Cilla sat intently on the couch in Delilah's office - right next to Chelsea. She could hear everything.
Well, at least the part when Cecilia went in, anyway.

"What should we do?" she aksed Chelsea. "I mean, should we do something? No, ARGH-"

She sighed.

Delilah glanced around the room nervously.

Someone break this fight up! she thought. Yeah, right, like someone's going to just come in and break up the fight and make the problems go away because I thought it!

"I'm not sure. Cecilia is on a rampage to get her fired. I say we see how the next few words go and if she is about to fire Delilah then we should step in. She can't do tis because she's jealous that she can't have Gavin."

Chelsea was scared of Cecilia now. She never wanted to have a jealous, on-a-rampage-because-you-have-the-man-I-want kind of boss.

"Oh well, life is never fair," she thought.

Gavin hid his scowl from Cecilia,

"So if I chose to take the premotion I won't have Delilah as my secretary anymore?" he thought about it worriedly, she was definately trying to make him chose between his girlfriend as his job, something he didn't want to do

"I guess not." she said simply. "So, can I meet you at Bob's in two hours? They've got the best coffee there."

Cilla nodded, completely speechless, continuing to listen to their conversation.

"My god, doesn't she know there are more guys in the building!?" She asked herself.

Delilah clenched down on Gavin's hand.

No, don't listen to her! Delilah thought pleadingly. Why does she always want to have what I do?

She looked around, feeling more desperate. Someone please stop this monster! she thought.

Cilla picked up her purse (small, not heavy, sorry. XD) and whammed the door open loudly, loud enough for them to hear it, and knocked on Gavin's office.
Then she turned to Chelsea.

"Okay. So what do we do?" she asked.

Delilah looked over at the door.

"Come in!" she yelled.

She smiled to herself and thought, I think the army has arrived.

"Yea I guess I'll have to meet you there," Gavin replied eventually, squeezing Delilah's hand to show he would do nothing with Cecilia except talk.

Gavin was about to say something else when a loud knock came on the door and Delilah called for them to come in. Who was it?

"Uh.. hi," Cilla stuttered, opening the door a little bit, and then pushing it farther, closer to the wall. "We're here to...."

She leaned over and whispered to Chelsea. "What are we going to do?"

"Uh, well... actually.. no." she replied. "uh.. there's a client downstairs! She wants to speak to you!"

Gavin looked at Chelsea and Cilla come walking into the room and smacked his hand against his forehead. Yea this was going to look good in front of his boss: he frequently had 3 pretty girls over for parties in his office!

"What are you guys doing here?" he asked, looking up at Delilah who he assumed had known they were coming

"They would've called." she said. "If they didn't I simply have no time for them now. And I will be going to my office soon to finish some paperwork."

"Right...." Cilla gave Delilah an apologizing look and smiled at Cecilia. "We'll be going.. back to work now.."

She pulled Chelsea out of the room and closed the door, smiling weakly and then let out a huge sigh. At least she sort of bought it - because she was absolutely sure there was no client downstairs. Especially when they were needed..

"I need something to drink," she muttered.

Gavin looked at the four women all bantering in his office and he realised he was way out of his depth.

"Er...I think I'm going to get a cup of coffee," he said, raising his eyes at Delilah as he stood up to leave the room, "please excuse me."

He opened his door, turned back to face the girls, smiled and left.

"I'll be going to my office now. And I'll see you at Bob's in two hours." she said to Gavin. She smiled politely at Cilla and Chelsea and left Gavin's office.

Chelsea felt so horrible but you can't stop an utter b*tch on a rampage. It just doesn't happen unless you have the perfect man beside you.

Cilla watched her boss and Gavin head seperate ways to their own destination. She shot a look at Delilah, speeding right after Gavin.

"Ditto," she sighed, then looked at Chelsea. "I'm probably going to go out and get some real food. Coming?"

Gavin stood by the coffee machine with a steaming cup in his hands. He drank it black and he drank it hurriedly, draining it faster than he'd thought possible before grabbing another. What was going on with Cecilia, why hit on the assistant manager when the place was crawling with male models! He had to admit he was flattered, and he hoped he'd made the right decision with Delilah and that she wasn't playing him.

"Yes! Where to?"

Chelsea needed food and alcohol, and fast.

Delilah embraced Gavin from behind, careful not to spill any coffee.

"The dragon lady strikes again," she said, referring to Cecilia. She sighed. "At least you spoke up for me. Thanks, sweetie. Oh, and I think she's just jealous of me. Whenever I show interest in a guy, she wants him too. Go figure."

He smiled and took Delilah's hand, swivelling round a bit so he could kiss her. He let go and wiped his lips, still a worried frown finding his face, "do you think everything will be ok?"

"Sorry Chels," Cilla smiled. "But I'm going to stay away from the bars. My next photoshoot is in three hours and I get drunk fast." she stopped smiling at the last bit.

"Well, what kind of food do you want to eat?"

Deliah kissed Gavin's fingers. "I hope so," she said softly. "Just be careful when you're around her. She's sneaky and will use any means necessary to get what she wants. And right now, sweetie, you're what she wants."

Cecilia rushed inside her office threw the door so it would close and walked to her desk, which she threw on the floor. Her computer also fell, but to her surprise it remained working. She sat on the papers which fell down next to the desk and buried her head in her hands.

Chinsa had dosed off at the table slowly she got up and began to walk toward Delilah's office only to see her with her arms wrapped around Gavin a few minutes later "Figures". She whispered to herself. She took out her cellphone to check the time she had a photo shoot in thirty-minutes "unchi, I will be late". She hurried into the bathrooms to mentally prepare herself. She fumbled in her purse until she found some breath mints.She popped on into her mouth and began to walk down the halls.

Gavin heard crashing from above him where Cecilia's office was and looked a little worried. He put his arm around Delilah and she buried her head in his shoulder

"How do I know it's not you chasing after the guy she likes," he joked, letting out a deep sigh

He paused, "this whole thing is pretty flattering," he said, giving her a cheeky grin

Cilla turned around and a smile immediately was planted on her face. "Hey, look, it's Chinsa," she said to Chelsea.

"HEY, CHINSA!" she yelled from across the hallway.

Cecilia looked at the clock, two hours and she would meet him again. It hurted so much to see him, but it also felt great. She wanted to talk to him, but was afraid it would turn into a fight.

Delilah playfully slapped his arm. "It's flattering to you, but it's a hell of a headache for me. Do you think I like having Cecilia ticked at me?"

She pouted and said, "You better be worth all this drama!"

Gavin smiled gently and kissed her again, one that sent sparks right down both their backs and to the tip of their shoes.

"Worth it?" he asked teasingly. He picked up his coffee again and put his hands round it to keep himself warm

His face produced a smile but inside he was still burning. He didn't know what to do, he just wanted a simple relationship with her, no drama, no possibilities of losing his job. Was it all a mistake? He hoped not

"Wanna go get some lunch?" he asked eventually, letting out a sigh.

He gave her another short kiss to let her know he was ok and then pulled back with a sincere smile on his face

"Oh yea," Gavin said, burying through his pockets, "do you want this back?"

He held up the gold necklace for Delilah.

She stood still, letting Gavin put the necklace around her neck. Then, she kissed his cheek.

"Let's go have lunch so we can spend some time together before you have to go for the Coffee Meeting from Hell," Delilah agreed, squeezing his hand.

"Where do you want to go? Your choice babe," he said, putting his coffee mug down in the small metal sink next to the machine

He took her hand and walked back to his office to get his jacket and some cash

Cecilia needed to throw something and decieded to throw the vase which already fell down to the wall.

Delilah paused for a moment, thinking, and said, "I think I'll let you decide. I'm not too familiar with the restaurants around here."

She ran her hands over her hair, smoothing it out, and then gave Gavin a warm smile.

My God, he looks so good... she thought, blushing a little.

Gavin smirked at her a little, as if he knew what she was thinking.

Gavin grinned as Delilah clearly checked him out. He returned the look, smiling as he glanced the ladder in her tights, something he'd caused.

He was about to leave his office when he heard something smash above his head.

"What the hell is Cecilia doing?" he said, looking over at Delilah, "Do you think we should check on her. She may be murdering someone!"

Gavin took Delilah's hand and kissed her palm.

Delilah giggled delightedly when Gavin kissed her palm. "That tickles!" she laughed.

Then, she listened for a few seconds. "It sounds like she's taking out her anger on her office furniture. Better the furniture than us, I guess."

Delilah wrapped her arm around Gavin's waist. "Let's go eat," she said.

Gavin kissed the top of her head, "don't have to tell me twice," he replied with a laugh

He took her hand and lead her out of the office, "there's a great little place just down the road, italian. That ok?"

Gavin stopped and smiled at Delilah. "I'm glad everything's worked out ok so far."

"Shit" Gavin said, taking his ringing cell phone from his pocket before placing it to his ear.

He picked up Delilah's hand and kissed her fingers while he listened to what his assistant Jess had to say.

"Gav I forgot, what was the name you said again for the flowers? I can't remember," she burbled in her hard american accent.

Gavin quickly dropped Delilah's hand and turned his back to her so she couldn't hear. "Delilah Stanton," Gavin told his assistant quietly, "and make sure they get here soon!"

While his assistant continued to talk in a hurried voice, Gavin touched Delilah's cheek with his hand, comforting her that he wasn't talking to Cecilia.

Delilah tilted her head close, trying to listen to the conversation.

I wonder what this is about, she thought. That's not Cecilia's voice.

She smiled patiently, waiting for Gavin to get off the phone so she could ask what the call was about.

Gavin quickly hung up his cell and took Delilah's hand again

"Ok let's eat," he said, making no comment on the phone call

"Sure," Delilah replied, squeezing Gavin's hand. "But sweetie, who was that who just called?"

Gavin turned around and stopped, his eyebrows shooting upwards

"Er...just my personal assistant. Nothing big...nothing at all."

He knew he was looking suspicious, but he didn't want to tell Delilah about the two dozen pink and white roses he'd ordered for her just yet. He hoped Delilah wouldn't think he was suspicious for the wrong reasons.

But then again, if we got in a fight we'd have to make up again. And that was fun

He smiled uncomfortabely and squeezed her hand back

Delilah raised an eyebrow. "Personal assistant, hm?"

She kissed his hand. "Is she prettier than me?" she asked with a wink. "Kidding. Now, on to the restaurant."

Gavin pulled his hand away, "That tickles me too you know" he laughed.

"No of course she's not prettier than you. And she won Miss Ohio in a beauty pageant once," Gavin meant it as a compliment, saying Delilah was prettier than a beauty pageant winner but it didn't come out right, "wait I mean. Ergh...she's called Jess and she's my cousin."

He sighed and laughed to himself as they left the building and walked along the street

Delilah giggled and walked along the street with Gavin.

"I know what you're trying to say, sweetie," she said. "Thanks."

Gavin relaxed for a moment and then stopped walking. He took Delilah in his arms and gave her another kiss

"I'd thought I'd make the most of this as I'm actually allowed to do this out on the street. God knows we can't really do it in there. Let's hope Cecilia is looking out of her window," he said with a laugh, moving to kiss her again.

Delilah laughed as well and kissed Gavin.

"You are such a sweetheart," she whispered. "A little weird now and then, but then again, so am I."

Gavin looked hurt, "weird!" he repeated.

Even though he was actually hurt by the comment, he decided to make a joke of it; otherwise she'd think he was even weirder.

"Fine!" he said, folding his arms and pretending to sulk, "well we wouldn't want you making out with a weird guy."

He turned around, let out a little giggle and then stormed off down the street, taking exaggerated strides in an attempt to show he wasn't serious.

Delilah caught up to Gavin and wrapped an arm around him, sensing that he was hurt by her comment. "I mean weird in a good way," she explained. "Normal is boring and... well, blah. Weird is more interesting."

He gave her another kiss then looked back at the office, worried about his coffee date with Cecilia

A few minutes later their food arrived from a particularly good looking blonde waitress. Gavin looked the waitress up and down and then smiled at Delilah.

"See, told you I can control myself. If I wasn't dating you I'd be all over her," he joked.

Delilah laughed and poked Gavin under the table with the toe of her shoe.

They ate their food, teasing each other and cracking jokes the whole time.

Gavin smiled to himself as the time ticked away with Delilah. He ordered a chocolate pudding for dessert to share between them. When the waitress brought it out he grinned at Delilah

"You can sit on me knee if you want babe," he said teasingly.

Delilah oblidged and perched on his lap as he fed her the dessert. At one point he noticed her watching an old man flirting furiously with the young waitress and Gavin winked

"Aren't you glad I'm not like that!" he whispered with a wink

Delilah giggled and allowed Gavin to feed her. She looked in the direction of the dirty old man that Gavin indicated.

Delilah laughed and fed Gavin a bite of pudding. "It depends," she teased. "If I was the waitress, I wouldn't mind if you were like that."

She fed him the rest of the pudding and climbed off of his lap. "Now what, hot stuff?" she asked.

Chelsea said as the hostess greated them. The little thin blond brought them over to their table. It was a lovely restaurant with fancy food and great service, well at least that's what it's well known for.

"Hey that's my line!" Gavin teased, dropping a few notes and a bunch of coins on the table to pay for the meal.

He looked at his watch, "make the most of me as I'll be off to see Cecilia soon."

Gavin smiled at Delilah as they the restaurant as she put her arms around his neck and he kissed her

Delilah sighed happily and looked up at Gavin.

"You're so good to me," she said, blushing a little. She pressed her lips to his fingers and then to his palm.

"I'd really hate to lose you..." she whispered.

Gavin closed his eyes and let Delilah kiss his hand, tickling him gently with her lips.

"Hey," he said softly, titling her chin up at him and he smiled with soft eyes, "I'm not going anywhere."

"I know," she said. She squeezed his hands gently. "Come on," she whispered. "Let's go find some more stuff to do before you have to go spend time with the dragon lady."

As they walked in through the front doors and into the elevator Gavin turned to her

"You'd better show me a good time," he teased with a grin, "or I may have to go and 'fullfill my needs' with Cecilia."

Delilah smirked. "Do you think I'd disappoint you?" she asked. She gave Gavin a sneaky smile.

"Where would you like-- in here? The office? Rooftop? Hurry up and take your pick, because time's just passing by."

The waitress handed them their menus and Cilla flipped to the beverages page. Listed among the page were several types of tea and other avaliable drinks. On the next page listed fried rice with chicken, or with peas, etc. Cilla smiled at the waitress as she asked for their drinks.

"Green tea, please."

"Rooftop please" Gavin said with a mischievious smile.

He took a step towards Delilah and whispered in her ear, "it's always deserted."

Gavin quickly took a step back away from her and pretended to ignore her

Delilah smirked at Gavin.

"Rooftop it is. We'll have to take the elevator to the top floor and then take the stairs to the roof," she explained. She pressed a button and leaned against a wall of the elevator, whistling nonchalantly.

Once the elevator reached the top floor the doors opened and Gavin darted out of them quickly, turned and stuck his tongue out at Delilah and ran up the steps to the rooftop.

He collapsed onto the grassy lawn, that the landscapers thought would be a good idea at the time but actually no one even looked at, and closed his eyes. The grass was getting so long that Gavin could see it out of the corners of his eyes.

He saw Delilah come out of the building and he grabbed her hand, pulling her onto the grass beside him

"So...show me why I shouldn't go make out with Cecilia," Gavin teased.

Delilah smirked at Gavin.

"I didn't know you needed a reason, but okay... I'll be more than happy to prove why she's the inferior choice," she whispered, unbuttoning Gavin's shirt and tossing it aside.

Chelsea was surprised at how packed it was. It was normally the afternoon lull in most restaurants but not for this one. There were socialites and business metting going on all over the place. Soon enough the waitress came to give them their drinks. Chelsea sipped some of her tea.

"Cilla, what to you think of today so far?"

Delilah slowly unbuttoned Gavin's shirt and threw it aside. He pulled her on top of him and kissed her slowly, wondering actually when he should get back to work: not the greatest thing to be thinking about in a make out session, but oh well.

Gavin moved to undo Delilah's shirt but stopped and redid the button he's just undone. He picked up his shirt and slid it back over his shoulders, leaving it undone.

"I'd rather not right now," Gavin whispered, and stroked Delilah's hair

Chinsa had decided to skip the photoshoot and catch up with Cilla and Chelsea. Twenty minutes later Gavin threw his shirt back over his shoulders and began to button it up.

Cecilia looked at the clock, she would meet Gavin in about 10 minutes. It was a mess in her office but she didn't feel like cleaning it up. The only thing that was actually standing like it should be was her sofa. The other stuff was broken or on the ground.

Gavin walked back down the stairs to the top floor, closely followed by Delilah.

"I guess I have to go meet Cecilia now," he said looking sad.

He put his arms around her waist and gave her a kiss goodbye, "I'll miss you," he said.

Running back down the stairs and out of the front door he walked over to the coffee shop where he'd agreed to meet his boss and went in the entrance. Sitting in one of the booths in the corner, Gavin took his tie out of his pocket and fixed himself up again, flattening his shirt so he was smarter and didn't look like he'd just screwed Delilah. That certainly would not make Cecilia happy. Looking at his watch he noticed he was ten minutes early, so he ordered a mocha latte and waited

Cecilia slowly stood up and fixed her make-up with the little make-up mirror she had. She walked out and locked the door behind her so no one would see the mess. She walked over to the elevators, stood in one and pressed the button to the main floor. When the doors opened the walked out of the building.

After a few minutes she reached the café and walked in. She looked around, searching for Gavin, when she saw him she immediately walked over to him and sat down in front of him.
"Hi..." she said.

Jeisa walked as confidentally as she could into the office waiting room, portfolio clutched tightly. She was hoping that this job would be her big break- if she even got it. She went up to the secretary ((OOC:assuming there is one!)) and said, "Hello. I'm Jeisa, I'm here to see, umm," she pulled out a piece of paper from her bag which hung from one shoulder, "Amber. To talk about a job."

The secretary showed her to the office door, which Jeisa raised her hand and to knock on. Before her hand could hit the wood, the door opened, smacking her in the face. In her attempt to jump back and hold her face, Jeisa dropped her portfolio book.

Just as Amber got out the door she realized she had smacked someone in the face with it. "Oh my god , I'm so sorry,I hope you're ok. You must be the new model...Jeisa right?" she said, picking up the portfolio off the ground and handing it back "I'm Amber, Miss Queen's secretary".

"Yes..I am. And I think I'll be fine" said Jeisa, looking slightly nervous.

"Well of course you'll be wanting to speak with Miss Queen right away then, she is the boss after all" said Amber, barely able to contain her glee at having found someone so quickly "Come on in, I'll call her and tell her you're here".

The two women walked inside the office and sat down, and Amber grabbed some ice from the fridge for Jeisa to put on her face. "I really am sorry for hitting you with the door Jeisa, I hope you'll be ok" she said, while she dialed Cecilia's number.

"Hello, Miss Queen? It's Amber. The new model Jeisa Intel is here and she needs to meet with you to go over her contract and talk about her first assignment".

Amber wasted no time with idle chit chat. "Well of course you'll be wanting to speak with Miss Queen right away then, she is the boss after all. Come on in, I'll call her and tell her you're here". She ushered Jeisa into her office, where she proceeded to take some ice from the fridge for Jeisa's face.

She doubted that Amber had heard her, however, because just as she said it the secretary said into the phone "Hello, Miss Queen? It's Amber. Delilah frowned. "Deliveries?" she muttered to herself. "Now what would he have delivered here? Don't tell me he's a drug dealer or something..."

Just then, there was a knock at the door. "Come in," Delilah called out.

Probably Amber, wanting the gossip, Delilah thought.

A uniformed woman walked in. "Are you Delilah Stanton?" she asked.

"Yes, I am," Delilah replied, surprised.

"There's a delivery for you, from someone named Gavin Ruppetts," the delivery woman said, checking the paper on her clipboard. She held the clipboard out to Delilah. "Sign here, please," she said, indicating a line at the bottom of the page. Delilah signed quickly.

"I'll be back in a second with the delivery," the woman said. She gave Delilah a grin and said, "I'm jealous-- I wish my boyfriend would send me something like this!"

She hurried out of the room. "Like what?" Delilah called out.

The delivery woman returned shortly, bearing two dozen pink and white roses. She grinned at Delilah and handed them to her, saying, "Have a nice day." She left.

Delilah stared at the flowers and then placed them in one of the many vases in her office. "Wow..." she muttered. "I was not expecting that at all."

She pulled her phone out and sent a reply to Gavin:

He looked out of the coffee shop window and back at the office building, knowing he couldn't see into Delilah's office but he still wanted to feel near to her. After another minute his cell beeped another message

She pulled on her sweater, grabbed her purse, and ran out of the office. She stepped into the elevator and cursed its slowness.

Then, she hurried out of the main lobby and out of the building.

Gotta find the coffeeshop... she thought. After some running around and asking for directions, she soon found herself outside the coffeeshop.

I hope I'm not too late! she thought, hurrying in.

Delilah stood, careful not to slip in the coffee again. She looked Cecilia in the eye and spoke with more venom in her voice than ever before.

"I never said you were a child, Cecilia," she finally said, "but if you're going to go and call yourself one, then I'll have to agree with you on that, because you do act like one. And you're only the manager because you're related to the woman who owns this company. Now tell me, if Mommy Dearest didn't own the company, what would you be doing?"

Gavin wasn't sure who to believe. Had Delilah really lied to me about Cecilia? Which one was telling the truth? Did either of them actually really love me, or were they saying it for effect?

He continued walking halfway towards the office building and stopped, sitting down on a bench on the sidewalk. He rested his elbows on his knees and dropped his head into his hands

Cecilia walked out the coffeeshop she looked at the ground and tried to walk as fast as possible. The office was a few minutes away.
When she reached it she slowly opened the door and walked in. The reception-woman's eyes widened and she asked what was wrong. Cecilia ignored her and made her way to the elevators. She walked in and waited for it to reach her floor. She walked over to her office and opened the door. She walked in, to see the mess she had left. She lay down on the sofa.
Gavin and her had a good time in the coffeeshop but ofcourse something, or in this case someone had to ruin it.

Delilah sat beside Gavin. She glanced at him, unsure of whether or not she should do anything.

Finally, she reached out and stroked Gavin's back. "Gavin," she whispered. "I can't believe you actually stood up to Cecilia!"

She squeezed one of his hands. "You know... what I said back in there... I wasn't lying. I meant everything I said."

Cecilia closed her eyes and cried, she cried for hours. She just fired the man she loved. Ofcourse she didn't want to fire him. He just tested her. And now he hurt her, more then he could ever do. He just left without saying goodbye. He was gone now.

Cecilia Made sure no one would storm in and hurt her even more. So she locked the door. Still she had nothing to throw anymore and she really wanted to. So she just walked over to the wall and threw a painting against the window, which was now almost broken.

He took Delilah's hand and lead her back into the office building and into the elevator.

Delilah smirked and said, nipping at his neck, "Great way to get your job back-- doing naughty things in every place you can find. Great tactic." She giggled a little. "But, whatever. I'm not complaining. Although the cleaning staff probbaly wants to kill us by now!"

She looked around and said, "I really hope there's no cameras in this thing. There's nothing I hate quite the way I hate having an audience during these kinds of moments."

He was just giving Delilah a hickey on her collar bone as the elevator doors opened and the two sprang apart.

Delilah banged on the door and struggled with the lock, trying to force the door open.

"Cecilia, we're not going to throw you out the window, we promise. Okay, you might not believe that coming from me, but... hell, even I'm worried about you right now. At least open the door so we can see that you're in one piece, no blood or anything."

"Stay here," he told Delilah who had followed him in. He gave her another meaningfull kiss and clambered out of the 10th floor window, holding onto the drainpipe as he made his way over to Cecilia's office
