant. The fun in this mission? BJ is an elderly - so there's a time line to this plan and I need to get these things done before he kicks the bucket.
---edit---
BJ moved to the 1x1 lot which actually gave you 400 simoleans to move in. He was able to buy a 40 napping chair - a toilet one stackable box and a table phone. Somehow the move set him back to an adult - so I set him back to elder - so he started again from 55. After this one townie waitress walked bye - he greeted her - then called Tosha to come for a visit. He ended up in a fight with Tosha after he flirted with the waitress - he won. Then the welcoming comittee came for a visit - it was Marv, Benjamin Long and the blond white chick in pink dress. After greeting them Tosha and the waitress started fighting - people started to watch and I think they somehow blocked their path because the fight went on for hours - it only stopped after kicked everybody out. Then Tosha wins - stops fighting and goes home - while the waitress goes on collapsing on the floor from starvation. BJ begged the Grim reaper to save the waitresses life but he failed. Now he has a very angry and hungry ghost running around his 1x1 square estate. It took almost a week before BJ got 4 walls and a roof to protect him from the weather.
Befriending Sophie was really hard - he knew her 81/37 and still she was not his friend. But eventually it happened - he was able to ask Sophie to grow up and move in. They are now engaged and Sophie is pregnant with their first kid.
Sophie Miguell:
Is a fortune sim who was working as a desk surgent. Suprisingly she immediately had wants to get engaged and marry BJ - even thou he is not rich. She brought into the household 10 000 which was all used to build the second floor and furnish the thing to a livable state. I was hoping she wouldn't bring so much money because then they would have had to survive with BJ's 200 simolean salary and raise a baby in a 6x5 square box. But I let them build a second floor and get some proper furniture. As I don't yet know what Sophie is like - but I do know she's no desk sargent - I made her quit her job. I haven't yet found anything else for her to do - so I'll let her stay home untill the baby becomes a child or BJ is dead - which ever comes first - before letting her go and find a job.
So the BJ plan is going well - for the exception of his career - which doesn't exist - it looks like the Basin City council has stopped recruiting in the education career. BJ is now sixty - usually my none platinum sims live till 65.

I only finished my custom neighbourhood, Pepperville, quite recently but have managed to establish the start of a legacy family.
Nancy Field (Legacy Sim) - She started off in a mini barn conversion, struggled to get a job in the music career but finally did and has completed it. She slept with someone she brought home from her work and now has a daughter, Tallie. Tallie is a child now, since I've been playing this family loads. So whilst Nancy is contemplating starting another job/opening a business, Tallie is prancing around the house in a fairy costume causing havoc lol.
Ceryni Moon - He lives on a 1x1 lot, in a tall 3-story house with a cute little antiques/foreign goodies shop on the ground floor. He's currently struggling for money since the antiques cost quite a lot from the wholesaler lol. He's waiting for the nearest airport to re-open so he can gather stuff from other countries himself (aka I'm waiting to get Bon Voyage for my Mac lol).
Lola VanDeSande - Just moved into her trailor and got a job as a journalist. She made out with a randomer that came to welcome her to the neighbourhood which is weird? It was when they were saying goodbye! Haha. Dirty girl.

I've got a major scandal going on.
There's Andrea, who is a romance sim, that loves to have woo-hoo with whoever shows up at her door. One day the food delivery guy showed up and guess what happened- Andrea flirted her way into bed.
Andrea has a young teenage daughter (aprox. 13 in human years), who looks up to her mum. When the food delivery guy gets up to go pee, Andrea's daughter, who's name is Renee, sneaks in and loses her innocence :wowsers:
Renee gets pregnant and gives birth to a girl, named Zeena. Soon after she follows her mum's footsteps and flirts with whoever ends up at her door. However she gets pregnant again, right after Zeena; she has triplets, two girls, one boy.
Andrea kicks Renee out, leaving fourteen year old Renee alone with three babies. She painfully raises them up to child (after that I hacked my way to adult, I couldn't take it any longer). I placed all of the adult kids on the lot and their future spouses- it went fine, everything went according to plan.
And now I'm working on one of Renee's kid's family. However, Fred, Elle's husband, has the hots for Renee, despite she's an elder. Then they start heating things up...
And ironically, one of Renee's past lovers (he didn't even have a crush on her) walks onto the lot. He sees Renee kissing Fred and he goes beserk.
And that's where I am now.

Tamila grew up - never got her A+ want fulfilled - got stuck on A- for the last few days of her teen life. She did how ever have a wonderfull birthdayparty without a meltdown thanks to her wants of maximizing logic - and getting to points 8 and 9 in mechanical. She moved out the same night after the party - with only 11 simoleans on her account and her furniture from her room. She moved to a 1x1 lot sold her stuff and got to build the foundation of her new house + a toilet, a bed a box and a phone. She spent the next 6 days jumping from job to job trying to avoid having days off - she got promoted in every job she took - which enabled her to have walls in about 4 days. The walls came just in time - it was raining like crazy that day.
Now that her college obsession went away - Tamila started rolling some really nice doable wants - like first woohoo, woohoo in bed, and woohoo with Pascal - which were all fulfilled on her first day. She is the first teen I'v had after discovering hacs - that didn't woohoo when she was a teen - she was always too busy to get around to it. Anyhow - those wants pretty much platinaized her for days - and she kept her platinum status by finally maximizing her mechanical skills. It's about week in - in her new place - she's never been below gold yet - which is something exceptional for my sims. The medicine career finally had an opening - she found the job on sunday - and she had her first day off from work since moving in. Her studio is looking quite nice at the moment, bare but at least we got all the major furniture in place. Now she is saving money to buy a dishwasher, the kitchen is too small for a sink.

I'm currently taking a girl through college - her name is Brenda and her fiance Carl is with her. She has control of the room but he lives with her.
Tonight I was having her catch up on her friendships - wanted to call her mom but the option wasn't there. Did a quick look around the dorm - yep, mom was there and on her way upstairs.
... Uh, what? Her daughter's room is on the first door and just totally walked past her. She walked into the room of a male student and stayed for a few hours. I guess Mom wants a boy toy of her own. Funny thing is - Mom is married to another woman and until this point, had never even kissed a male.
I also believe another male student has a crush on Brenda. He'll just walk up to her door and stand there, staring. Then walk around and his bubble will contain a picture of B's fiance with a huge X over it.

Shane and Zella are having difficulty accepting Heather's partner Robi. Shane cries, and Zella gets upset. It's horrible, can't wait for them to grow up so they can move out. Meanwhile, the Ruben family (Martin Ruben) have twin boys, Rai and Tai.

I had my newly created sim, Dane Morroquinn move in to his first house, and search for a wife. After awhile I got tired of a bunch of teenagers being thrown from the sky every time he asked for a blind date, so I created him a wifey. Her name is Karla, she was very difficult to make. (I'm picky, :p)
Anyway, I wanted them to have a daughter. But no matter how many times I had them try for a baby, they failed. Must be infertile(but really it's probably just a mod conflict, grrr). Eventually I just used inteen on her to have a baby, and it was a girl! I named her Deriqua, and she's currently being used in the Miss Curves contest, because she grew into a teenager just in time.
Great night. Haha.

The Day Family
Dawson Day started out his family in a little farm home on the outskirts of Riverblossom Hills. After his wife died, Dawson decided the move to Bluewater Village would be just the right thing to get his family back on track again. Little Benny was having a hard time with his mother's death, but toddler Jill was just too young to know what was happening.
The youngsters grew to love their new home, while Dawson's eye was caught by the sweetest woman in the Village named Beatrice. The two quickly fell in love with one another and were soon married. The kids took to their new mother very quickly, and Beatrice and Dawson decided that it was time to expand their new family. Beatrice became pregnant with her first child and Dawson's third child. It was a baby boy they named Nathan. Then Beatrice's second child was a bouncing baby girl they named Catherine.
Benny is now a teenager and is taking care of his two younger siblings, Jill and Nathan. Catherine is now a waddling toddler who often follows her daddy's every move. Beatrice works part time in the Journalism Career Track, and Dawson labors over his rows and rows of crops of tomatoes, strawberries, pole beans and cucumbers.
Benny is studying for college, and the Day's are deciding on if they should have another baby. Until I play tomorrow...

My major scandal (because everyone has to have one XD) is getting a bit more interesting.
Drake (Family Sim with a wife, two kids, and two grandkids, I haven't let him age so he's still young) has been having an affair with Alex (Fortune Sim with a husband, one of my many gay couples) for quite a while now. Well this weekend shit finally hit the fan; Alex's husband, Jonah, caught him sneaking a kiss with Drake out in the front yard, and was, well... not pleased, to say the least. There were tears and anger and a fight, and now they've split up and have both moved to new houses; Jonah needed a change after the heartbreak.
So now Drake and Alex don't have to sneak around anymore; Drake's been spending quite a lot of time over at his new place, and I'm wondering how long it'll take for his wife, Tanis, to figure it out... oh and speaking of her, she's pregnant again. Not really the best timing, but maybe it'll turn Drake back into the awesome daddy he used to be and get his attention off of this love affair.

I just started a new family - a "downhome" farm family: Martin & Shelby Montgomery. I'm trying to keep things as legit as possible... no money cheat (I just made enough for the basics then deleted the rest when done), she's a stay-at-home mom and he simply works the crops and fruit trees on their farm. I usually go all-out when buying clothes but I only gave them 5 outfits, pairs of PJs, etc. each, perhaps they'll get more when the money starts rolling in.

Well in my Legacy the heir to the second generation, Lyra Legusé is running 14 businesses. Her mother began a legacy, Lyra is building an empire. She's a sly one, she's been drinking from the fountain of youth career reward and outlived her parents and 9 siblings. (Technically this is because I wanted her as the heir I had to keep her young while the rest aged and died. 12 sims + pets on one lot was starting to lag horribly.)
While running her first business, a Florist's, she met a lovely (married) man named Checo Ramirez. They had a whirlwind affair, he left his wife, and moved into the Legacy home with his daughter Tessa. Many new businesses were started, Lyra had a small fling with Malcom Landgrabb, and everything seemed to be going so well until little Tessa drowned in the pool! Not long after than Checo got crushed by a satelight - I was shocked and amazed, I've never had it happen naturally before! So that left Lyra alone and pregnant with Checo's baby.

I'm finding the Oldies quite fun to play - they live in a beach lot and run a small bakery/bookshop/knicknacks shop. Coral bakes and works the shop floor whilst Herb paints and digs for treasure they can sell. They don't really need the money, it's more of a hobbie for their retirement. Plus it keeps Herb busy and away from the ladies!

Babies...! Drake and Tanis have a new baby, Dorian, who I think I'm gonna give a little age boost to so that he's not younger than his niece and nephew. It's just odd that Drake's grandkids are children in school while he has a brand new baby to look after; I think he and Tanis went through some sort of mid-life crisis where they suddenly wanted a new baby of their own after meeting their grandbabies. At least it's keeping Drake away from Alex (for now).
And on the same night, Xandria and Zerus also became parents to baby Alinia (I posted a couple pictures of her in the pictures section). Oh how I love alien babies. <3 I can't wait to see how she grows up.
Good ol' pedo Ollen finally has eyes for his teen servant... I hadn't been letting them talk, since he's the man of the house and she's just his servant, but apparently chatter at meal time is enough to get them close enough for him to want to flirt with her and for her to fall head over heels for him. I had a feeling this would happen, his wife just became an adult and thus probably isn't interesting to him anymore. 'Jealousy off' is a wonderful option. <3

Just started a new neighborhood called Simland Desert... finally actually made a Sim and played her.
Named Alycia Anderson, she was a goth Sim with a penchant for cleaning. I moved her into a Messie Mess Challenge Lot, 001 Cactus Lane, and she went to work cleaning through all the grime. She got a job in the Adventurer career though never made it past entry level as she didn't have time to do the body skills. Wednesday of the first week, she caught the flu. Being one not able to sit still, especially with most of a disgusting house to clean, she kept cleaning. Thursday night, she died. I hope the next Sim in that house will have better luck than Alycia.
-----
The next resident of 001 Cactus Lane is Arthur Allen. He was successful in clearing up the house and yard and is now working on his Business career (though he really longs to be in the Journalism career, but the job section of the paper is against him aparently). Soon after he finished cleaning his house, he married Brandi LeTourneau, whom he had been seeing casually since she first visited him when he moved in. At the moment, they are trying for their first child but are having no luck.
UPDATE: They FINALLY heard the baby chimes early Monday of the second week!
-----
Moving on to 002 Cactus Lane, also a Messie Mess Lot, we had Blair Benson, a business-loving Fortune Sim. She also caught the flu and died just before she was due at work on Thursday. She had gotten a lot more cleaned in her house than Alycia had, who had worked on the entire outside of the house before stepping foot into the interior.
-----
I decided against moving a new person into 002 Cactus Lane for now and moved on to 003 Cactus Lane, yet another Messie Mess lot. Christine Carter has had much better luck than the other original owners. She cleaned the entire inside of her house and updated all the doors and windows (still has some cheap furniture, plus she has no wall color nor floors LOL). Plus, she met Kennedy Cox (who was badly in need of a major makeover) and they are now living together. And Christine is pregnant. They have no plans to get engaged or married at the present time, but once Baby Surprise grows up, they may decide to do so.

I've just started everything over. Yup my game AND my downloads. I only started playing again recently and the families that i've been playing with were just random. Plus my downloads folder was becoming way too big at over 4gb (it's now 664mb & my limit is 2gb max) so I decided to create a new user account on my PC and start again with some purpose.
I've created a new neighbourhood with SC4 which i've named Heron Lakes and i'm pretty pleased with it up to now. I haven't taken any pictures yet as there are only one or two houses in it so it looks pretty bare.
I've just created my first ever Legacy sim. His name is Akale Figeross, a fortune sim who has just married NPC Carmen All...?? (I can't remember her surname). They have a gorgeous Norfolk Terrier dog named Scruff and Carmen gave birth to a beautiful baby girl named Berlin who will age into a toddler the next time I load my game. (",)
Akale originally fell in-love with a different NPC but when she moved in unemployed, with no skills and only §1 to her name, he swiftly moved her straight back out again. haha
This is the first time i've EVER played Sims2 with proper purpose. I am determined to build up my 'hood and future sub-hoods instead of just playing with maxis made ones and half-hearted attempts at my own.
What is hard though is playing a family without cheats! But I am enjoying it immensely, especially the fact that my game now only takes a few minutes to load :-D
Meet Akale:

I'm trying to find some sense of direction too, I.nfectious. I keep starting half-hearted attempts at building a neighborhood which always results in a flop. I'll get distracted from one project to go over to another, and it's just...ugh. I don't know where to begin. I had a wonderful Harry Potter-esque neighborhood that I loved, but now I'm craving something a bit more modern.
Maybe I should try to scoop all my medieval/magic related downloads into one giant folder and plop it on my desktop. That'd free up space for my modern cravings. Does that sound like a plan to anyone? :)
Maybe I'll look up that Isle of Thyme tutorial to try and get a sense of direction or something...
Also, Akale looks like such a sweetie. <3 I had to say it.

Starfish - lol.. I know the feeling!!! That's exactly how I felt. I have two very different style tastes. One (and my favourite) is a very rural and English countryside/farming style, and the other is more of a modern, city warehouse conversion style. I'm also an avid collector of clutter!!!
That's why I started again with my downloads. (i've still got my old folder because i'm too scared to delete it incase I "need" an item on it... not that i'd ever be able to match a file name to the item though because it's so disorganized)
My new downloads folder is probably so organized it makes me look like some sort of sim freak lmao
It's in 3 parts. The 1st part is located in my game and the 2nd & 3rd parts are on my desktop. All parts have folders and sub folders with the same names. The 1st part has all the downloads i'm currently using or need in my game all the time (obviously), the 2nd part contains all the downloads i'm not using and the 3rd part contains photo's of all my downloads, each photo has the same file name as the item file so it's easyier to locate items I want to add, remove or delete from my game. Phew!
I've just started entering contests too and having my downloads sorted the way they are now makes it a whole lot less hassle when it comes to creating sets and stories

My newest sim Sarah had been on a vacation when she met this very handsome (surprisingly) man - they hit it off very well so, once she got home, she invited him to stay for 3 days. Well, they WooHoo'd that very first night and she got pregnant. After this, his interest in her seemed to die - she was constantly approaching him for affection and conversation... he simply wanted to play the piano (for tips, no less). Well, I definitely knew that the relationship wasn't meant to last when, as his son was being born, he decided it was time to go home! lol

Oh well - she ended up hooking up with a better match (Peter) via the Gypsy Matchmaker and her & Peter's daughter Gracie was just born before I quit the game.

Remember when some of my Sims disappeared because of a bug?
Well, Ralf Zentowski who was married with Jomanda Calburn (she disappeared) had two kids together with her, Jeffrey (disappeared too) and Artemis. Then he married Calista Link (one of the babysitters) and they adopted Rike. Now Calista died and Ralf fell in love with the red haired housemaid, shes called Lucy or something like that (you can see her in the alien picture above on this page)...
Well although Ralf is an elder (63 days) he asked Lucy to move in and she said yes. Because of the game mechanics she is an adult and has 26 days left until she becomes an elder lady. They wohoo'ed and she got pregnant, it will be her first baby but Ralf's 3th biological baby although hes not a romance Sim but one of those who likes science!!!

:C Mostly dealing with horrid glitches! I ended up having to delete a house that had worked for weeks because it crashed my game--once, then again after I'd moved the family out, pulled the house back into my housing bin, and then put them both back. I didn't feel like building a new house, so now the Yalleys live in a fancy modern greenhouse-looking house, which is definitely an upgrade... But I sort of feel like the smaller brick house suited them better.
Also, recently, my favorite toddler Castor grew up (I'm so mad at myself I never took screens when he was a toddler!)--to have an empty portrait in the sim selector. D:< I ended up having to give him new eyebrows to fill his portrait again. I dread the day he grows up into a teenager.
More to the point, my teenage population has been getting out of control to the point I've actually written them all down, boys on one side and girls to the other, to try to see what they were doing romantically. I try to choose the pairs myself, but more and more lately they completely defy my wants and expectations. Edgar Ash and Arcturus Fey I didn't have any particular plans for--actually, at first I thought they might be cute together because of how dark Edgar was, contrasting with Arcturus's gray skin--but as soon as I decided to not pair them up, they went after each other and their wants filled up with "Flirt with Edgar," and "Sneak Out with Arcturus." *shakes head*
I haven't been playing long--only a few weeks, just the base game, with much of that time spent just creating families (I have 15 thus far in my one most-played neighborhood)--so there's not TOO too much drama happening. I did create the Poponopolous family recently, a family of almost completely romance sims, with four teenage girls and swinger parents, so that should stir things up a bit. ;D

Boy is Mr/Miss Moralez's life interesting...!
My resident transsexual serial killer just killed his third victim, which apparently made the Grim Reaper decide to give him a little "present"... so now Edward is the not-so-proud parent of baby Arel, the son of Grimmy, who he has pretty much been ignoring.
Rather, instead of paying attention to his baby, he suddenly had the urge to resurrect one of his victims as a zombie... how fun! So I let him, and now the household consists of not only a transsexual serial killer, but also the child of death, and a zombie living in a tiny little shack out in the backyard.
I really love this house. XD

I started yet another new family - I get bored! lol It includes:
-David: I created him with the hopes of putting him in the law enforcement career and, low & behold, that's what his aspiration was so that worked out very well.
-Sloane: Stay-at-home mom thanks to the actual SAHM career I found yesterday.
-Tyler & Zachary: Twin boys that are about 2 days away from turning into teens - independent, sporty.
-Elizabeth: Just turned into a child yesterday - very serious & prissy
David & Sloane were trying for 1 more baby and she got pregnant on the first try. However, she jumped out of bed last night and had a miscarriage - it seriously shocked me. I've had past sims have them because I chose that option, but this was the first time it happened on it's own.

Meadow Thayer married Merle, one of the twin's from my main family, the Notaro's. They had a baby girl, Meredith (M's!)
The other twin, Lowan, moved in his girlfriend Tosha Go, who is also Meadow's BFF. They all met at La Fiesta Tech. Lowan and Tosha just had a girl too, Annelise. Lowan got promoted to Hall Of Famer and reached his life goal.
Lowan and Merle's little brother Sebastian moved to L'Academie for college, and apparently felt a lot more comfortable out of his family home because instead of hooking up with Natalie Watson his teenage first kiss, he instead fell in love with her brother and his best friend, Neil. Surprised! :D

I'm dealing with incompetent nannies who show up in the middle of the night while no one is out working, and as all good nannies do flood their charges with bottle after bottle. I do not know what is wrong with them.
I amy have to fire every single one and rehire them, see if that does the trick.
Strangetown is flooded with recent college graduates, all vying for the last remain plots of land in town. Good thing there is plenty of space Downtown and in Shopping Land.
The alien-spawned children of Vidcund and Pascal are preparing to enter college.
The Beakers lost control of Nervous many moons ago. After a brief fling with townie Renee Andrews, Loki returned to the love of Circe. They have chosen a life of age-defiance and rock stardom, meanwhile raising a family of five, counting the two girls born to Renee.

So I got two lovers and then she brings home someone from her work and I bring him into the love hottub. She tries to cuddle..etc but he keeps refusing and then the only time when he accepts the other lover sneaks around the house and catches them.
Also Komei who she is turned off by (though they're friends) keeps calling her everday saying he misses her even though she hasn't talked to her other friends either in a while.

I've been having lots of weddings and matching up couples right now. I had just restarted a new neighborhood and have been setting up my families and now the first kids have all gone to college and returned home so I want to start playing out some of the stories I wanted to do in them. Somehow though I always have a couple of my people that seem to just develop into a story all their own. One of the girls was created expressly to be with one of the founding famlies boys but they just didn't click. She fell in love with her college professor instead and I hadn't planned that but sometimes its fun to see what direction the game itsself takes you in.

Hmm, okay... right now, I'm focusing on Strangetown because I wanted to try out my new CC. So I built an average-sized farm with horses, cows, chickens, pigs, sheep and crops, where I forced the sim replicas of my RL friends to live in. It was actually kind of good except that it turned real boring. After playing my overly inhabited Pleasantview, playing Strangetown got boring with barely any drama nor visitors.

My entire legacy family got wiped out in a fire. There was five of them - 2 members of generation 2, Rosie and Abby, and their kids, Emma, Michael (both teens) and Jasmine (a toddler).
A storm set a tree on fire, and Rosie and Michael went mad. Usually they die out quickly, so I clicked away...then realised Rosie was on fire. Sent Abby to extinguish her, and she caught fire, then her daughter Emma died as well. Emma was generation 3 heir, Abby was 2.
Luckily Michael had just aged into a teen, or him and Jasmine would have been taken away.
That's never happened to me before. My legacy failed!
(Well it would have if I hadn't ressurected them with the insim....I hadn't saved in awhile.)

In my game at home - nothing is going on, though there's a lot of planning and preparation going on! :D I can't wait to get home!
Ugh I need to do that because I am dependent on cheats.

Today my sims, Cale and Ramsey Lash, continued to climb the career ladder. For the first time in who knows how long, I've been playing without cheats. So they have to save up money in order to buy a bigger house before they can have kids. But I'll be moving them out later today because they've reached their target of 50 000 simoleons yay~ also Cale reached top of journalism career which was his lifetime aspiration. Ramsey got fat :( but Cale finds that attractive anyway so not so big of a deal i suppose. They might tease her at work though (she's a fashion photographer) >.<

Just started a Legacy with a Fortune Sim named Sterling McMurray. Within the first week, he dug up enough stuff on his lot to be able to afford a small vacation to the Far East, where he met, fell in love with and married a gorgeous Family Sim named Marisa Shahan. I'm hoping they have pretty kids hehe
At the moment, they're starting construction on their dream home.

When I've had the time, I've been playing with the family I made for the Official Contest. Lilith Pleasant is pregnant with twins and has just moved in. Built her a nice room with just enough space for two cribs. I smile, and focus on her for a while, absent-mindedly sending the two adults, Lucian and Daven, off to have some quality time together in bed while I keep her needs up.
The lullaby kicks in and shocks me nearly out of my chair. Gee, thank you Risky Woohoo!
So here's me, trying to find space in the tiny house they live in for that baby. Finally decide that there's no room at all on the first floor, so I have to convert one of the bathrooms into stairs so I can build a second floor. Then I decide to use Insim to sneak peek at Lucian's pregnancy to see how many hours are left before he bumps.
...Natural twins.

Well, I wish I had twins.
Today, I've just artificially aged my 6 children (Alec, Kyle, Ocean, Amy, Alon, and Beth). Three are off to college, the rest remain as teens / a child.
I just got finished with playing through university with Damion + Howard (Damion is their father) and now I am thinking of crafty ways not to have to go through university again so soon ;-; (like university, but I find it really tedious by the end of it)

-I explored the different things you can do with modular stairs. Guess what? You can make a deep hole into the earth! In more words: I tried making a spiral sort of descent down to the bottom with modular stairs. Well, after my last modular stair, the camera would not go down. It must've been really deep. :D

Well what did happen in my game...
I created a new neighborhood called "StravatVille"
I created a new family with eight teens four girls and four boys.
I had to make them all sublings at first in CAS and one boy an adult and be the dad then I bought an empty beach lot and got the InSim tore everybody's relationships apart and made the adult a teen then I mad everybody love eachother I have one sim Go Steady with the other five teens it was a guy sim so he went stead with 4 girls and another guy Romance sim :P.
Anyway, I had to make everybody fall asleep except for the Romance sim (Malvik)
So I had each sim wake up at a different time so he could go steady with them and after he went steady with one I made her fall asleep and the oter wake up XD.
Then everybody woke up when I told them to and I made him make out with one girl.
He got 15 slaps XD. Fun fun fun

I've been suffering chaos in my Regency-era neighborhood, in which I had decided to recreate a Jane Austen novel. After some debate, I settled on 'Pride and Prejudice', built the houses, created the Sims, used InSim to fix age differences...and then the real issues started.
The neighborhood crashed, so I had to transport the three houses and families to the new version of the neighborhood (which still doesn't work well) and start all the relationships over, which creates weird issues with Sim memories. When I was playing the Netherfield lot, I left several of the Sims unattended to concentrate on one relationship. The next thing I knew, Elizabeth was playing pool, Kitty and Lydia were having a pillow fight, and Caroline Bingley was harassing everyone else. I have lots of amusing pictures now, though, including my current icon.
In my other neighborhood (which works much better, I might add), the only thing of import to happen lately was that the Madisons had twins, and the oldest Adler brother grew up.

The McMurray legacy is moving along well, if somewhat slowly. The house is built, but only half of the upstairs is furnished (I have room for a ton of Sims in that house but only have the master bedroom and nursery set up at the moment). The landscaping definitely needs help LOL
The second generation has begun, with a boy named James. He's still an infant though, so it'll be quite awhile before anything exciting happens LOL Sterling is at the 9th level of the Law career and Marisa is staying home with the baby. I haven't decided yet if she'll get a job once they finish having kids.

I decided to get the kids in one of my families into private school, since both parents had rolled up the want. So I invited the headmaster over, started the tour, etc, etc. During the tour however, a friend of the daughter (Sasha) came over, so I had her greet him and let them do their own thing while guiding the tour.
Cue sudden crush chimes. I check Sasha's relationships and find that, despite previously having no chemistry with her friend Robert, she's got a crush on him and they're up to neutral chemistry. This leads to me controlling three things at once: having the mother cook and serve dinner, the father schmoozing with the headmaster to keep him occupied, and arranging for Sasha's first kiss. By the end of the night, Sasha and Robert ended up going steady, and I got the kids into private school (with a score of 147, even). :D

I started a new legacy this weekend. Over time, my neighborhood configuration has developed into one middle class "base" hood (Middleground (http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=260726)), one downtown, one upscale shopping district, and one distressed rural shopping district (Baskerville (http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=240800)). I decided it would be fun to start a multi-family legacy with one founder from each 'hood, who meet as residents of the same dorm in college. The plan was to send them all back to their base hoods once they graduated, so I wasn't going to allow them to flirt with each other (though given those youthful hormones, they all wanted to). But there was nothing I could do to prevent it: by the end of their college years, it was clear the farm boy (Owen, family aspiration) and the girl next door (Jane, family aspiration) only had eyes for each other. One "charm," and he fell head-over-heels. They married right after graduation, and are trying to revive the family farm in Baskerville.
The downtown girl (Brooke, fortune aspiration) age transitioned into the hiker outfit from BV, so I sent her on a post-graduation camping trip before setting her up in a junior executive position on the business career track. She's doing her best to reach her lifetime goal of earning $100K, but her husband Alon (formerly of the gardening club) recently lost his job as a law clerk and has decided to go into business for himself...as a cosmetologist. Sadly, he has no skills, so he's borrowing Brooke's execuputter to build up some charisma to help with sales and studying cleaning to make badge-building go a little faster.
Finally, Mason Stone (fortune aspiration) has moved into a bachelor pad at the run-down edge of Stone Beach. He seems to think he's a romance Sim, since he never rolls a get engaged/married want on a date. He even shrugged off the Nightlife diva, which I thought was a mixed blessing (he did roll the "marry a rich Sim" want, which I could have used as an excuse to marry them off, but he has the best genetics of the bunch and frankly I didn't want hers in the gene pool at all).
No second generation yet. I'm so in love with these guys that I want to turn aging off, yank Risky WooHoo out of my downloads folder, and just enjoy their lives...but it's a legacy, and the whole point is moving through the generations.

My second generation heir,Matt, has fallen in love with Meadow Thayer. His best friend Tosha, hates Meadow but his family loves her.
His little brother,Micah, is a weirdo with no friends.
His sister,Michelle, who has moved out is married to a loser.
Michelle's daughter Samara just aged into a child. At the party her grandfather,Logan, and her father,Derek got into a fight. Grandpa won.

The McMurray legacy is the only thing I'm playing at the moment.
Sterling is this.close to getting the final promotion... he just needs a couple of skill points (the last ones are always the hardest lol); Marisa is pregnant again, due in the next 12-24 hours I believe; James is a gorgeous child, takes after his mother in every way except hair color LOL He just grew into a child on Friday and it's Sunday so he's not had a chance to get grades, etc. but I'm hoping he'll be a good student. He certainly is helpful around the house, but not in the annoying way a lot of kids born in my game are.

Diana just died in a pool accident at university which is a shame since she is one of the most beautiful in-born sim I ever had.

I actually have started to stop on Pleasantview (Irony inorite), instead, I've started a new neighborhood called 'Townsend.' This is based off of my favorite terrain ever <3 made by 'Erwinsims' @mts2. :]

Everytime I load her, her skintone was different from the one I made her with. She was actually fine until I had her adopt a dog. After she adopted the dog she wouldn't keep her skintone
I did everything i could including getting rid of the dog, deleting the hacks and CC I had, reloading the neighborhood, but no solution :weep:

In the McMurray Legacy:
Sterling *finally* made it to the top of the Law career. He's about 2 Sim weeks from becoming elder. In the free time he has now since he doesn't have to do skill points, he takes care of the two orange trees in the front yard. I'll eventually get around to building a greenhouse, etc. so they'll have a veggie garden.
Marisa is still at home but will be getting a job as soon as Jessica is in school.
James is 3 days from becoming a teen, where he'll get a job. I think he'll be a money Sim like his dad. At the moment he's on summer vacation (some mod I got on MTS2) so he spends most of his time practicing piano and playing video games.
Jessica is the child Marisa was pregnant with during my last update. She is now a toddler who looks exactly like her dad except hair color (she's the complete opposite of James). She's doing well but I'll be so glad when she turns child because she's a bit of a bratty toddler LOL

I've played Pleasantview today and yesterday. It's a newly opened Pleasantview.
Lothario: Don woohooed with Dina, Nina and Kaylynn and kissed Benjamin Long (who he brought home from work). He's not really gay but as long as he gets woohoo he is pleased. He also partied in his house with some townies......
Burb: Things are not going too well between John and Jennifer. Little Jessica Burb was born yesterday and Lucy is a teen in one day.
Oldie: Herb and Coral just moved in. They had an anniversary party and Lilith and Angela quarreled all the time during the party.
Roseland: Cyd moved into one of the small white mediterranean houses in Pleasantview and he got a job in the medical career. I set his gender preference to male and gave him a makeover. He is looking for a partner........

I've had a productive day (not over yet either - planning on continuing well into the night!)
Antonio Monty and his two teenagers have moved out of their two bedroom shack into a slightly more inspiring and spacious house thanks to a $20,000 bonus from Antonio's work. (don't you just love those big bonuses?)
Pascal Curious' daughter is nearly a teenager, and meanwhile Vidcund was abducted by aliens as well and is now the proud father of Katalin Curious. (who looks significantly more normal than Pascal's daughter - I think it's probably because Pascal's wide narrow eyes don't transition onto alien babies as well as Vidcund's smaller eyes, still we all know how much babies can change as they grow up!)
Don Lothario has just become an elder - a bit of backstory required to explain the chaos that is the Lothario household: Don had Nina move in and they had a daughter, Tina Caliente, who is currently a child. Don also had the maid Kaylynn Langerak move in, and they have a son, Sebastian, who has just become a toddler. I'm planning on at least 2 more children, probably from Kaylynn since she has the "family" aspiration, although it will depend on how long Don lives for since he didn't have a very good aspiration meter at his age transition. (don't like using life extending items much either, although I may do if I have to) He's not actually married to either of them, and Nina stays at home to look after the children. Jealousy is a major problem though as you can imagine!
And in more minor news, Jane Stacks finished at university and now lives in Pleasantview, and Nervous Subject has his own place in Strangetown, although he didn't have much money left for furniture so it's fairly bare. He's working as a janitor right now!
I don't like making my own families; that probably seems strange to most people here but I actually like to see what I can create from the Maxis made sims, townies and NPC's included of course.

I actually haven't created a single sim in CAS since I restarted by neighborhoods the first time. All are either Maxis sims or born in-game. Partially an effort to keep my population down (I play each house in turn to keep them synchronized and that can take a while - plus there's the issue of space) and partially because I find my own sims a bit dull.

Well sometime a while back shortly after having his unwanted Grim baby, Arel, Edward Moralez decided he wanted to make a zombie out of one of his townie victims. I was unsure of it at first but I let him do it (it was Amin Sims, btw) and I'm so glad I did, because he is incredibly amusing and gives Arel someone to be friends with, because Edward hates everybody.
While he was still a child, Arel had a couple of different nannies, both of which wound up having "unfortunate" cowplant accidents. Recently Amin decided he wanted to turn one of the nannies into a zombie too (Karen something) which I found amusing because they'd hated each other; I wound up letting him resurrect her and the two of them did NOTHING all day except poke and shove and fight and attempt to gross each other out. It wasn't long before Karen wound up having another *ahem* "accident" with the cowplant, and now whenever he has nothing to do, Amin makes his way over to her grave and laughs at it for hours. XD
Arel's now a teen and he and Amin are best friends; judging from their conversation topics, they seem to be plotting against Edward now... not that I can blame them, really, he's pretty evil.

I'm thinking about making a themed hood. Maybe Victorian...? I was at All About Style looking at everything and it made me want to try that. Only problem is I'm not good at making houses, especially themed ones, so I dunno how that's gonna go. Plus, I have this one legacy I'm working on right now and it's actually going well. I am thinking in open a new fresh hood without townies to start fresh with only the sims I choose. My first hood is so messed right now and all those townies really annoys me because I am tired to see the same old faces walking around. I also want my sims to be friend with each other and not with one thousand townies that I will never play. I am considering this idea, I know is a huge task but I believe will improve my gameplay.

I am currently doing a Legacy...but I cheated a bit. I gave 'em a 50,000 dollar inheritance to get 'em started, and an old, but large home to renovate. The founder is my self sim, named Christobel Oldman. Her spouse now is Gary Oldman - I dl'd a Sirius Black from MTS2, adjusted him a bit, and spent a day or so getting them together. They've just had their first child, a girl named Selene, and are working on the house. Gary is a Knowledge Sim who's doing fairly well in his career. Christobel is a Drill Instructor, but hasn't been to work in forever. The vacation pay helps out, though. They'll have another child once the house is liveable and the baby is older.
I also have a Jones family - brother and sister, living in a dollhouse of a place, trying to make it in a new town. Sarah wants to get married, have babies, and raise dogs, apparently. Mitch is a fortune Sim who wants to rule the world - lol. I'm not very happy with the lot, as it's got modified mailbox and trash bin, but it's laid out well so I think I'll keep it.

Jacob Martin-I'm going to send Jules,Sandra, and him to college toether. I plan on making Jacob catch Sandra cheating on him and have them break up.Then get him and Jules to get back together.

I had forgotten that Clarissa'a Aunt Beatrix (Gen 2 spare) had gone on a date with him one (her LTW is 50 first dates) so afterwords she ran downstairs and slapped him silly. Now she hates both Wyatt and Clarissa, and she used to be best friends with both.

She was a spare anyway and was getting kind of tiresome to play. Actually, Clarissa'a mum Cheryl hates them both as well now, and keeps wanting to slap and poke Wyatt. But she gets to stay alive because poor Byron (gen 2 heir, Clarissa's dad) would go squirrely if his wife died.

Rose Barthelet (University campus townie-student thing) has spent today attempting to satisfy her lifetime want of woohooing 20 different sims. She's managed 5 so far, and she's only just graduated. Incidentally, she is engaged to her first lover, Sim State University sim Jimmy Phoenix. He graduated quite a while before her and moved back to Pleasantview, and since then Rose has gone on to acquire 4 more lovers. 2 of whom are people she met randomly, 1 is one of the animal mascots, and the fourth is a guy who streaked through her house and she managed to accost and conduct a lengthy conversation with, all the while he was not wearing anything but his birthday suit!

In my main playing neighborhood, the Carter family continues to grow. It started with Sonya and Patrick Carter. They had two children, Lauren and Michael. Michael was born well after Lauren graduated from college.
Lauren married Geoffrey Landry, and they had several children-- Lucy, William, Iris, and Thea. Michael married one woman (can't remember her name) who died while pregnant. He remarried, this time to a woman named Kari, and they have a child together named Isaac.
Lucy grew into a cute but nerdy woman, and she married a nice-looking guy named Zack Sims. William became a crossdresser. He moved in with Lucy when he became a teen and got joined with his boyfriend, Pao Stratton. Iris is a child, and Thea is a toddler. Isaac is a toddler as well.
In my other playing neighborhood, less is going on. My Sim-Self is married and at the top of the journalism career. The Foley-Cloud family is doing nicely-- Ophelia just had a baby girl, Ruby. And the Nuesto mafia is growing by leaps and bounds.

I just started a new neighborhood - back in December, I decided that I wanted a Regency-era neighborhood, but it kept freezing and taking eons to load. I tried transfering the three families and houses that I wanted to keep to yet another neighborhood, but no luck. So I deleted and have had to start from scratch with the Regency stuff. So far the new neighborhood is working well.
Yesterday, though, I got bored and Simmed all the major characters from 'Sense and Sensibility', in order that I might have something to start the Regency neighborhood with. Yes, I'm a nerd.
Sim-Edward is absolutely adorable, if I do say so myself. I played with the Sim-characters today for a bit, but had to quit and do something else before anything extraordinary happened.

Right now I'm mostly doing contest junk  but aside from that, my favorite famiy- the Naruses- are doing really well. Kioko just got a job in gaming followed by a couple promotions, her wife Ella is sort of just loitering around the house at this point, mostly because up until last Sim-night she was taking care of their toddler daughter Chika (and sleeping all day, because she's still exhausted from baby-rearing... Chika's pretty self-sufficient, thankfully). But Chika just had her child birthday and is still running everywhere... her big sister Veronica (who's adopted) just reached the top of the teen Education track and already had straight A+'s in school, so she'll hopefully be getting her scholarships soon, although I might keep her in the house a little longer so she can develop a love interest in David Ottomas :D (I gave him a makeover and minor surgery, and he is sooo cute now!) Anyway, I'm waiting to play them again until I install Free Time so that Chika can start doing ballet and Ella can develop a hobby to take up her spare time.

After FINALLY getting Nightlife, pretty much all of my Sims are quitting their jobs and going out and partying all the time. XD
I've mostly been playing the Moralez family lately, specifically Arel Moralez, who's become the most rebellious teen I have. He fights with his father constantly (and wins!), cuts class, and stays out all night with all sorts of people. He's acquired a boyfriend, that ho Ricky Cormier, mostly because I'm tired of him turning all my male teens gay. >_> I plan on having him grow up when Arel does and moving him in with him so that he's under my command. They work together well, though they're both cheating on each other with other guys, but that's to be expected. XD

Nothing is going on in my game, seeing as everything got deleted. All my families, my hoods, the CC, all the sims I had made in bodyshop... :(
I'm almost happy about it though. Start fresh and whatnot. Now I just have to make my self sim again (which took ages to get right). Sigh...

^Oh my, that is horrible! I lost everything last night, while I was sad that I lost my legacy, it was fun to start over.
In my game I am playing my extras from generation 2 of a legacy I'm doing...Marrying them off, giving them families, etc.

I've got several families going on right now:
Prewitt/Long
Keeley kicked Benjamin Long out after he knocked up the new girl in town (a Sim I created to test out some new FT stuff). Their oldest daughter Annalise headed off to college and graduated with Honors from the Math department, and now she's living on her own and just adopted a kitten named Phoebe (cutest thing EVER!) Keeley and Ben's other daughter Vivienne is now a teenager and decided to age up Marsha Bruenig, Orlando Bertino, and Chandler Platz. Let me tell ya, Marsha and Orlando are hotties as teenagers! lol!
Bruenig
Annika Dugan married townie Toby Bruenig and made two beautiful babies: Aurora and Dawn. Annika is working the flower/produce shop that her mother started, and it's now a Level 10 shop! Annika is getting bored with constant gardening though and is going to be an elder soon, so she may try out a new hobby...

Getting away from the Moralez house for a bit, I've gotten myself re-interested in Damon Dawson and have been playing him quite a lot lately. He'd moved in with his girlfriend after becoming an adult, but I never really liked her so the house was boring and I never played it. After seeing him around on a few community lots, I decided to move him out into his own place downtown and give him a new roommate.
So Damon moved downtown and began living with Seth Oleande... and the oddness began. No matter how many girls I have him check out, Seth will not stop thinking about Damon. He's becoming rather stalkerish, he'll just stand or sit somewhere and watch him and think about him.... and then suddenly he rolled a want to buy love potion. Oookay... so I let him, and he hasn't used it yet, he's just continued to be rather creepy in this obsession he has with his roommate.
Well last night, I was at a club with a different Sim and noticed they were both there dancing separately... until Seth apparently realized Damon was there too and stopped to stare at him, as usual. After a while of this I guess he finally got up his nerve; all of the sudden I looked over and they were making out! Oookay then! I hadn't meant for them to get together (Damon still has his girlfriend and they don't even have any chemestry together!) but if that's what they want, then it's cool with me...!

I started a new neighborhood and in it, I started a new Legacy family... it's not a strict Legacy as I started with two CAS Sims, gave them enough money to start out with their dream home and I'm using a few cheats here and there. Really it's only a Legacy in that I'm going to have one heir per generation and hopefully make it to 10 generations.
Anyway, meet the Westfields, Richard & Joy. They are a Fortune & Family household with Aspirations of becoming Mayor & Education Minister respectively. At the moment, they have no children because they would like a completely finished estate before the next generation arrives. Which means they'll both be working first, and they'll likely be working parents as well. I absolutely refuse to use nannies, so it should be interesting trying to figure out a schedule so that at least one parent is home through infancy & toddler-hood.

Playing around with my new Nightlife expansion. But other than that...
I started a family of a husband and wife and built a small little cabin. They then took a lone from the main family of the hood and built a greenhouse and started to farm. So far, they're on their 4th crop and have a young child now, who's home schooled.

The Westfields are expectant parents! Joy came home from work and decided they should celebrate her getting a promotion because she got someone fired LOL So celebrate they did! Thankfully it's Friday so she'll only miss 1 day of work. Richard will be a stay-at-home dad 'til the kid is in school (government jobs are seemingly scarce in their small town so he hasn't been able to find work yet). And Joy is high enough in her teaching career that she's earning quite a bit, enough to pay for the small cosmetic details that need fixing in the yard.
ETA: Richard & Joy are now the proud parents of a bouncing baby boy named Robert! :D

I've spent my time today so far in Pleasantview.
Bella Goth is back with Mortimer, and they've rebuilt their relationship, although I think Mortimer only has a few days left to live unfortunately.
Meanwhile Lilith Pleasant, Dirk Dreamer and Lucy Burb who is friends with Lilith have moved to university together. Angela has also moved, by herself, because the only person who really likes her is Dustin Broke who didn't go to university - I didn't think it would fit too well with the Broke family image!
Herb and Coral Oldie have moved in with Daniel and Mary-Sue Pleasant (who are both elders themselves now) to occupy the space left by Angela and Lilith's departure. (and because I'd probably never bother playing them otherwise)

Spending most of my time clearing out my CC. I just bought FF and GL, so along with HM and CS, and all the expansion packs, I thought it was time to wipe out all the stuff I don't need/use in my downloads folder. Once that's done I'm going to redecorate my Legacy house with some luxury items from GL, seeing as they're on to gen 5 I think it's time they started looking a bit more wealthy!

In the other town it's s hodge-podge of growing up, graduating from college and going to college.

Kreuger:
Freddy was living a quiet and stable life running his booze shop, flirting with his shop assistant Sandy and going out every once in a while. He eventually asked Sandy to move in, which she happily accepted. They spent the 7000 simoleans she brought in to fix up the third floor to a livable state, and changing the smaller bedroom to a nursery - as it didn't take Sandy long to get knocked up. I suppose the game was never designed for having your own employees move in with you, because Sandy had to go to work for 8 hours a day - and earning 0 simoleans for her trouble, even thou Freddy was her boss and she was living in her work place.
I finally found the perfect beer for my sims
http://paysites.mustbedestroyed.org/booty/pandorasims/beer/
It raises their social, fun quite a lot + hunger a bit. The best thing is that after that, they do the craziest beer related activities, like spontanious hugs or fights. Sandy for example was drinking one day even thou she was pregnant. After the first beer, she walked outside, took out all her clothes, and started cheering in the nude in mid winter. Then she walked back to the kitchen still in the nude and drank another can of beer, after the second one she walked down to the booze shop and attacked Freddy, only after the fight was over did she put on her clothes. She shocked a few customers in the process but gave me the best laugh ever.
Freddy added cigarets to his shops inventory, you can't sell booze without cigs.
Due to a fight Freddy had with Sandy (another one, not the one I explained above) Freddy's relationship with Sandy was belov zero. So one random day Sandy found him flirting with some white chick, after that day they both hated each other. Sandy gave birth later that day to a boy she called Drake. The moment the baby was out of her, Sandy put it on the floor, packed her bags and left. She wants to party and have fun, not a baby - which made Freddy a single dad. Freddy turned out to be a good dad, well all tha diaper changing, bathing and feeding makes you automatically a good parent without even trying. The kid survived (so did Freddy - but he wouldn't have made it without the beer and it's fun/social raising abilities) and is now a child, he's currently growing marijuana in the back yard shack. Not sure will the crops survive because the special lamp costs 2000 simoleans and they can't afford it yet. I'm so turning Drake into a drug dealer when he's a teen + have him join a gang.
I had completley forgotten that if a couple is not married the kid gets the mother's name. I Found a hacked painting that should do the trick, hope it still works. I really would like the Kreuger name to carry on - instead of Sandy's boring maxis name.
Ryan:
you can't have a city without a bit of racial tension and hatered.
A few days before the big nude fight, Freddy accidentally shot BJ Ryan when BJ entered the shop, he explained to the cops he mistake it for a robbery becuase BJ came after closing hours. Basin City cops are not notrious for their ethics or quick wits, so no charges were ever lifted and the whole case went away without even a footnote in the morning paper.
After the shooting I went to check on Sophie - BJ's fiance. I found her upstairs having a full time nervous breakdown. Not that I can blame her, she just lost her fiance, she's pregnant and she doesn't have a job.

Life in Montridge (my first custom hood) is at a stand still. I basically just made Sims of characters from my own stories. Instead of actually playing, I shoot story pics in there. I've got my next chapter written, but not real happy with it.
I had a legacey family, but I always get bored after gen three, if some computer glitch doesn't get to them first. I deleted that neighborhood last night.
Currently playing a black widow challenge while I'm suffering writers block.
I cloned one of my story villains, so it's a black widower challenge in my case.
Last night I got to play. My black widower just moved in wife number two (Jan Tellerman) and bought a new puppy. It's fun actually just playing and not worrying about setting up a scene.

The Westfield household is doing quite well... Richard has maxed out his charisma and is nearly there with creativity as well... I can never remember exactly what the gov. job needs when I don't have anybody in that job, so I hope those are two of the ones he needs LOL He doesn't have a job yet but will soon (I hope). Joy is a High School principal and Robert grew from a sleepy infant to a very fun-loving toddler to a very hyper child (he runs everywhere... seriously). I don't think he's gonna be going to school much because it's the weekend now, well Friday night, and Spring is almost over so after that he'll have summer vacation... ugh... all that time with him in the house... I hope he gets more mellow as a teen and adult LOL

Miller:
Arwen and Galde continue to run their farm and business. Glade just turned into a teen and Arwen to an elderly. She's still so pretty while elderly, but I want to find her some long black custom hair that will stay black even as an elderly.
They are working now on expanding their business to include a bookstroe upstairs. It's now only a one bookshelf bookstore with no walls - by the time it finishes I'm hoping its a multiple bookcase bookstore + a few more expensive individual books. It's summer now so they hopefully will have time to build up the upstairs walls before fall comes. Arwen was not planning on expanding the business, but Glade is very much into books and culture, and because he's a teen now, he can help in running the business so Arwen decided to go with the plan.
Arwen managed to reduce her loan with another 900 simoleans, it's now down to 8000 - so there's still a long way to go before they are debt free.
At the moment I'm not very pleased with Arwen's bakery. Most of the income at this moment is coming from cheese :/ that I downloaded some time a go. I'm trying to keep her products organic so that se doesnt buy any food from the shops, only uses her own grown products. At the moment they have 32 squares of land to farm, I think I'll double that and delete all cheese from the lot.

I have a bunch of families, like Montridge up there, who are basically imported from my writing, although once I put them in Rorschach Heights, I mostly released them from their responsibilities as characters. Mostly.
The Kaminari family is pretty much my busiest family right now, a Japanese-American family with four kids and married parents. Maya and Kenny, the very oldest and youngest, are doing basically fine, but Danny and Ryan are on the downward spiral. Danny is now enemies with Ryan, both his parents and Maya, and Kenny is due to grow up into a teenager in a day, so I don't doubt he'll be harassing him the minute his birthday party is over. Danny has already seen the social bunny five times by now, and Ryan has seen it twice--neither of them are well-liked in the neighborhood, especially not Danny, since they're both the type to autonomously insult and annoy the peasantry/townies and whoever else comes their way. Danny's also randomly attacked Terry Laredo, the nice boy from down the street who said hello to Maya on her way to the carpool.
Basically, I won't be surprised when Danny runs away from home. Ryan is currently an A+ student (which goes against canon Ryan), but since he won't autonomously do his homework, and I'm not entertaining any ideas of helping him...

Uni drama.... I think it's safe to say Arel Moralez has become my favorite Sim. XD He moved to college and decided to bring both of his boyfriends with him, and he didn't even make it one day before being caught; the two guys have spent their entire college experience since then fighting with each other and becoming enemies.
While they've been busy killing each other, Arel's been busy getting close to a certain count he met as a teen... I think the fighting has annoyed him, because he suddenly stopped caring about his boyfriend and ex-boyfriend and instead became infatuated with said count. Needless to say, he's now a vampire; thankfully I'm not opposed to cheating because he would have failed college without the college adjuster.
Now I'm debating over whether or not I want to make him a knowledge Sim to get rid of the wants to be cured... I probably will eventually, I don't think I can handle a pleasure Sim forever, they're too repetative. I'd miss his addiction to expresso though.

Westfield:
Richard is an intern and very nearly maxed out all skills needed for the gov. job. He also got electrocuted the other night while trying to repair the computer LOL Which I think has messed with his brain a bit because he complained loudly of having to go to the bathroom and before I could click on the toilet, he decided instead to go play chess :doh
Joy is now a College Senior Professor (something like that)
Robert came home from his first day of school with an A+ already! Oh and he earned $200 for being so creative
The backyard is very nearly finished... just gotta finish installing the pool and set up the garden. After that, the entire house will be completely finished :D

ETA: What the hell just happened? Joy was upstairs working on charisma; Richard was upstairs in the bathtub; and Robert was upstairs asleep... all of a sudden I hear the sounds of the video game starting up in the livingroom... Well at the moment I've just started my Victorian themed neighbourhood up, so there's not a lot happening there. I've created two families, the Quinns and the Malifers, originally the Malifers were supposed to be a servant family, but since I had waay too much fun decorating they quickly moved up to middle class xD Now I just need to figure out what sort of jobs they'll be having (and create a new family to be servants (plan is to always have one member of a certain family work as a servant for someone)).
I've also researched wages and taxes, rents etc. So I suppose my neighbourhood will have an integrated economy of sorts (though we'll have to wait and see how that goes). Now that Simpe's updated I can do some updates to my terrain in SimCity 4 and do some terrain surgery. I need to make room for a pier for my sailors, some land for my farmers and a university campus (before you ask; yeah, I'm an avid fan of Isle of Thyme, Gnomesby and Windlebridge...)
Anyhow, I've spent far too much time decorating both the Quinn's and the Malifer's houses, and I'm not done with them -_- Didn't get a chance to play today so I've made some sims in Bodyshop and such.
Oh and I killed of Johan Quinn's wife Caroline and hooked him up with Mariella (a far younger lady, approximately four years older than Johan's oldest daughter Madeline). Johan and Mariella spent most of their time arguing with each other (I had to take some breaks while decorating), then all of a sudden they flirted, then at "dinner" neither wanted to talk to the other and kept looking away from each other. Fiona, Johan's second oldest daughter, doesn't seem to get along with Mariella either, Madeline has avoided both her dad and Mariella and the youngest one, Theresa spends her days practicing playing piano. Or talking to Madeline... I've got a feeling it might evolve to become an interesting family once I get to actually play them :)
Oh and I also need to figure out a name for my neighbourhood, right now it's just named Harmonia after the Greek Goddess of harmony and concord... "City of Harmonia", "town of Harmonia", "Harmonia's Hamlet" all sound a bit odd but eh... I like the name Harmonia, even if it doesn't really fit a town/city/thing xD

Robert grew up into a teen... I think hopefully he'll turn out to look like a good mix of both of his parents. When he grew up, he also took Marsha Brueing (something like that) with him. She is GORGEOUS as a teen. I don't think I'll do much with the two of them, relationship-wise 'til they're adults. They're best friends now, so they'll transition easily to crushes and lovers when they get to be adult (those types of relationships seem to not carry over if one grows up, even if the other does as well... very annoying).
Richard is doing well in his career, as is Joy.
And their house is completely finished now :D The three of them spent all summer fishing LOL Their fridge is totally stocked with fish for a good long while.
Seriously, I can't wait for Robert and Marsha to grow up 'cuz I totally want to see what kind of babies they'll produce LOL

Rowan is busy sewing and looking after Henry, the youngest. He just turned into a toddler and she already wants another baby...
Zoey Jane turns into a teen in one day. She's getting good grades and loves sports.
Twins Jack and Jill share an interest in music and dance. They practice ballet, piano and violin together and both have a want to be BFFs with each other.
Sutton - Jeremy enjoys tinkering and spends most of his time working on his car and getting promotions so he can marry pregnant Alexia.
Alexia aged into an adult and moved in with Jeremy. She promptly got pregnant the first time she had woohoo is now has a want for engagement and for a baby.

Ryan:
Tosha is overly working on her business, her comfort was always too close to red than to green. Her son (can't remember the name) grew up to a teen and moved out - so did Tosha. She bought a small house just one lot from her old house. I wanted her to still keep having a business, but not a home business, but a seperate business. So I build the lot so that the house and the businessa are now on the same lot, but they are seperate buildings.
I just downloaded some eatable chocolate from Parsimonious - maybe I'll let Arwen have a bakery/chocolate/book shop. I'll have to toy around with the idea because I don't have a clear view on how to develope Arwen's bakery.
I love how in Tosha's son's birthday, Glade autonomusly checked Abj***something out - did the wolf whistle flirt. And Abj*** was thinking about Glade constantly. Abj*** was invited becuase he works in Tosha's flower shop, and I was hoping that he would get to know Glade, but I had no idea they would do it by them selfs.
On another note, I finally managed to catch up with this thread and am now fully updated :)

Westfield:
Richard is moving up the career ladder fairly quickly. He's got all the skills he needs (he maxed them out) and at the moment is in the middle of writing his first novel.
Joy made it to the top of her career and is very happy. She spends her free time working in the greenhouse and maxing out the rest of her skills.
Robert's LTW is to be at the top of the Criminal career... ironic because Marsha, the one I've chosen for him to marry, has a LTW of being at the top of the Law Enforcement career... I love it when it works out that way LOL
At the moment, Robert is at the top of the teen part and will be there for awhile because he's still got quite a few days left 'til he turns adult.
Richard & Joy have about a week and a half 'til they both turn elder (I think Richard is one day older). I think they'll probably keep working 'til death unless they get the want to retire. Since Robert is already on his chosen career path, Marsha will stay at home with any kiddies they might have 'til they're in school.
-----
UPDATE: Sadness in the Westfield household. Richard caught a cold and, since I have a hack that makes Sim illness more realistic, it turned into a SUPER COLD, and the second after he got home from work after being promoted to Senator, he kicked the bucket :( He was 8 days from becoming elder and one or two levels from becoming platinum :(
In retrospect I probably shouldn't have let him tend the apple trees while he was sick... oh well. His gravestone now resides in the back corner of the lot, which is my designated spot for the family grave yard... until I get into the later generations in which I may have to move to a cemetary in the town. Actually, I may do that now, as ghosts seem to slow my game waaaay down.
Joy & Robert are completely devistated. Joy now has a fear of "growing old and having never been married" which is weird because, obviously, she was married to Richard. I dunno... we'll see what happens when she gets to be elder. But seeing as she's platinum, anytime a fear is realized, it bounces right back. Robert's not so lucky and is very much in the red at the moment because he doesn't have any quick-fix wants to raise it.
In happier news, a couple of days before Richard's death, Joy had a chance card come up while she was at work and I chose the right option and she earned a $45,000 bonus! That will come in handy because I was planning to install a skating rink and upgrade the cars LOL

I have the same hack, and even when one of my guys was fully in the green, and only let him get out of bed when he needed to eat or use the toilet, he still died. That hack is almost a deffinite death sentance. I still have the hack, but I also have some medicine that will cure the sims immediately, just in case somebody I like gets ill.
Lecter:
Hannibal Lecter finally arrived to Basin City. He took residence in the messy messilot challenge house. It almost drove him insane, but it's spotless now, and the garden is getting there as well. He's currently working in the journalism career, which is his life time want. I can't wait till I get free time, because then I can enter him into the psyciatric career and start calling him Dr. Lecter :lovestruc Mr. Lecter is currently trying to get enough money to build a green house so he can grow himself a cow plant. There's already a list of townies we need to get rid off, and a cowplant is just what we need to accomplish the mission. We also need to buy him a computer so he can start chatting people up - I want his first woohoo to be with an asian lady, and I think there should be at least one asian lady in the townies. Mr. Lecter adopted himself a cat which he called Clarice, he's currently the only one with a pet in my game. I wanted the cat to be red and female - but I didn't want to create it myself but let the game give it to me. He ended up with a brownish male cat. It's still a kitten, and kittens have the tendancy to change their colours when they grow up, so there's still hope he'll end up being something else than brown or black. Then I'll just have to find it a redish partner and wait for the kitties :valentine
Mr. Lecter is the last person that is going to come to Basin city through CAS - unless something dramatic happens that require CAS people, the population of Basin city shall be only in game born sims, or townies.

My ex-Grand vampire has had some more Dream Dates with the girl of his dreams. (He had a facelift earlier to fix his nose and to reflect the fact that biting a fairy 5 times is likely to have odd effects on your physiology...) Thanks to the vampkiss-more interactions hack by shaklin he has stopped forcing her to drink vampirocillin every 10 minutes, but he rooked himself out of a Dream Date bouquet by queueing up a "Bite neck" interaction as soon as she showed up to drop off the flowers. She ran off without leaving them.
Then they went on another date downtown, after which he bit a townie who pranked him and then started to freestyle for tips. (Leaving me to wonder if they were lining up to tip him because he was good, or because they were scared of him.)
He came home and had a want to drink juice. I decided if he wants to drink juice, he can grow some trees and make his own juice rather than forcing me to let him get at his bar, so now he has a greenhouse and two of each kind of tree. He is also learning to fish in his decorative pond. (All the ponds I had made before I got Seasons for Christmas seem to have been deep enough to fish in! Just lucky, I guess...)
