Well, that house is a set for Omerta. The crate, the statues inside it, and the seaweed (representing sawdust) are there for a scene that I just shot. Esentially, it's just clutter that wouldn't normally be there.

SSChan, that bedroom is a work of art! I notice your rooms have so much character, a person can sit and look at the pics and see something new in them everytime! I can't quite tell what is going on with the table in the basement picture - (or how you even did that!), but I love the idea and the look of the room. I think that's officially the smallest house I've ever seen o_O Poor Serafina must be so claustrophobic in her bedroom :lol: I do really like your use of curtains throughout the house, it looks much nicer than plain doorframes.

You're giving me hope for the house I put one of my legacy siblings in though. It's that teeny BV vacation home that's built over the water, I love the lot and the house but it's so tiny there's no way to have a family! I already had to move a wall just to fit the double bed in the bedroom. I'm thinking if I borrow your loft idea I just might be able to have kids AND keep that house :D

awww, well thank you :D Yes, sims really can walk through the curtains I wasn't sure at first when I put them up but they do. When I originally built the house it was just Serena living there and the house was only one floor I had to add the loft after Serafina was born so she could have somewhere to have her bed. If you've ever seen the movie Ratatoullie I took my inspiration for the house from Linguine's apartment, it was super tiny but just the right size for all the essentials.

Keely, your creativity is a never-ending flow. I love the fact that these rooms could be claustrophobic, but they aren't 'cause they're so interesting to look at! LOL! You always use great color.

Catwalk, that kitchen is nice and colorful (love the tatoo on your Sim). I especially like the ceiling light.

here is a sort of urbanised clothing store, its the kind of store only available to celebrities, 'it' sims etc. above a more well known store.

theres also a studio connected with it so you can not only buy clothes, but model them too !

Actually, I think they're harder LOL only because you're working with a limited space so options are also limited. I like clutter and "home-iness" which is kind of difficult in a smaller space because when I design, I like to make it actually usable for the sim too, don't want them yelling at me because something is in their way or blocking the doors :rofl:

I love small houses. For one reason, I'm far from good at decorating, so when the house is small I get a good challenge out of decorating the rooms but at the same time, there's less total to decorate xD Another reason is that I like to see whats going on in my lots without having to scroll & zoom all over the place. Also, I'm on a laptop, so smaller lots = less lag and better performance!

One of my favorite "rooms" to build is a greenhouse/hot tub room outside. This one isn't quite complete yet but I usually line the walls with the ivy trellis, hang some romantic lights, throw down a couple of the rose petal rugs and even stick a fountain in the corner. It was a goofy idea I had one day that turned into a special little nook for my sim couples.

Thank you Avaluna and Macthecat. I also love the family photos on the wall, but I hope to recolor and put the Warton family pictures inside (the actual frames are from Holy Simoly I believe or Around the Sims 2, I can't remember.) Well hopefully with the money Chase is racking in (754 I believe?) from working as a High School (Art [Not a career]) teacher. I say they could buy new furnishings. The only problem is... where are they going to put all of it. Their house is so small that Stevie (the toddler) has to have his crib in his parent's room. Hopefully he won't have to sleep in there any longer. I was thinking of moving them out along with all of their valuables.

Wow fway, I love that living room! The green theme is great. I have a hard time using colors like green and pink and purple in rooms (and actually making them look nice), but you did a nice job with the green. Very homey, very nice.

Well the Lykus (Fink) household has expanded from two members to five

Its more of a challenge I think because there isnt too much variety to choose from. I think the dining part is my favorite. you really used size to its best, and with all the ugly aside, it still appears comfortable.

The two sims I moved in (Peter and Ann) did fall in love within hours of him moving in, so now they live with his daughter, Maria, in their own home. (and I totally stole the idea from someone inhere - sorry I can't remember her name, but the has a stunding hood - the tide or something like that).

Scout: Poor sims living there. At least they have a cosy home, even if it isn't healthy or all that clean. I got a few trailers as well. It is really fun decorating like that isn't it?

Love the boarding house idea. Saves having to spend a single sim's entire life savings building/buying a house that you're gonna move them out of so fast. I have an apartment complex I'm working on for that very reason. I stuck two sims there to build it and as I complete each unit more sims move in (yay for Uni EP letting you add sims to existing households!).

I'll second fway's advice about the one-more-slot packages, and just add that clutter in general adds a lot to a room. It really makes it look lived in.

The Basement isn't much but it's a basement. . . I'm almost finished "furnishing" it. (This will soon be a part of Stevie's room when he grows into a teen, Jolene will take his old room.
