Oi. So Skye grew up to teen and now I've got to redo that room *banghead* I finished Cora and Juniper's room just in them for them to transition to teen... PLUS the alien twins grew up to kids *sob* Good thing this house is small and both sets of twins share rooms or I'd go more loco than I already am. Anyway this is/was Cora and Juniper's kid room, it'll be updated to something a bit more mature now. They're both musicians, actually the whole family is. You can see everyone's pics in the toddler, child, and teen threads. Mom and dad were in old threads but they sneak into their kids' pics ;)

Here's a little room I decorated for the Hudsons' new baby, Shane. I don't usually decorate nurseries since they're not used for very long, but since I had to do Mia's Room anyway, I thought I'd take the time to do so.

The room is only 9x9, so it was really tough to take pictures of!

oh Brill i LOVE that bedroom...usually i reserve orange for my 'ultra-tacky" homes (as in super 70's tacky)because i fail at using it with any other color well but that looks stunning! you rock my socks girl!

Declandabest i really like the back walls paper but theres so many patterns in there and the lack of balance on the right side of the bed is a bit off-putting. i'd remove the sconce or put something else on the other side at an equal hight to it. a good start though!

Namicha, kudos on that beautiful nursery and the camera shot angle!! I love it! Now...can someone tell me how you get the toys into the crib like that?? I tried this afternoon to put a panda bear inside a crib with the OMSP..and it didn't work!

I just used move_objects on and boolprop snapobjectstogrid false, but I'm not an expert at those kind of things.

Lstsif- Thanks! That is, indeed, a garage. I've heard of families doing that in real life, so I thought it would be a great way to conserve space in the game. (And not have to bother with wallpaper and drapes!)

Treejen- Cold weather- what do you mean? Do garages get cold in the game during Winter? I didn't realize the game could differentiate between rooms that way.

JadeElliot- I'm glad you like the idea! The only thing I've noticed so far about it is that you can't lock the garage door, so there's not much privacy.

I've had this idea to do a Spiderman-themed kid's room for the past couple of weeks, and I finally got my chance when the Hudson boys needed a new room. This took a long time to finish since I had to make a few of the things myself (including a mesh edit for the lower bunk), but here it is, finally!

bP, I always love your rooms. They're always very stylish in a comfortable, liveable way. Tax's carpet is amazing and a fabulous detail (one I'm rarely patient enough to do) and I love the combination of painted/wallpapered and brick walls in both, I can't seem to pull that off.

Nya, those are lovely. I particularly like the art area.

I've been redoing all the bathrooms that I had temporarily done in boring white tile. This one is the Duffy downstairs bath, it's between the nursery and what was Axel's bedroom (that will probably become a guestroom). It also tends to get used as a guest bathroom which sort of sucks because the entrances are via the bedrooms. Bad design on my part, not having a public bathroom. Anyway, since it's off the nursery I made sure to have a tub (handy for washing their wolfie too) and kept the colors bright and the theme kiddie-friendly.

Well thats a relief, it's really hard to decorate a house with not a lot out there to do it with! More is less however in this case so I just stuck with that one rule and tried to find items that suited.

CaptainTHPS4, I love the lines in Amber's room. There's light blue lines on the wall, on her bedding, on the rug. That's a nice, cohesive touch!
Hermione's room, is splendid in pink butterflies, but tell her she needs to clean up! *giggles* The clutter is wonderful in this room.

Mearii, I would love to be outside in the yard, looking into that room with the Christmas tree! I bet that view is fantastic at night, when its lit up! I love the furniture layout of your livingroom.

Declandabest, your rooms are great! I especially love the diningroom, great artwork brings out the elegance in that room...and the livingroom, those baskets lined across the floor like that, really casual up that room!

Funkymonkey, this kitchen is so wonderful...there are no words. You've got the perfect looking cozy kitchen, and I don't even know how you came up with the tablecloth and rug color combination....it works!

Chihuahuas, you gave us a little bit and left! *giggles* I love the Mickey Mouse theme with the hearts...very adorable. The color scheme is very bright and colorful, too. Great for a kids' room.

Here's Ray Wilsonoff's apartment. He's new to the Hills from Apple Valley, and is renting for now. The apartment has one rule, 'don't remove the wall mirror'. Ray's trying to get his bakery started. He'll add more to his place as he can afford to. His favorite color is Navy Blue.
