All the houses are great, but I really like the second one. It has a lot of character. I have those stairs and have never managed to find a use for them. Heh. I also love the balcony decor you used. Wonderful!

Nice stairs, khakido, how did you do it?
This is probably the craziest house I've ever done: Imagine the foundation of your house raised really high and your rooms are connected by stairs. It's not beautiful, but it sure looks promising.
http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b260/1306/highriseliving1.jpg
The front
http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b260/1306/thehighrise.jpg
Left: The game room. An elevator on the space you see in the middle takes you up the club-like room.
Right: The dining room.
http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b260/1306/highriseliving2.jpg
One part of the house has two alternating routes: To the right is a direct route to the front yard. The left...
http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b260/1306/highriseliving3.jpg
...Leads to a pond ideal for fishing or just hanging out.
One problem, though: There's probably no way you could convert your foundation's interior into a room.

I've been looking at some medieval paintings and noted now deserted and isolated everything seems... so when I made my own "medieval" neighborhood, I decided to try and recreate that feeling.

This isn't really a house, but I guess it could fit under landscaping. It's a cemetery I made for my legacy family. I was just gonna make it an empty lot with a fence around it, but then I started adding stuff and I love how it turned out. I'll probably continue to add to it. So far no one is buried here, except for the family dog.

Aww thats so good to hear, ChihoSan. The funny thing is when I was building it, the idea of uploading it never even crossed my mind. But when it was done, I liked the floorplan so much I thought I would share it. Id really love to see pictures of it in your game (if you would be so bold) and how the McSkittles Family is liking it.

Oh man, I feel kind of embarassed posting my pictures here! I've never been much of a builder. In fact, I damn near cried when I finished this one purely because I finished one, and felt actually somewhat satisfied with the result. And that's why I'm sharing the pics :) Even though I can't hope to match some of the awesome stuff already shown.

Off subject, I think I might actually be the only person that likes smaller houses. I like the LOOK of mansions and all, but in terms of gameplay? they're just not my style. It just takes my sims way too long to get from one place to another to interact. I find myself making them 'run' a lot LOL. Otherwise, I'd just as soon have something small and cozy with a bunch of amenities.

Yes me to! Or maybe medium sized! The home I made is medium sized and easy to get through! I like houses that are easy to navigate! I had a huge house before and it slowed my game down and took much work to navigate lol! Oh and that includes huge rooms I hate those also!
... .. I usually download homes but I'm very picky so I started trying home building! I actually was inspired by home I recent made by a house I seen ! I prefer doing comm lots. But, after some practice I made a OK looking home!

It's for my Self-Sim, my RL boyfriend's Self-Sim, and our little Sim children.
We had to move due to the birth of our second child Silvia. :)
Actually, I love your house! I like smaller homes too because my game can't handle those extravagent lots, lol! I also love smaller lots because to me, they are easier to play and you can find anysim or anything when you need to a lot quicker, lol!
I love all of the homes I seen...I really wish I could build but I guess that will be in the next sims series, lol.

This is a sim version of the Maisonette I actually live in. I wanted it for the sim version of my family to live in :). It actually looks pretty close to the real thing the only thing wrong really is the roof, unfortunatly I don't have a comparison picture so you'll just have to take my word for it lol.

Wow thanks, teardrops. I just use some cheats and some wonderful CC I downloaded. I wanted the effect of the wild and overgrown look (my father has his garden like that). But I also want to practice the more 'neat' gardens, with a nice lay-out and everything. When I'll manage that I'll post some pics.
amora_selvagen , I like what you did with the roof, it's very practical and fits the house. The house itself is very beautiful and original, I would definitely put it in my hood.

I will post the final pics of the house...
I am also doing my entire neighborhood(I got a new Pleasentview with roads near the beach from Flabaiki )....
So now I am doing the residential parte.
Kiri- I just trough about the houses in brasil(poor ones) they do not have to much place than the roof became moreless what u see(without the pool..sometimes :D)...But of course in the games this is for the rich sims :) !
Treejen- I was testing if it would work.and did...so now my sim has tomate and a lemon tree inside...and a nice garden tht gives her inspiration for her arts(the Greenhouse is anexed to the arts room :einstein :D )
I also use the walls from the green house to cover the terasse(the roof :P)
Thank you all!!
