Nick Clegg New Leader: Good or Bad

Nick Clegg was recently elected as the new leader (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/7148367.stm) of the UK Liberal Democrat party. Will he improve the party and help them win the next election - or act like Blair and Cameoren and spoil the origional ethos?

Nick Who?? I think he's too bland to win an election. Menzies Campbell was too old, but I did like Charles Kennedy, he was a very popular leader and could have taken the party far.

Lib Dems suck anyway. Unless this Clegg guy gives them some real policies of their own, rather than swinging between copying Conservative or Labour.. They're too indecisive for my liking. And now they have another bland leader to go with their bland politics.

Actually the Lib Dems aren't that bad, they are quite popular in Scotland. When they formed a coalition government with Labour in the Scottish parliament, they pushed through No University Fees for Scottish Students and Free Personal Care for the Elderly. No wonder Scotland is becoming such a popular place to live with the English :lol:
