Welcome to the first Present Harry Potter Roleplaying Thread!

Of course, with a Harry Potter Roleplaying, there are many rules for a roleplay, so let me explain to you some of the rules of this roleplay.

1. This is NOT a Strategy game (e.g. The Darkness Inside, The Hidden Palace, etc.).
2. Everything refers to the rules http://forums.sims2community.com/showthread.php?t=41221
3. Make Ups are allowed but I would prefer that there were not too many of them. I want some original characters. The rule is that there is a maximum of 10-15 made ups.
4. ONE CHARACTER EACH. I would think that if we had more than one character for each person then it would be hard for the roleplayer and harder for characters to talk to each other. It does easier this way, face it.
5. Mary or Gary Sues are not tolerated here. If we needed another perfect goodie-two shoes, I’ll say so, but I would rather quit The Sims 2 than say so. Please, we do not need another Fleur Delacour.
6. Making up your own spells and/or saying them non-verbally is strictly forbidden. Only powerful people can do both of those things like Dumbledore and Voldemort. I doubt that teenagers are able to perform these tricks.
7. No character exaggerating. Remus is not gay. Ginny isn’t all that. And for crying out loud, Hermione is NOT goth. Deal with it.
8. Everything is canon. No, Harry and Hermione do not get together. I’m sorry to crush some of your spirits but JK Rowling said so. You can roleplay Ron and Hermione but only subtle hints that can lead up. Don’t put the two making out swapping saliva in a corner of the room. That is just … wow. No Harry Potter character in the universe should do that.
9. Please do not roleplay if you cannot write for your life. I will accept Semi-Literate and above. Poor roleplaying may lead to eviction if necessary.
10. By the way, this is Harry's Sixth Year so that's the basis. Oh, it's also 1996-97 so there are no ELECTRONICS!
11. The plot is basically what follows HBP. Anything can happen at Hogwarts ... watch out for when I throw some events out at Hogwarts.
12. You can RP fives times every 24 hours.

Name: Draco Malfoy

Appearance: Tall and slender, Draco has a pale, sharp-featured face, sleek white-blond hair, and cold, light grey eyes.

Personality: Draco is the only child of Lucius and Narcissa Malfoy. The Malfoy’s are known to be cruel, sadistic people who enjoy taking pleasure in making the lives of those who they deem unworthy of magic Hell and as such their only heir has grown to be like them.

It hasn’t taken long for him to win the dislike and hatred of the majority of the school student body. He has bullied and threatened a majority of people, including some teachers, to get what he wants and unlike other bullies he does not use physical strength.

Draco is a highly refined person and as such made him a person you would never want to cross. He's a bigot and he's a bully, and as I say, in the most refined sense, he knows exactly what will hurt people and will use it to his advantage.

Draco is thought of as someone who is very capable of compartmentalizing his life and his emotions, and always has done. So he's shut down his pity, enabling him to bully effectively. He's shut down compassion allowing him to be the perfect Death Eater. So he suppresses virtually all of the good side of himself.

Sim Aspiration: Money

Other: Draco is a Latin word meaning "dragon and serpent" it is also the name of a constellation, in this case the constellation Draco.

"Draco" was the first lawgiver of Athens, who enforced a harsh legal code. The English adjective draconian, meaning "cruel", is inherited from him.

Variations on the name "Draco" are also translated to "devil" in some ancient texts. The name is related to "Dracula", which means son of the dragon/devil.

"Malfoy" is derived from Old French "mal foy", which in turn is derived from Latin "mala fide", means "bad faith", or "bad trust" or it could mean a judicial term meaning intentional mischief, ill will or evil intentions.

Name: Neville Longbottom

Appearance: Neville has sandy-brownish hair, and it can be messy sometimes. On formal occasions he usually smoothens it so that there's a part going down from his forehead to the other side of his head. He really dislikes his large and crooked teeth and his slight chubiness. Apart from that, Neville also doesn't like his heart shaped head and small feet. Or in dancing terms, two left feet. Of course, he has brown eyes (in the second picture he has blue eyes) and he usually likes to wear a sweatervest or polo shirt when not in Hogwarts uniform.

Personality: One of his infamous qualities is that he tends to forget so much. That's why his grandmother bought him a Rememberall in his First Year. Neville still has one now. Every now and then, he may lose something. For example, Trevor, his pet toad, is almost constantly lost and Neville is left scurring the whole school to find him when he just saves him from being eaten by carnivious plants in Herbology.

Neville's shy personality probably comes from having no parents throughout his childhood since they were tortured by Death Eaters. As an outcome, Neville has no friends except Luna Lovegood and Ginny Weasley, and sometimes the Trio. Everyone looks down on him as an outcast, a loser, a wimp, an idiot. Even through this, he gives everyone good treatment with a positive look towards life.

Another reason for his shy personality is living with his strict grandmother, Augusta. She is a perfectionist and wants Neville to be like one too and follow in his father's footsteps. Neville is terrified of her and thinks at times how he is so relieved to be away at Hogwarts to avoid her.

Personality: Ginny is intelligent, funny and adventurous. She is quite a gifted witch.
Sim Aspiration: family
Other: Ginny (actually Ginerva) is the youngest child (and only girl) of the Weasley clan. Like all of her family members she is in the house Gryffindor. Ginny likes her brothers a lot, accept for Percy ... Since the first time she saw Harry Potter, the best friend of her brother Ron, she is in love with the famous boy.
In her first year at Hogwarts she was possessed by he-wo-must-not-be-named and nearly died because of that but Harry saved her.
Despite her passion for Harry she has had relationships with Dean Thomas and Michael Corner - but these didn't last very long.

Personality:
Hermione's position as one of the most intelligent students in her year, which she works hard to maintain, has also led to frequent teasing, although Harry and Ron do depend on her for academic help, and her knowledge and common sense prove valuable in overcoming the trio's challenges.

Hermione is brave and loyal and has a fierce political conscience; Though in her first year she was confused at crisis situations (when asked to light a fire when trapped in the Devil's Snare, she said "But there's no wood!"), later she became the one to solve those situations (manages to fool Umbridge into the Forbidden Forest, marking the doors at the Department of Mystery).

Although compassionate, she can be a bit awkward when dealing with people, despite her position as the "social soother" in the trio. Hermione is deeply insecure and sometimes feels utterly inadequate. To compensate, she tries to be the best at everything at school, projecting a false confidence that can irritate people. Hermione also tends to irritate people with her apparent sense of moral superiority, which she has tried to force upon others in the past.

Hmmm ... I guess you're right. For the RP/Strategy rules it says that you can only have 3 posts a day. I am going to say that we can have 5 posts a day.

I’ve been told I have my mother’s green eyes, which always need glasses, and my father’s messy black hair, which always needs brushing. But people only seem to notice only one thing about me; I have a scar on my forehead. When I was younger, I didn’t even know how I got it. It’s not like my aunt and uncle filled me in. I only learned the real reason when I was invited to attend Hogwart’s and Hagrid told me all about my parents. Lord Voldemort tried to kill me when he murdered them. All I have left is this lightning-bolt scar on my forehead, and some sort of destiny that other people (like Professor Dumbledore) seem to know but it’s still pretty unclear to me. I HATE when people notice me for my scar! And sometimes...it hurts. Because of HIM!

I value loyalty more than anything. I will ALWAYS defend and protect my friends! Ok, I’m shy sometimes, but...not when I’m angry. And don’t tell me who to trust and not to trust, I can tell from a mile away. I don’t even care if Professor Dumbledore trusts them, like he trusts Professor Snape! They are either on my side, against Lord Voldemort, or they aren’t.

And Hermione too, I can always count on her. And Ginny...well. I just need to protect them since they’re all I have.

What else? Quidditch! GRYFFINDOR! GRYFFINDOR! Being on a broom is BRILLIANT! My dad was good at it too!
I like Pumpkin juice. I’m... a Parselmouth. I hate that I am, but I am. And I need to learn to control my magic. Things happen when I don’t mean them to..and things don’t always happen when I want them to!

Okay, so the decision is that we're just going to use the other characters to a minimum godmodding until maybe some other people would like to play them. Also, to make things easier, I cleared all the other names for now because we'll let other people pick things for themselves.

Made-Ups are still allowed/needed. Also you can still apply to be a character if you have not already.

I'm going to post the First Day a little early. The First Day will be a three day roleplay which after will lead to the Next Week and so on and so forth.

Day One

All the students crowded around the train station, saying goodbye to their families and pulling their heavy luggage onto the train. Everyone was ecstatic about going to Hogwarts again this year, especially the First Years who were jumping around uncontrollably.

Not a long time later, the train started to move and everyone was on their way to their favorite school. All the kids went towards the windows to wave goodbye to their parents until the train moved when they were out of sight. After that, everyone waited in their compartments, talking to friends, sleeping, or waiting for the Sweets Trolley to come past them.

Harry Potter, yet again was left to be stuck with quirky and dreamy Luna Lovegood and clumsy plant-lover Neville Longbottom. The three sat in their compartments silently, except for the fact that Luna was spitting out random facts/comments about the Quibbler and basically mystical creatures that the boys had never heard of. Soon, Ginny came into the compartment, swaying with the breeze, and Harry just gaped at her for reasons he didn’t know. Ginny sat next to Luna on one side of her while the other side was left empty. Harry would have rather been in another compartment with Ron and Hermione any day, but he couldn’t sit anywhere else or else be stricken by the fact that mad fangirls were chasing him around every hour. But it wasn’t so bad to sit with Ginny or Neville and Luna… for the most part.

Ron, Hermione, and Draco were walking back from their Prefect Duties, but of course, walking separately from each other. Draco returned to the Slytherin compartment where he joined Georgina, Crabbe, Goyle, and Pansy. Georgina usually didn’t sit with this group but her friends’ compartment was already packed with people. Draco sat down next to Pansy Parkinson and put his arm around her shoulder and everyone began talking about the upcoming school year with the new First Years to bully and other losers at Hogwarts and some “other” things … Ron and Hermione past their compartment without sneaking even a glance.

Severus Snape was sitting cross-legged on his seat, staring suspiciously at the Second Years he was sitting with. The two Hufflepuff children were trying to move away from the professor but knew it wouldn’t result in anything good. Severus only sat there silently drinking his tea and giving some glares across the area. He was assigned to monitor the hallways on the train but it was his “tea time” or more of a little “break”. He just wished that he could be at Hogwarts like the rest of the teachers instead of with the snotty-nosed whining brats.

FOR HARRY : A teenaged girl by the name of Romilda comes strolling into the compartment without even knocking on the glass door. She sits next to Luna, but not too close, or else she may get “Luna-cooties”, but her full attention is on Harry. Romilda whispers to Harry that he doesn’t have to hang with these losers and he can go sit with her and her friends. For one thing, Harry wouldn’t have to hear Neville talk about his Memtubulous-thingymabob or Luna with her dreamy comments about everything. But Ginny only scowled at Romilda and turned away from her. Harry, for an odd reason, would have liked to stay with Ginny. Would Harry maybe want to go with Romilda to escape Neville and Luna, or would he defend them and refuse to go with Romilda?

“You don’t have to sit with them,” Romilda said in a stage whisper. Her eye caught the sight of Neville’s bottom poking out from under the seat as he searched for his toad, Trevor.

With a look of disdain at both Neville’s unwieldy position and Luna’s ridiculous Spectrespecs, Romilda sneered, then smiled expectantly at Harry.

“They’re friends of mine,” Harry stated coldly. “YOU didn’t fight with us at the Ministry.”

Romilda, obviously surprised, spun on her heel and left the compartment.

Harry sighed and slouched in his seat. All this ridiculous attention was uncomfortable. He could never tell anyone the truth about what happened in the Ministry that day; he could never share the prophecy about the Half-Blood Prince and Lord Voldemort. Only he and Professor Dumbledore knew the whole truth: Neither can live while the other survives....

Grateful for the company of friends who had fought at his side, Harry struggled to put aside private fears about what the prophecy really meant. Neville had no idea how close he had come to being The Chosen One.

With a deep breath, Harry sat upright. He wished Ron and Hermione would show up!

Harry leaned forward, concentrating on Ginny, Luna and Neville.

And I noticed you don't have a female Slytherin Prefect. I'd like to volunteer Georgina for it if you want one. I was acutally a prefect myself back when I was in highschool. :P (Although to my never ending horror my sweater was bright red, I felt like such a traitor)

Ron walked purposefully through another cabin, lengthening his stride and lifting his head in pride every time he saw someone he knew.

Yeah, that's right, he thought to himself, flashing a smile at some First-Year girls. Mr. Ron the Prefect, coming through! He jumped over the small gap between cabins and made his way proudly through another, each step with more gusto. He flicked his head from cabin to cabin. That's right, blonde girl. I'm watching you. And you, the one in the glasses! Oh, wait...

"Harry!" he grinned, sliding open the door of Harry's compartment and poking his head inside. "And Ginny!" Ron raised his eyebrows, a bit confused. "Luna, Neville." He nodded at the two, still grinning.

"So, Harry, shouldn't you be with your fangirls?" Ron teased, leaning against the side of the doorway. "You wouldn't want to be a heartbreaker, now, would you?"

Harry winced.

“Quit it, Ron,” Harry snapped, “and don’t you have some prefecting to do with Malfoy? Unless you’d rather talk about Fleur....”

His retort did not have the intented effect. Harry deliberately avoided one pair of bright Weasley eyes and concentrated on another.

“Ginny, you’d think having Ron as a prefect would earn us some special privileges,” he said. “You’d think we’d at least get first shot at the lunch trolley, or a chocolate frog by now.”

Ginny turned her gaze towards Harry. Something in her look made him change the subject.

“Where’s Hermione, anyway?” Harry blurted out, slumping back in his seat and crossing his arms. Would he have to endure this teasing for the whole term?

And Malfoy! Harry was certain Draco was up to no good, especially after the events in Diagon Alley.

Things would surely change once...once....

The weight of the prophecy hit him again, and he leaned his head against the window glass.

Georgina sighed as she watched Draco come into the compartment and put his arm around Pansy's shoulders. She was extremely annoyed that her friends hadn't saved her a seat in their compartment, but was gratefull she was sharing one with people she was familiar with.

Of course everyone knew who Draco Malfoy was, and seeing as their mothers were distantly related (As all purebloods are) she knew him a little better than most. She was less thrilled to be sharing a compartment with Pansy, whose obsession with Draco she found rather sickening.

But as she looked across the compartment and considered who she could be sitting next to, Pansy didn't seem quite so bad. Avoiding looking at the two ever present boulders that were Crabbe and Goyle, she turned to Draco and said "I can't believe they let another Weasley be a prefect. I mean what is this school coming to? And the mudblood just makes it even worse".

She smirked and glanced down at the prefect badge pinned to her chest. "At least they got the Slytherin ones right".

“Quit it, Ron,” Harry snapped, “and don’t you have some prefecting to do with Malfoy? Unless you’d rather talk about Fleur....”

Ron rolled his eyes but felt a slight heat creeping up his neck.

"I'll see if I can work on that," Ron grinned, backing away from the door. "Well, if that's all that you had to say..."

"Dunno," Ron shrugged. "Don't care. Probably in one of the other cabins. You know, maybe I should go catch up with her. She's probably wondering where I am... I mean... I mean, you know. Because we're, you know, both prefects..."

Ron slipped away, trying to hide his blushing face. Hopefully Harry hadn't seen that... And if Ginny were to have seen that, well, the teasing would never stop, now would it? He continued down the hallway with a brisker pace, hoping that maybe, if he hurried, he could catch up to Hermione.

Ron slipped out of their compartment, looking slightly pink in the face.
"Have you seen this look on his face?" Ginny said. "There's something going on between him and Hermione, I am sure ... But what is it?"
Noone seamed to be eager to talk about the relationship of Ron and Hermione so Ginny changed the topic.
"Gosh I am hungry. I hope the witch with the sweets will come soon ... I really don't like the breads mom has made us!" she said with a look in her bag.

Hermione sat and talked to the other prefects a while, her mind thinking about all her knew responsibilities and roles at Hogwarts. Ever since Dumbledore the ability to time-travel in third year she was worried about what he thought of her. Now she knew he thought he could trust her.

“Hey sorry I’m going to go find Ron and Harry,” she said to the prefect from Hufflepuff she was sitting with.

With that she got up and made her way through the other carriages to see if she could find anyone she usually sat with. Luckily she passed the sweet cart on the way and ordered her friends a few chocolate frogs; just something to show that, even though she was a prefect, she hadn’t forgotten those guys. Just as she was putting away her purse Ron appeared from another compartment.

“Hi,” Hermione said grinning at the familiar redhead, “what you up to?”

The weight of his Mimbulus mimbletonia was holding him down in his seat while he scrambled to carry it in a dignified manner. Neville finally just put the plant on the floor and let out a small sigh of relief. His face was red from the close distance between the Mimbulus and him. But it was also the heat that was getting him too. At least the window was open a crack ...

Neville watched Ron come in quickly and gave a short and shy welcome by giving a little wave to him. He remained silent most of the time, occasionally sneaking a glance at Luna, or more likely, her newspaper. The way that she could just do anything in front of a crowd was a bit amazing to him. When he didn't realise it, Ron left the compartment, with Neville only hearing a few words like "catch up" and "Prefects". Probably something to do with his Prefect duties and that he shouldn't be late.

Now that the room again was silent, Neville began to talk again, but not about his Mimbulus mimbletonia.

"You can have a bit of my food, Ginny." Neville began to reach into his pocket and take out a crumpled paper bag. "Pepper Imps. Just be careful, because they make you breathe fire." How horrible. He thought he was beginning to sound like Luna.

Harry watched Ron leave the compartment, and felt like kicking himself. He ran a hand through his shaggy hair and hoped this new wave of Harrymania would die down soon so things could get back to normal. "Normal?" he thought to himself, "Sirius is dead, Inferi might be on the loose, and Malfoy is planning something...."

Things would never be normal again. The reality of Sirius being dead hit him for the thousandth time. If he had any chance at all to avenge to murder of his godfather and confront Voldemort, he'd be needing his friends. He grumbled to himself yet again about Ron and Hermione being busy with prefect duties, but at least they could keep an eye on Malfoy, and let him know if anything suspicious was going on.

"Have you seen this look on his face?" Ginny said. "There's something going on between him and Hermione, I am sure ... But what is it?"

"I didn't notice, Ginny," Harry responded. He considered the quizzical look on her face and suppressed a smile.

"Gosh I am hungry. I hope the witch with the sweets will come soon ... I really don't like the breads mom has made us!" she said with a look in her bag.

Struggling to put aside his worries, he was grateful for the distraction of his growling stomach. "But your mom is the best cook ever!" Harry said, "Loads better than the scraps I get at the Dursley's at least."

As Neville offered a package of Pepper Imps to Ginny, Harry hungrily eyed the fresh bread Ginny had put aside.

"Hello, dearies!" the witch with the sweet cart cackled at the door, "Fancy something more than these chocolate frogs your friend sent?" She held out a parcel, and Harry took it, feeling ashamed he'd been so hard on Ron and Hermione for being prefects. He dug in his pocket for his pouch of galleons.

"We'll take Chocoballs, Cauldron Cakes, pumpkin juice....." Harry considered, "and a few of those treacle tarts! Enough for everyone."

He stuffed two chocolate frogs in his mouth and paid up.

Ginny took the Pepper Imps Neville had offered her. "Thanks." she said, laughing a little because of his strange comment. She put her bread - with Corned Beef! - aside.

Finally the witch with the cart came to their compartment and Harry bought loads of chocolate for everybody.
"You know Harry, you don't have to do this ..." she said, feeling a little uncomfortable. He didn't reply, instead handed her a piece of cauldron cake. She started to eat and with a full mouth she said "Thanfs, I fust love fese."

Time had passed quickly and soon they would be arriving at Hogwarts, for another year at the greatest school in the world.
Ginny was looking forward to her fifth year, which was a very important one. But while eating and looking out of the window she also thought of the dangers from which they had suffered and about him-who-must-not-be-named ...

Luna was preoccupied with the latest issue of The Quibbler. Nobody had read this copy yet - an owl had just delivered it straight from Daddy's office. Now, this issue was particularly fascinating. She had read page 34 ten times since the journey aboard the scarlet train had begun, still searching for the weekly Hidden Hex (Win a collection of Butterbeer corks from seventy-three different countries!). With no luck so far, she folded the magazine neatly and surveyed her companions with curiosity, trying to pick up the conversation so she may contribute. "Did any of you know that the Ministry of Magic employees are secretly Blast-Ended Skrewts, who disguise themselves as Wizards and Witches but are really plotting a revolution?" she said, in her vague and dreamy tone.

((OOC: I can't remember who's still in the compartment, so I just didn't mention anyone! :p It's a good job Luna has a habit of coming out with random facts at inappropriate times, because I haven't been keeping track of the conversation!))

Ron wandered aimlessly through the cabins, still wondering where his bushy-haired friend could be. He brushed past a group of giggling Second-Years and held his head up high. He had gotten a bit taller over the summer and he was sure that at least someone would notice. He glanced behind him, wondering who was sitting in that compartment... When he crashed into another rather tall person. He stumbled backwards, mumbled a "Scuse me..." He suddenly realized it was Hermione.

“Hi,” Hermione said grinning at the familiar redhead, “what you up to?”

"Oh, not much," Ron shrugged, leaning up against one of the compartment doors. "I was just speaking with Harry, actually... He was down there with Ginny and Loony and Nev. How are you doing, then?"

Neville had a few Chocoballs and Cauldron Cakes shoved into his hands, as if he were being forced to eat it. Which he wouldn't mind to. Although, Pumpkin Pastries weren't his favorite thing to eat. What was worse was having Chocolate Frogs, which made him think everytime that he was actually eating Trevor. Luckly, Trevor was shipped away in his luggage compartment pocket.

"Um ... I'll have a Licorice Wand, Drooble's Best Blowing Gum, and a ... uh ... Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans, please."

Neville fished into his pocket to retrieve five sickles and a knut where he almost spilled the contents onto the floor. He felt clumsy, always had, and he shyly gave the money to the elderly witch who still had her hand stretched out impatiently.

"Here you go ... Sorry m'am."

Neville paid up and she finally left, much to Neville's relief. Everyone was munching and crunching on their food when there was another Luna comment.

"Did any of you know that the Ministry of Magic employees are secretly Blast-Ended Skrewts, who disguise themselves as Wizards and Witches but are really plotting a revolution?"

He ignored it.

Harry filled up on sweets, and still had room for Ginny’s discarded corned-beef sandwich. Luna seemed too absorbed in the Quibbler to even notice the still-almost-full tray of cakes and candies.

"Did any of you know that the Ministry of Magic employees are secretly Blast-Ended Skrewts, who disguise themselves as Wizards and Witches but are really plotting a revolution?" Luna asked, with her usual dreaminess, folding up the Quibbler neatly beside her.

Harry, by now used to her non-sequiturs, gulped down some pumpkin juice and unwrapped the last chocolate frog, which leapt from the parcel and landed on Luna’s knee. She did not notice, and just looked politely at Harry for a response.

“Mr. Weasely works for the Ministry,” Harry contributed, keeping an eye on the frog, “I dare say Ginny here is a blast-ended skrewt too, in that case. Or maybe one of those...what do you call them, Luna? Wrackspurts?”

Luna’s expression was so far away, Harry wasn’t even sure she had heard him. She certainly hadn’t noticed the chocolate frog, now perched dangerously on her knee and staring at Neville, who seemed particularly distressed about the harmless animated sweet.

Ginny most certainly had heard him though! Harry was lucky she was still chewing a hearty mouthful of treacle tart.

“Quite indeed, and thank Merlin for that! The Hufflepuffs are a bunch of cowards who are too scared to speak up and the Ravenclaws aren’t any better. Gryffindors, ha! Disgusting, that damn blood traitor is too busy ogling that beaver faced mudblood.”

“Thank Merlin for us Slytherins. We’re the only ones keeping the school form running itself to the ground.”

Severus Snape moved down the corridor of the train, his cape billowing out from behind him. As he passed, the students jumped out of his way - an action that was nearly always met with a sneer from Snape. He saw no reason why it had to be him that chaperoned the train ride. Certainly one of the lesser teachers could handle it, instead of making him waste his time as such.

He stopped suddenly in front of one of the sitting rooms on the train. Grabbing ahold of the handles, he flung the doors aside, revealing Harry sitting inside.

Harry looked up at Professor Snape, and he felt the familiar, hot hatred fill his belly.

"Professor," he nodded in cold greeting, his eyes boldly returning the malice in Snape's eyes. His greeting was anything but welcoming; Harry knew Snape would be happier if Harry did not exist at all, or better yet...was dead.

Although Harry felt like mentioning his Outstanding grade in Defense Against the Dark Arts last term, he felt the less said about this, the better. Snape was surely to have some cutting comment about Harry's failed attempts at non-verbal spell-casting and Occlumency in his private lessons. Thankfully, Dumbledore himself would be taking over Harry's private tutoring this year.

Harry felt Snape's eyes bore into him and he resisted the temptation to look away. Snape's skills at Legilimency were all too familiar to Harry, and he concentrated only on his anger and hatred.

"Death Eater!" Harry shouted silently with his gaze, "Traitor!"

"We have two years left including this one Draco" she replied, resisting the urge to roll her eyes "And I don't know how I'm going to stand being around a bunch of muggle lovers and mudbloods for another two years. Disgusting indeed".

"You know, it's too bad we can't just use our prefect powers throw the lot of them in the dungeons or the lake or something. Trash like that just clutters up the school and takes space away from those of us who are really worthy to be there.

"Oh, not much," Ron shrugged, leaning up against one of the compartment doors. "I was just speaking with Harry, actually... He was down there with Ginny and Loony and Nev. How are you doing, then?"

Hermione grinned at him, allowing her now tiny teeth she was so proud of to show.
"I'm great thanks. Ohmygod Ron you look taller, are you?"
She didn't wait for his reply before grabbing his hand and dragging him off down the train.

Prof Snape tilted his head back slightly as his eyes narrowed. There was a hint of something, although he wasn't sure exactly what it was that he was sensing. He looked Harry over as he thought to himself that this no-talent...boy before him couldn't possibly be trying to infiltrate his mind.

He raised his eyebrow slowly as his eyes traveled around the room, stopping briefly at each of the other occupants.

"You'd be wise to remember your place Potter" he said with a snare. He eyes fell back onto Harry for just a moment before he jerked the doors shut, spun on his heel, and headed back down the corridor.

Whatever the reason for Snape's abrupt departure from the compartment, Harry was relieved. He was not in the mood to be tested.

As the Hogwart's Express made it's final approach to their destination, Harry busied himself with gathering his luggage.

The train screeched as it rolled in to Hogsmeade Station. Luna smiled serenely, picking up The Quibbler and stashing it away in her suitcase, which was decorated with what appeared to be several large carrots dangling on lengths of string from the case's handle.
"I'll carry this owl for Ron." she stated in her distant voice, picking up Pigwidgeons cage. She followed her companions out of the compartment, into the Hogsmeade night. Nodding to the thestrals in acknowledgement as she passed, she hopped into a carriage. "Now.. Let's see.." she rummaged through her pockets, eventually brandishing an odd-looking device with funny-looking brass knobs, painted in an incipid lime. "It's new." she announced to the carriage, as though that explained the queer instruments entire purpose and functionality to the curious and confused faces of her friends.

Hermione grinned at him, allowing her now tiny teeth she was so proud of to show.
"I'm great thanks. Ohmygod Ron you look taller, are you?"

"Actually, yes, I did get a bit taller," he lengthened out to his full height proudly. "In fact-" Before he could finish, Hermione snatched his hand and dragged him down the train.

"Where did you say everyone was?" she asked.

"Um, down that way," he pointed in the opposite direction they were going, feeling a slight blush again. Okay, so she's holding your hand. Big whoop! I mean, she holds Harry's hand, right? Yeah. Whatever.

Just as he was about to say something about Harry and hand-holding, the train screeched to a stop and the two of them tumbled into another compartment. He noticed a couple of Third-Years in the compartment pointing at the two and making kissy faces. He fought back the urge to blush and helped Hermione back to her feet, albeit a bit wobbly.

"I suppose we'd better go get our bags, then," Ron shrugged and gestured in the general direction of the prefect cabin. "It's not a very long walk, is it? One or two compartments?" He jumped into the next compartment, for just a moment amazed by how late it had become. Ron grabbed his bags, noticing in shock that Pigwidgeon was missing. He searched frantically around the cabin, then suddenly remembered he had left it with Harry. Of course. Harry probably has it. He sighed in relief and departed the train with Hermione at his side.

Hermione blushed with embarrassment as she and Ron fell on top of each other and into another compartment as the train screeched to a halt. A couple of Third-Years in the compartment were pointing and making kissy faces at the two of them. Ron helped Hermione back onto her feet again, ignoring the requests of the Third-Years to make out.

“We’d better go get our bags,” Ron said, stumbling back into the previous compartment, “It’s not far.”

Hermione nodded and followed him, snatching up her black and pink over the shoulder sack that Viktor Krum had given her while she had visited him in Bulgaria over the summer. She wasn’t about to tell Ron that as he seemed to act very weirdly whenever Hermione talked about Viktor.

“I can’t believe we’re back,” Hermione spouted the usual back-to-school burble that came out every time they arrived back at Hogsmeade Station for another year.

She followed the crowd of people out onto the platform and looked for Harry, who apparently had been sitting with Ginny and [b]Neville if Ron was right. She shivered, feeling the cold Hogsmeade air nipping her bare shoulders and wished she’d been more sensible in how she’d dressed. She couldn’t believe she’d forgotten to change into her robes and it had got late so quickly! She shivered again and hugged her hands to her arms, pondering whether to delve now into her case to retrieve her jacket.

Harry dragged his trunk down the crowded corridor and held Hedwig's cage as high above the throng as he could.

Out on the platform, he could see Ginny and Ron, obviously looking for him. He banged his elbow against the window and called to them, but they didn't seem to hear.

If only this line would move faster!

The crowd stalled and Harry set down Hedwig's cage on his trunk. He looked into the nearest compartment and saw Draco and his cronies discussing something of obvious interest to them all. If only he could slip on his Invisibility Cloak and somehow get inside!

Harry concentrated on the back of Neville's head. In case Draco and his gang of morons looked his way, he didn't want them to realize he'd noticed them....

Parvati jumped from the train, with butterflies in her stomach. She couldn't wait to see what this year had in store for her. Of course she wasn't excited for the drama or anything bad that was to happen. There were other things she was excited about perhaps seeing her crush (she's the only one who knows who it is) or just meeting new people.

She pulled her trunk out of the compartment and began to trudge out of the train, just as somebody stopped her. This person was familar, but it came by some sort of surprise.

It crossed Harry's mind to consider if Malfoy might be any different this year, considering his father was imprisoned in Azkhaban. But the moment passed as he realized that Draco had certainly noticed him...

He still acted as if they were dating, but truthfully she had gotten rid of him because he in fact always bragged that one day he knew that he would become one of the most powerful wizards. He clasped onto her hand urging her back in his direction then spoke.

"Here" Ron said, draping his oversized coat around Hermione's shaking shoulders. She smiled up at him, making herself cosy as the heat from his body passed into her through the coat he had just been wearing.

Ophelia stepped out of the Three Broomsticks, where she had been staying the past few months. There was a chilling breeze in the air tonight, far to cold for a September night Ophelia thought to herself. She gazed down at her watch and let out a small gasp whenshe relaised the time. Late on her first day at Hogwarts, hardly a good start.
Picking up her suitcase and belongings and she half ran, half hoppled down the Hogsmead streets. Panting she reached the school gate just as the carriages to take the other students school were pulling up outside the castle. She paused at the gate for a minute taking in the beauty she saw before her. The castle looked magnificent lit up in the dark, the lights of the great hall reflecting into the school lake so the water sparkled and shimmered. Ophelia nervously made her way up to the School Entrance, being careful to dodge past the carriages that were being pulled by weird horse type animals. Stepping into the Entrance Hall Ophelia paused before taking her seat in the Great Hall. "Home! Sweet home!" Ophelia said and she gazed around the Entrance Hall and smiled brightly.

Ophelia took a seat at the side of the hall. She had not yet been sorted into a house and so could not sit at the house tables. Thousands of students poured into the great hall all laughing merrily or chatting to one another. After everyone had taken their seats at their tables Professor Mcgongall rose from her seat. "Quite down now. As you all know we start each school year with the Sorting of the new students." Professor Mcgongall told the students who were now sitting silently watching the first years that were gathered in a small group at the front of the Great Hall, all of them looking rather nervous and sickly. Professor McGongall placed an old looking wizards hat on a wooden stool. The hat sudden came to life and sprouted a face, that began to sing a strange song about each of the houses. When the hat had finally finished it's song Professor Mcgongall read out the names of the first years, who each sat upon the wooden stool and the hat was placed upon there small heads. The hat would shout out a house and the student would join that table. When the Sorting had finally stopped all the students clapped and began to tuck into the feast of food infront of them. However Professor McGongall clapped her hand together and shouted "We have not finished there yet. The Sorting Hat still has to decide a house for one more person." The whole hall began to whisper and glance around at who the new person could be. "Ophelia Black, would you please make your way forward to the stool, so you can be sorted into a house" Professor Mcgongall shouted across the hall to Ophelia. Ophelia slowly rose from her seat, feeling everyone's eyes on her and she walked forwards towards the front of hall and to the wooden stool.
A few people murmed her surname 'Black' and something about the 'Black Family' though Ophelia was not sure what they meant by this she could tell it was bad because most of the students seemed to be either edging away from her or looking at her with frowned eyebrows. She glanced at the green coloured table which was now looking at her in great interest and a few of the students wore smirks across there unpleasant faces. Finally she reached the wooden stool and nervously lowered herself onto it, trying to avoid eye contact with the people gazing up at her. Professor McGongall placed the Sorting Hat upon her head and a strange voice filled Ophelia's head. "Hmm another Black family member A? Prehaps i should put you in the house of your ancestors the noble house of Slytherin? Or would you do better in the house of your father and mother the brave house of Gryffindor? I see you have a warm heart prehaps you would not do to well in Slytherin who are often ambitious and greedy for power. Yes I think it had better be GRYFFINDOR" The hat shouted and the Gryffindor table half clapped and half gasped. Ophelia happily took her place at the Gryffindor table. Now she was sorted into her house the next task was for Ophelia to find out about the past of father; Sirius Black!

The crowd finally thinned, and Harry moved past Draco's compartment. Part of him wished he'd gotten to contront him then and there about his strange behavior in Diagon Alley. He'd find some way to find out if Draco actually had been branded with the Dark Mark....and what exactly he'd been up to...

Fresh night air greeted him and he breathed deeply, setting down trunk and cage. He scanned the crowd for Ron and Hermione and caught their eye.

“Harry!” Hermione shrieked. “Ron, it’s Harry!”

Finally settled in the Great Hall, Harry, Ron and Hermione watched the Sorting Ceremony with great interest. They cheered for new Gryffindor's and grumbled at the new Slytherin's.

But when a new girl had her turn at the Hat, Harry became paralyzed with confusion. Ophelia Black? The rest of the crowd seemed as confused as he was, and he heard snippets of gossip and speculation. No...Sirius didn't have a child, he would have told Harry! Could it be possible? Did Dumbledore know? Why hadn't anyone told him?

When the Sorting Hat had finished speaking, Harry gasped for air. He hadn't realized he'd been holding it the entire time. He felt faint with a strange mixture of excitement and betrayal, and a large amount of distrust.

Since the Hat had assigned Ophelia to Gryffindor, Harry would just have to find out the truth himself.

Parvati didn’t feel much like going to the Ceremony in the great hall so she made her way up to the Griffindor Common room.

Parvati made her way through the crowded corridor and into the common room. She didn't feel much like dragging her stuff up to the bedroom area, so she swiftly sat down on the couch.

Across the room the fire was crackeling and it made the room glow from golden orange, to red, to emerald, then to yellow. Pavarti suspected that it must have been some sort of enchantment to make it blaze those colors. It was so relaxing to finally be away from the bustle of all the students getting off of the trains and situated into the new school year.

She pulled out her wand from the side pocked of her robe and glanced at the marks made from her cat. Earlier that Summer her cat Lilac had decided to turn all her school materials into rubbish. She figured that it wouldn't be to much damage on her curses and spells.

From somewhere she could hear Hermonie talking to somebody. Parvati didn't feel much like getting up to re-introduce herself, so she just sat there gazing at the fire, waiting for something to happen. That's when she heard a piercing scream come from out in the corridor.

She got up and ran out to the staircase to see that a girl had fallen from one of the moving staircases and all the teachers were rushing to her side to aid. Parvati didn't know what to do, she was just frozen there in shock.

"Believe me Ron," Harry grinned, "I'd let you have them all if I could! And you know I won't be saving the world unless we figure out how we're going to handle Malfoy..."

"All I need is some loony prophecy," Ron stated sincerely. "Something along the lines of... 'While one lives... the fangirls will flock to his side unmercilessly.'"

"Honestly Ron!" Hermione huffed, "all you ever think about is girls! Get a life!"

"Sorry," Ron mumbled, done with his teasing - for the time being. After he suggested they find their way to the carriages, they hurried off and were gently driven to Hogwarts.

Ron sat in his seat in the Great Hall, thoroughly bored out of his mind. It had been fun to cheer on the first few First-Years that joined Gryffindor, but now it was just getting tedious. I mean, honestly, how many more are there? he wondered, leaning his elbows on the table. Oh well, as a prefect, I should probably, you know, try and keep track of the new ones. That one there is... Uh... Tommy? No, Thomas. Timothy? Timmy? Jimmy?

At last, the First-Years were all in their assigned seats, and Ron grinned, staring at the plates that would soon be filled with piles and piles of glorious food.

"We have not finished there yet." What? Oh, come on! "The Sorting Hat still has to decide a house for one more person."

"Oh, yeah?" Ron murmured to Harry. "Where are they? Hiding under the bloody table?" Just in case, Ron kicked his feet back and forth a couple times.

"Ophelia Black, would you please make your way forward to the stool, so you can be sorted into a house."

"Ophelia Bla-" Ron stopped himself. Harry seemed to grow more and more distant whenever they mentioned Sirius. He kept his mouth clamped shut, although he knew Harry's thoughts were swimming around, wondering about this Ophelia girl.

"Yes, I think it'd better be... GRYFFINDOR!"

Ron glanced up and watched as the girl descended down towards the Gryffindor table with a smile on her face. Well, as a prefect, you're going to have to show her around. Or maybe Hermione can do it. They have the whole girl-bonding thing going on, right?

After another boring old speech from Dumbledore, the plates filled with the best, most delicious food Ron had ever seen.

"At last!" Ron smiled and instantly began to fill up his plate with chicken and mashed potatoes and gravy and... Well, basically everything in his sight, until his plate was overflowing and gravy was spilling into his pumpkin juice.

"Cheers, to Harry!" Ron grinned and lifted his glass to Harry as an assorted few followed his toast.

Harry lifted his glass as he saw others were, and wondered why, still entirely distracted by Ophelia Black, who had joined their table.

"Who are we toasting?" he asked no one in particular.

"Cheers, Harry!" a very small first year boy said to him in a quavering voice. Confused, he looked around the table, finally shaken out of his confusion.

He saw Ron's grinning face and groaned in relief.

"Ron," Harry smiled back, "You're just trying to get in my good graces so I direct some girls your way! Cheers! Take your pick!"

Harry grabbed a drumstick moments before the first-year boy, but as soon as he'd taken it, it was magically replaced, and the look on the boy's face was priceless.

He took a bite while loading his plate with more and more food. In between bites of potatos and ham, Harry leaned closer to Ron and Hermione.

"Ron," Harry nodded towards Ophelia, "what do you make of her? Hermione, has the Sorting Hat ever been wrong?"

Appearance: Dana's appearance includes her dishevelled black hair and her light colored eyes. Her wardrobe has some influence on her personality. It includes t-shirts and jeans with the occasional sweatshirt, and indistinct colors making her blend with the crowd. Her eyebrows thick and dark, and her skin is a radiant cream color.

Personality: Can be very impatient a times, simply waiting for short periods of time can be quite excruciating for her. When her day is going wrong she can be tempermental and incredibly scary at points. She is very stubborn and competetive sometimes and is occasionally selfish. She also has this curiousity that amazes some. She is sweet once you get to her, but keeps to herself and can be very quiet. Once you know her extremely well, she can become talkative. She also has her moments where she is wise and smart. She understands people well and is able to help them with problems. Dana is also a dreamer. A big dreamer. She just sits around looking blankly into space, wondering what life would be like if it were a certain way.

Other: Dana has a mother, father, and grandmother back at her house. She also has a little brother, who currently does not go to Hogwarts with her. She lives in London, England. Her favorite memory of home is when the shole family went on a camping trip that turned out to be horrible, but they managed to be at their best, and ended up having an extrordinary time togehter. She can also eat for lond periods of time and still become hungry.

Ophelia glanced down the Gryffindor table at her fellow students. Many of the Gryffindor's were stiring at her, making Ophelia feel uncomfortable. She noticed that one person in particular was looking at her in great interest a look of confusion across his thin face. A boy with bright green eyes and dark messy hair, she noticed a scar across his forehead and instantly knew who he was. Harry Potter! she had saw him before in many newspaper in france at her school Beauxbatons. But why was Harry Potter so interested in her? He was the celebrity not her. When the feast had finally finished Ophelia dragged behind the crowd keeping close to the Gryffindors, she had no idea where Gryffindors stayed and so tried to find a friendly face in the crowd to help her. There wasnt one!

Dana sat down at the far end of the Gryffindor table. She just wanted to go to her room, and sleep. The train ride was colorless, for the two Ravenclaws she sat near payed no attention to her.
The names of first years were called, and after long amounts of pausing from the sorting hat, (who was deciding whether or not to put the child in a Ravenclaw or Slytherin) Dana grew weary.

She did not care what what happening, until she hear the name Ophelia Black. Then she heard whispers from students and could tell there were uneasy feelings. She looked at the girl, who looked slightly older and had a long face and light skin. She had features of the famous Sirius Black, and she knew from the beginning that some people where going to treat her unusual, while others would be hostile towards her. The fact that she was related to Sirius Black did not give her the advantage that Harry Potter had. Being the "chosen one" and all. But, Dana did not think she was an unfriendly person, yet you could not tell just by looking at someone.

Dana snapped out of her train of thought and saw Ophelia had sat down and was eating. The feast! Dana instantly grabbed as much food as she could, making sure to eat every bite. Food to her was comfort. She would eat a much as she could. Of course, she would have to excersize later.

Soon the feast was over and everyone was walking back to the common room. Dana saw Ophelia walking around and could tell she was confused. She decided to go over there and talk to her. Which was odd, usually she was not this outgoing.

"Hmm..." Ron finished chewing and swallowing his mouth-full of potato before answering. "She looks kinda... Depressed... You know, in a way. She looks a little bit like Siri-" Ron stopped himself suddenly. "She looks a little bit... Serious. Boring. You know?" He shrugged bleakly and took another bite of potato before he said anything else stupid.

"Think I should show her around?" Ron asked after an awkward pause. "Me being a prefect, and all. She'll probably want a tour. Or maybe Hermione, you could show her around. You're both girls, aren't you?"

Ophelia glanced around once more for someone to show her where she was to go. She finally found a friendly face in the crowd of Gryffindors. A girl of a similar age or younger with dark hair and pale eyes looking at Ophelia. The girl walked over to Ophelia and Ophelia plucked up the courage to talk to her. "Ermm im a little lost i was wondering could you possibly show me erm...well where to go?" she said, she knew she sounded stupid, but she was feeling so confused and lost that she didn't care where she went as long as she could relax away from stiring eyes.

Dana walked over to Ophelia. Just be calm, and relax, she thought. Dana had not tried to make a new friend in years. Actually, she had no friends. At least here she didn't. Dana smiled as she came to Ophelia.

"Ermm, I'm a little lost, I was wondering could you possibly show me erm... well, where to go?" Ophelia questioned. She could tell there was an uneasy feeling in her voice.

"Oh, yeah sure," Dana replied, giving a quick smile in response. Dana quickly gave a glance around. People were still giving that same look. "Follow me," she said. Dana follow the other Gryffindors to the common room on the seventh floor.

"We just go up these stairs and the rooms will be up there," Dana explained as she headed up the stairs herself, and signaled Ophelia to follow.

Ophelia was glad she had asked the dark hair girl. She would have gotten lost for sure if she had not had someone to direct her to the Common Room. The girl (Dana) seemed like a pleasant kinda person, though she didnt seem to say much. But Ophelia guessed she must just be shy, Ophelia understood how she felt, for she herself was shy too, especially in overcrowed places. When Ophelia and the girl (Dana) finally reached the Gryffindor Common Room Ophelia smiled and asked the girls(Dana) name. "Dana" she answered and Ophelia shook her hand and thanked her for her help. "Well Dana thanks for your help, this place is so huge it would have taken me 2 weeks to find the Common Room. I'm Ophelia by the way, let me sometime if i can repay you in anyway" Ophelia told Dana and with that she waved goodbye and settled herself at a near by chair, close to the roaring fire. People seemed to have stopped stirring at her now, prehaps this place wasn't going to be that bad! Ophelia thought to herself and smiled at the flames that were dancing together in the warmth of the fire.

So I'm not sure if I want to put this on hiatus or put a new person in charge temperarily. If I put it on hiatus, you would have to wait until August and then it may get active again so we can do more roleplaying. .:Draco slumped ontop of the couch inside of the Slytherin common room. He wanted to do something horrible to Potter, the one always getting all the attention, but for what? Being the one He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named couldn't kill? His fame was pathetic, something that should have died a long time ago. Every year something happens and Potter just has to be the hero, save everybodies day or life. Draco sneered at his thoughts. Draco got up and walked over to the fire. He waved his wand towards the fire and shouted out a curse...in the fire an image of Harry appeared...Draco again mummered a curse towards the fire and slowly the image of Harry began to turn into something horrid....it showed Harry laying on the ground slowly dying and Draco standing above him laughing:.

"To bad he's got all those "fakes" to protect him....Someday something horrible will happen to him, and I hope to be there to watch."

"Don't we all wish that" said Georgina, looking over Draco's shoulder. She had been sitting on another couch in the common room, watching him pace around and mutter to himself.

"Well I hope they have something bloody planned by now! It's about damn time that filthy rat lost everything everybody saw in him." said Draco in fury. "He thinks he has more power then any wizard at Hogwarts" Draco paused for a moment to collect his thoughts. "No wait! He thinks he's more powerful then any wizard in the wizardry world. He's pathetic..Voldemort" Draco was so furious he didn't care if he said He-who-must-not-be-named's name. Georgina didn't cringe like the other people when she heard his name she just grinned like she knew a big secret. "Should have tried to his hardest to kill him, every single time he sees Potter. But no poor little Potter gets some kind of mercy every time...and Voldemort is the one that ends up loosing." Draco was now so furious he threw a glass vase against the wall. "He has to go!"

Georgina sighed and pulled her wand out of a pocket in her robes. "Reparo" she said, nonchalantly pointing her wand at the broken vase. The pieces flew back together quickly, and she walked over and picked it up

"You know Draco" she said, putting the vase back on the mantle "All this ranting and raving is really just a waste of your time. As much fun as it appears to be, would out time not be better spent doing some actual planning instead of destroying the decorations?"

"Oh that Hermione" he said in sort of a trance. "She has to go too!"

Georgina smirked and adjusted her badge. "So really, all that's left to do it stop ranting like a loonatic and actually come up with a concrete plan".

"Oh look, the school is putting on a little dance...hm..perfect time to get revenge on that rat. What do you think Georgina?" Draco secretly liked Georgina and her evil side, but personally he thought it would be weak to ask her to the dance, so he began demising a plan how to somehow intertwine his plans for Potter and his plans to ask Georgina to the dance. "Alright lets start planning...we only have a little while before this thing starts....Hm...maybe you and I can go as a couple...so things don't seem so...erm....fishy..." Draco felt like a complete fool, she'll never know his true feelings about her, because now she'll probalby just think he's using her to make Potter jealous.

"Besides my father will probably break out eventually anyways. Remember that one year, several of Voldemorts servants broke out and they had no idea of their whereabouts? Trust me i believe my father can do the same, because that place is just a joke anyways." Draco started to think about his "girlfriend" then responded. "I don't think Pansy will mind...she's gotten a little clingy lately. I have been thinking about ending it with her, but i'm afraid that she'll attempt to kill me or herself." Draco then went and stood in front of Georgina. "Besides it would be much funner with you. The plan would also probably turn out better. Anyways, what is the plan so far?"

Dana woke up feeling uneasy. She just felt uncomfortable, yet did not know the reason. She was probably hungry, she could hear her stomach grumble. Dana gradually changed into some clothes, and left her hair the way it was as she walked down the stairs to the announcement board. Dana did this often. In her first and second years, Dana never read the announcement board, and missed just about everything important. So from her third year all the way to now, she has been keeping up with the announcement board, making sure not a thing was missed. Dana scanned the board carefully. As she read over everything, she noticed something about a dance. It was celebrating being back to Hogwarts. Thoughts were running through her head. Who was she to go with? I mean, she barely knew anyone very well, and she hadn't struck up an actual conversation with anyone. The only thing anyone said to her was, "do you know what the homework is for Charms?" or, "where is the nearest bathroom?" To her this dance was just another way to get made fun of by others because she had no one to go with.

Dana didn't even bother reading the rest of the announcement board. She just sighed and went back to the common room. Her mind began to drift once again, and she became consumed in her own little world, because for her, reality was too complicated.

"We all know Azkaban is a joke Draco" she said, rolling her eyes 'I'm sure they'll be out of there in no time. And it's more fun not funner". She pulled herself up to sit properly on the couch.

"I don't know what the plan is, one hasn't been made yet. And she won't mind yet she's probably go after you or herself? That hardly makes sense". Georgina yawned slightly, getting bored of the conversation. "Look, why don't we just decide later when you've got something concrete to go by, not just a bunch of vase breaking ranting about stupid Potter and his mudblood friends. I'm going to go finish my unpacking".

Georgina then pulled herself up off of the couch and headed for the girls dorms.

I'm just more concentated of getting rid of Potter and not of what I say." Draco got up and sat on the couch next to Georgina. "Besides I don't care what Pansy thinks, I'm sure she'll find another boyfriend eventually. But look at you, you haven't had a boyfriend in awhile. Do you think you would want to go to the dance with me...." Draco cringed at how nice he was trying to be. Just then Georgina got up and headed towards the girls dorms..."Oh i'll think of a plan" just then Draco had an evil grin on his face.

Ron slumped down into a sofa in the common room feeling bloated. He had pretty much consumed half of the country in less than an hour, and he was in need of some serious digesting time.

"Hey, Hermione," Ron rubbed his eyes sleepily. "What's that flyer say? You know, the one over on the noticeboard? Something about a change? A chance?"

Ginny came out of the Defense Against The Dark Arts classroom. "That new teacher is really interesting ..." she said to one of her classmates.
This topic didn't seem to be of great interest as this morning had brought important news: There would be a Welcome Back Ball! Everyone was trying to find a date for the evening.
Ginny was thinking about possible dates for her. The boys of her class weren't really her taste ... And of course she could not ask her ex-boyfriends ...
"Who else is there?!" she thought.
Sunk in her thoughts she bumped into her brother Ron at the Gryffindor common room, where he sat together with Harry.
"Oh, hi you two" she said grinning. "Do you already have a date for the Ball? I am still searching ..."

Harry slumped into a fireside chair in the Gryffindor Common Room. With all the drama during dinner, he hadn't eaten much after all. Ron, however, looked particularly satisfied...if a bit greenish...

He poked at the firebox, almost expecting Sirius to appear as he had in the past. Harry stabbed at the embers trying to make the feeling of missing Sirius disappear along with the lingering glow of the coals, when a strange sloshing noise made him turn his head towards Ron.

"Hey, Harry!" Ron yelled, waving his arm as a gesture to make him look at the flyer. "There's some little dance thing coming up! Think I should beat up all the boys that invite my little sis?"

"Oh great, another ball!" Harry groaned, "if it's as much a disaster as the last one...."

At that moment Ginny flounced into the Common Room, and Harry had to catch his breath for a moment.

"Oh, hi you two" she said grinning. "Do you already have a date for the Ball? I am still searching ..."

Ron gave Ginny a little hug and she instantly pulled away. He ruffled her hair and she gave a scowl before walking away from him.

"Ron, are you thinking of actually going to this thing?" Harry asked, "I mean, if you're going, I might. But we shouldn't wait til the last minute for dates again."

Harry was suddenly acutely aware of Ginny's presence in the room, and wondered if Ron was serious about beating up anyone who asked her.

Dana made her way up to the common room where she found Ginny, Ron, and Harry. They were all talking together, and having fun as usual. She wish she had friends like that. She wish she had friends. Dana went up to her dormitory, grabbed a handful of paper and a pencil, and went back to the common room. Dana loved to draw. It helped her express her feelings instead of telling someone about them. Dana mostly drew pictures of people, just random people. Wherever her pencil went she drew there, and she would draw when she felt like it, and when she did feel the need to draw, her pictures turned out amazing. Now, she did not have "magical abilities", like her pictures showed the future or anything. But when Dana drew, she knew what her feelings were when she looked at her finished picture.

When she came down, she sat in the farthest seat away from the group, for she did not want to bother them. Dana started off drawing eyes (it was where she normally started), then the nose, the mouth, and so forth. She was consumed in her drawing, it was as if nobody was there but her.

The new girl had quietly entered the Common Room. Her dishevelled black hair covered her face as she sat there and sketched, totally absorbed in herself. Harry wondered if she had even noticed them at all.

"I wonder what she's like," Harry thought to himself, "at least I won't get beaten up if I ask her instead of Ginny..."

"Ron, are you thinking of actually going to this thing?" Harry asked, "I mean, if you're going, I might. But we shouldn't wait til the last minute for dates again."

"Well, obviously I wouldn't be asking someone at the last minute again," Ron took a seat next to Harry and put up his feet. "I mean, not that Padma wasn't fun, but I'd really like a real date this time." Like Hermione. Stop it. No. No Hermione!

"So, Hermione!" Ron said suddenly. "Too bad, uh, Victor's still in Bulgaria, right? So you don't have your handsome, suave date anymore." He forced himself to count to ten before continuing. "Who do you think you'll go with, then?" He turned to face Hermione, trying not to show any particular interest. "I mean, obviously no one's asked you... I mean, there's been no time to ask you, of course! But who do you think you'll end up going with?" Smooth. Very smooth, Ron.

"A shame," Ron shrugged, patting Harry on the shoulder apologetically. "But hey, all things happen for a reason, right?" He stopped suddenly, sensing that Harry wanted to move on, and dropped the subject.

Hermione's face flickered - why, he wasn't sure, but he chose to ignore it. "Of course, if the prettiest girl were to ask me out..." He dropped his gaze with a slight coloring in his cheeks. "I wouldn't say no."

"Hey Ginny," Harry said, "are you going with Dean?"

"Well now, that was random," Ron said, lifting his gaze to meet Harry's. However, it appeared that Harry was avoiding looking at him. How odd. "Why would you want to know that, Harry?" He grinned suddenly. "What, you want to come along when I murder Dean in his sleep?" He punched Harry's shoulder with a laugh, trying to ignore the face that Harry's face had gone a bit pale.

In the library she searched for a good book on potions and when she had found one with the help of the librarist, she sat down to read a chapter on "Potions to influence people". "How fitting ..." she thought bitterly.
Concentrating on the text was rather hard for her and suddenly a familiar voice said to her "Uhm, Ginny ..."

Hermione sat still and said nothing; debating whether anyone would actually ask her to the dance. If someone like Ron was wanting to go with the prettiest girl then she had no chance! Still, maybe she wouldn't go at all; the Yule Ball hadn't been that great anyway.

"Well good luck with that," Hermione replied, turning her blushing cheeks away from Ron to look at Harry.
"I'm sorry about you and Cho," she comforted, "you've still got your fangirls!"

Hermione laughed at her own joke and relaxed back into the comfy chair she was sitting in, her feet still perched on Ron's.

Harry looked around the room, wondering what had gotten into everyone. Now Hermione of all people was teasing him? And flirting with Ron? All this over a stupid dance?

"...you want to come along when I murder Dean in his sleep?" Ron asked, giving him a punch in the arm.

Harry grabbed his pack, still sitting beside the chair near the fireplace and went to find Ginny. As he left he heard Ron calling him but he continued on his way.

On the way to the library, Harry checked in his pack for the Marauder’s Map and his Invisibility Cloak. With all the hysteria surrounding this dance, maybe tonight would be a good night to spy on Draco.

Ginny sat in the library with a huge book cracked open in front of her, and her lips moved soundlessly as she read. Harry stopped in his tracks and considered how unlike a child she’d become, how unlike “Ron’s little sister.”. They’d been through so much together and Harry knew he could trust her.

“Uhm, Ginny...” he approached her quietly, “Can I join you?” At her nod, he settled into one of the heavy, hard, uncomfortable chairs, which squeaked and thudded noisily as he drew it near the table.

“Do you really have potions homework?” he whispered unnecessarily, considering he had already raised a few annoyed eyebrows. “Because I need to ask you something....”

He sensed someone standing behind him. When he turned around, he was very relieved it wasn't Draco.

"Well, that's odd," Ron watched as Harry shuffled out of the common room after Ginny. "You don't think he's off to comfort her, or something? I mean, they're just friends, right Hermione?"

He turned to face Hermione, who looked just as confused as he was.

"Well, maybe we should follow them, you know, just in case," Ron was reluctant to move his feet - they were touching Hermione's - but he eventually stood up and stretched out his back. "To the library, then!" Ron grinned and hurried after Harry, who was probably long gone. He made his way carefully down the hallway and peeked into the library, searching for any sign of his red-haired sister or his best friend. Aha! There they are!

“Do you really have potions homework?” Harry whispered. “Because I need to ask you something....”

Ron couldn't help but feel his jaw drop. That couldn't mean... No. They're just friends. Let it go, Ron.

Suddenly Harry turned around to face Ron, and Ron gave a quick smile.

"Didn't you hear me calling you, Harry?" Ron asked casually, taking a seat between Harry and Ginny. "Honestly, it's not so polite to leave someone hanging like that. And you, Ginny!" Ron shook his head in mock disappointment. "Running off like that when I was talking to you! Mother would be disappointed." Ron couldn't help but feel like he was intruding. Well, duh, you fathead!

((I'm back, sorry was a bit busy with exams and stuff last week))

Ophelia stretched as she arose from her bed and pulled back the curtains to be blinded with sunlight. Rubbing her eyes she went over to her suitcase and pulled out a pair of jeans and a girlish top. She paused infront of the mirror and sighed loudly before leaving the dormitory. Running down the stone steps to the Common Room she tripped and fell, landing head first infront of a rather giggly bunch of 1st years. Groaning in embrassment Ophelia picked herself up and flung herself into the nearest chair. Ophelia looked down at a colourful leaflet on the wooden table. "Oh no, not a ball" Ophelia said aloud, making a dark hair girl next to her jump. She had been to many balls in her time at Beauxbatons, each one just as awful as the one before. However this ball might be different, Ophelia thought to herself. The people at Hogwarts seemed a much nicer crowd than them at Beauxbatons. The only problem now was who would she go with?

It was Harry! When she heard his voice, Ginny felt somehow happier suddenly. He said that he wanted to ask her something but then Ron came in as well and started to boss her around.

"Not again .." Ginny thought and wanted to reply something mean but then just sighed. "Leave it Ron, ok?!" she said. "No need to tell me what I am supposed to do and what not, I am old enough, you know?! Fred and George don't treat me like a little kid anymore and you shouldn't as well."
Hermione had appeared as well an dragged Ron away to talk to him alone. Ginny cast her a thankful look.
"Now, Harry, what did you want to ask me?"

The fallen look on Ginny's face spoke volumes, and Harry did his best to swallow the disappointed lump in his throat. The ball would have to wait.

"I have the map and the cloak," Harry said in a low voice, indicating his pack, "now...who is with me?"

She then turned to Ron,

“Ron, Dumbledore has made us prefects this year! We have to set an example for the younger students; not sneak around after lights out on the first evening.”

She looked desperately at Harry and sighed.

“But if you’re all in I guess I’m going too. You all need some common sense!”

I mean, all we know is that the creepy guy in the shop is taking care of something for Draco. It could just be some stupid prank thing." Ron paused, taking a moment to remember exactly what Draco had said. "Of course, you know I'm up for anything that'll get Draco in trouble..."

"Right," Harry looked at each of them in turn, and lowered his voice, "this is the plan...first we have to find Draco."

And with that, they gathered their things and slipped into the corridor. A few twists and turns later, the corridor was deserted, and lit only by a few lone torches.

Harry took out the Marauder's Map and, with a wave, uttered, "I solemnly swear I am up to no good..."

As the little dots began to appear and swirl and move throughout the map of Hogwart's, Harry handed it to Ron, then shook the Invisibility Cloak free of its hiding place.

"Right then, Ron," Harry said, ready to throw the cloak over all of them, "where is he?"

.: Draco walked out of the common room and made his way down to the corridor. He saw a few Griffindor students walk past him. He absolutely despised any student that belongd to Griffindor, so he made up a fake reason to give them some sort of violation.:.

"Hey you." a girl turned around and glared at him. This girl was strangely familiar, but he couldn't place who it was. Her eyes glimmered in the overhead light. She then began to speak.

"Yes is there a problem?" she snapped at him.

"Well now there is, you just disrespected a prefect. Your going to now have detention and have 30 points deducted from Griffindor." he smirked, because the Grifindor's hated when their points for being so perfect started to fade. Draco just loved to take their points away.

"Oh wow. Is that the best you've got, just because you hate Griffindors?"

Draco didn't feel much like discussing what he felt about the filthy name of "Griffindor" that made him cringe, so he walked off. Thoughts of what he could do to Harry Potter flooded into his mind...he just couldn't wait to give Potter what he deserves.

"Right then, Ron," Harry said, "where is he?"

"Let me just..." Ron was always a bit confused with all the different wandering dots. Tonight, however, it was less crowded than usual, to his great relief. "What is Snape doing up?" He watched as the moving Snape dot turned a corner... And wandered right into the lavatories. "Well, what do you know! Snape is a human being with natural human needs..." Ron looked up with a grin, but Harry just looked confused. "Alright, Draco is... Right... There!"

Ron jabbed his finger at the Draco dot which had just stopped next to another Gryffindor, Lily.

"Oy, he's stopped!" Ron whispered, reaching out to show Harry. "Oh wait... Now he's moving again. He's just sort of wandering around the Slytherin corridors..." Ron was cut off by the invisibility cloak fluttering over his face. Hermione squished in close to him and he felt himself growing hot again. "Let's get moving, then!" He handed the map over to Harry and adjusted the cloak carefully so as not to reveal his feet.

"Very nice Draco" said Georgina, quickening her pace to walk directly next to him "But do remember to tell me next time if you're going off on prefect patrol. You know I never miss an oppertunity to torture the Gryffindors".

She paused for a moment as they continued to walk through the corridors. "Did you think of anything to do to Potter and his mudblood friends? Because if you did we should probably head back to the common room before we discuss it. Like my mother always says "The walls have ears you know".

They scuffled through the corridors and Harry thought to stop for a moment; they hadn't checked the whereabouts of Fillch.

It was hot under the cloak and someone's wand was poking uncomfortably into his ribs.

"Shhh," Harry breathed, "I hear something."

They neared the corridors close to the Slytherin common room and pressed against a wall in case someone approached.

Draco, the new girl, and some others were talking.

"Quiet now!" Harry barked in a harsh whisper.

Everyone was writhing about trying to fit beneath the cloak.

Dana walked down the hall, her untidy hair getting in the way of her vision. She moved the strands of hair away from her face, only focusing on the floor as she went to her dormitory. She tried not to think about the dance. It was the only thing she could think about most of the time. Dana could imagine herself eating ice cream from the box (with a large spoon), in the dormitory watching others in their gowns, waiting for their prince charming to come. Of course, she wanted a date like all the other girls, but she had a 10 percent chance of getting one.

Dana looked to her left out the window. It was getting dark. She had better hurry to her room if she didn't want to get points taken away. Besides, the dark frightened her. Actually, it completely freaked her out. But she could manage to stay brave for about a minute, then she would worry.

Out of the corner of her eye, she could see Draco stopping Gryffindors in the hallway, deducting points from them. Dana thought he was rotten, that he had no heart. He was just cold and hollow inside. She never spoke to him or anything of that sort, but she saw the way he treated others, and she hated it.

Finally, she got to the seventh floor and made her way up to the dormitory. Dana sat on her bed and gave one last thought about the dance before drifting off to sleep. She wondered whether or not to show up if she didn't have a date. She wouldn't want to make it seem like she didn't have a date by staying in the dormitory, but if she showed up at the dance, she still wouldn't have a date, and would have possibly no fun at all. That one thought ran through her head when she went to sleep.

Hermione stepped under the cloak and put her arm round Ron's back to steady herself,

"We don't fit under here as well as we did in first year," she joked quietly as they set off towards the Slytherin corridors.

"Shhh," Harry breathed, "I hear something."

Hermione stood still as Harry stopped and leant over to look at the map. She could feel her body starting to sweat and hoped her deoderant wouldn't let her down as she carefully leant across Ron.

"What are we going to do now?" she breathed, "we don't even know if Draco is up to no good!"

She shuffled from foot to foot uneasily, worried about her position as prefect if the three of them were to get caught; she knew this sort of thing wasn't right but for some reason she always seemed to go along with it! Trying to brush her long hair out of her face she whispered softly,

"Guys, I don't think this is a good idea."

Instead of answering her question, Harry turned to Ron and Hermione. They all were up to something, and Ginny would have loved to know what.
The three agreed on a plan but Ron told Ginny that she wouldn't be allowed to come with them. On her inside she screamed "I am not the little girl anymore!" but as the others didn't seem to want to have her along as well, she just sighed and turned back to her book.

A while after Harry, Hermione and her brother had left the library, Ginny saw that it was no use to read the book now, she still couldn't concentrate.
"What did Harry want to ask me?! I hope I'll find time to talk to him tomorrow ..."

She borrowed the book and then slowly walked back to the common room.
On her way she met the Nearly Headless Nick who tried to cheer her up when he saw Ginny's unhappy face. Unfortunately also Peeves appeared and started to make fun of them so Ginny took a short way and was quickly back in the common room, which was not very crowded.

"If only Fred and George were here ... They always find something fun to do." she thought sadly and decided to finally finish her Charms homework, two rolls of parchment that were due the next day.

Remember we should all feel free to treat other characters that no one else is playing like NPC's, so maybe we can write in Filch, Dean, Dumbledore, Snape, Crabbe & Goyle, etc, until (if ever) someone else wants to actually play them. .: Draco swung around to see Georgina talking to him about what he was planning to do to Potter, but he couldn't say much, because at this time he didn't have much of a plan:.

"Well erm...Georgina, I haven't got much of a plan prepared yet, but I think we should get a few more Slytherins to join in what do you think." He brushed a blonde hair back into place. Georgina smiled and gave him the "that's a great idea" look.

.: Inside the common room of the Slytherin House Draco had recruted a few other Slytherins to join his plan. He was yet to figure out what he was going to do, but a few of the other students had brilliant minds. Suddenly they heard the door open and close and they quieted down a bit, but when they saw that it was nobody they continued at their noisy discussion.:.

A small, but vicious looking blond then spoke.
"I think that we should some how humilate him..perhaps ruin his date for the dance?" Draco snapped at this...humilation wasn't far enough punishment for Potter.

"Humiliation!?!?! Oi are you kidding me, it wouldn't effect that rat what-so-ever. I was thinking of something along the lines of painful, to teach him his lesson of always trying to be the hero, and getting in the way of plans." Draco smirked...he could just imagine Harry begging on his knees for Draco to stop or to save him.

"What plans?" a tall skinny boy chimed out.

"Every plan that has been against him in some way. He was supposed to die, so many times, but he ruined those plans just to become the hero." Draco used a mocking voice to say the last part. "We just need something that will teach him a little lesson, maybe he'll finally perish and the world can be freed of his peccadillo" Draco was trying to use big words to make the plan sound way more excruciating, then it probably was going to be. The word peccadillo meant his crime or failure in life.

.: Just then something hit the wall and a vase ontop of the fireplace fell to the ground and shattered. Draco looked around and heard a few scuffeling noises coming from the area where the vase fell.:.

Having been raised by two highly secretive parents, which was necessary in their line of work, Georgina immediately became suspicious after she heard the vase breaking.

"Silence" she hissed, pulling her wand out of her pocket "Everyone be quiet, someone must be in here. And if I find out someone in here left the door open and that's how they got in, whoever left it open will wish he had stayed home this year".

She muttered Reparo, watching the pieces of the vase she had fixed only hours before zoom back together again.

Dana woke up from her slumber. She couldn't get to sleep. Too many thoughts buzzed around her head, such as, "Who would go to the dance with me?" or, "Should I ask someone?" or even, "Should I just stay here in the dormitory?" and, "Shouldn't I make friends first?" Dana couldn't concentrate on anything, not even her sleep. She wanted to make friends, she really did, but she wasn't the most outgoing person. But she was going to make friends, she was determined.

Eventually, Dana got up the courage to make go down to the common room and engage in conversation with someone. When she got downstairs, it was then she realized that she still had her pink monkey pajamas on. Dana could hear giggles and snickering coming from all around the room. This is so embarrassing, she thought to herself. She could feel her cheeks getting warm so she quickly sped upstairs to change.

When she came back down, she could still hear the laughs from others. At least people notice me, she thought trying to gather a smile together. She waited until the laughing deceased, and scanned the room. There weren't alot of people here, but for the ones that were, they were all in groups, chatting away. The only person she saw alone was Ginny Weasley, sitting in a chair. "It's worth a shot," Dana said to herself. She took one deep breath and paced herself as she came to Ginny.

"Uh, h- hi, my names Dana, how are you?" she asked, stuttering a little with her words. Dana felt stupid, but if she wanted friends, she had to start somewhere.

Ginny was a little startled when she heard a voice near her.
She looked up to see a new girl to whom she hadn't spoken before. "Wasn't that the one that had been to Beauxbatons before?!"
"I am sorry, what did you say?!" she inquired. "I am Dana," the girl replied. "Oh, hi, sorry again, I am Ginny" she replied and smiled at Dana. "You are in Harry's year, right? You don't know by any chance where he is?" Ginny asked the other girl hopefully.

"I am sorry, what did you say?!" Ginny inquired.

"I am Dana," she said in response.

"Oh, hi, sorry again, I am Ginny, she replied. Ginny gave a smile, and this eased Dana's nervousness a bit. "You're in Harry's year, right? You don't know by any chance where he is?" Ginny said.

"Oh, I'm afraid I don't," Dana replied sadly. She could tell Ginny was a little disappointed. "But, I could help you find him," Dana replied worriedly. They weren't allowed to roam around Hogwarts at night, especially looking for someone, but Dana would help Ginny out.

She saw a smile appear on Ginny's face. Dana smiled back. She had no idea what was going to happen, but she would try it.

Dana and Ginny set off to find Harry and the others. Dana just hoped they wouldn't get caught.

"Harry, Harry, are you there?" Dana whispered. Dana wanted to turn back around and sleep. Who knows what lurks these hallways. She turned to Ginny, who tiptoed quietly down the hallway.

"I thought I heard something!" Dana said frightened. She felt as if someone was following her and Ginny.

"Shh!" Ginny replied. "Nothing is there."

Dana knew this was wrong. Is having friends this hard? she thought to herself. We practically searched everywhere and still no sign of Harry.
"Maybe he's back in the common room, we could just turn back around and check," Dana asked. Dana turned and saw that the Slytherin common room door was left open, and Ginny was headed in that direction.

"Where are you going!" Dana cried. We're not supposed to go in there!" Ginny paid no attention and continued to walk. Dana gave a sigh as she followed behind.

When they came to the common room, they heard a loud bang, a some girl talking to the other Slytherins. We'll surely be caught, Dana thought.

"Oh, bother, bother, bother," Ron whispered as they slid carefully into the Slytherin common room. The door had conviently been left open. He moved in a bit closer to Harry and removed his wand from poking into Harry's ribs.

He tripped backwards into some sort of hard surface and jumped out of the way just out of the way of the falling vase. It instantly blew into a million pieces when it touched the ground. The three of them beneath the cloak moved out of the way, avoiding the shards of ceramic cutting through their one source of invisibility.

"Oh, bugger," Ron muttered through Harry's hand.

Ron shuffled a few steps backwards, hoping that Harry and Hermione would follow his lead. They would just have to sneak out the door when everyone was preoccupied.

.: Draco walked over to where the vase had fallen. It seemed a little suspicious how a 10 lb. vase could fall on it's own. He began to search for ways it could have fallen, but there was none. Whomever or whatever knocked it over was still in the room. Draco shouted out a spell and the door shut instantly and was locked to whomever the guilty person or thing was. He knew now that no matter what he was going to find what had disturbed their meeting. He intended to have them share Potter's punishment as well.:.

"Georgina take the girls and look around the girls dormatory, see if you can find anybody or anything that might be hiding." She nodded in agreement and set off with a group of girls. "Crab go and look around the boys dormatories and give no mercy to whatever it may be." Crab grinned in evil mischief. "And I myself will be searching down here in the common room. Draco then walked over to the door and stood there, thinking that perhaps whatever was in there would try and pull a fast one and escape.

Members of Slytherin began moving everywhere and searching in every possible place for what may be in there.

She felt a hand grab her wrist and pull her behind a curtain. She and Ginny made sure they stayed quiet. One false move and they would be in huge trouble.

Ophelia swung her bag across her shoulder and headed off for the Library. There had to be a chance that someone there would be a potential date for the ball and to prehaps help her find out more information about her dead father Sirius Black. Ophelia nervously walked up to a scary looking librian.
"Erm i was wondering if you had any records of past students under the surname of Black?" Ophelia asked and the whole library went silent and stirred at Ophelia. Especially Harry Potter and his friends who sitting in the corner of the Library and looking at Ophelia as though she was a ghost.
The Librian face still remained as soar as ever though and she replied crisply "You have to have permission to look into past students records".
Ophelia sighed, ahh well at least it was worth a try. But how would she ever find out about her father if nobody was willing to help her, Ophelia thought miserably to herself. And what was worse was that know she had no chance of getting a date for the ball because everyone was either scared or unsure of her.

Dana's breathing was heavy as she waited in fear. Someone was going to find them eventually, and they couldn't stay behind here forever. Who knows what Draco and the others would do if they were caught. Never had her life been this exciting, or this scary. Right now, she just wanted it to be over with.

Dana looked around. She could see nothing, everything was dark, one of the things she feared most. How long will we be here? she thought. More importantly, what caused that vase to drop? It couldn't be a ghost. But hearing what Draco said, it did not sound like something normal. The palms of her hands were sweaty, and so was her face. If this is what friends normally do, Dana thought, I do not want to be a part of it.

No one had come out the common room door yet, so they were safe so far.

"If we hurry, maybe we can head back to the common room quickly with no trouble," Dana said to Ginny.

Name: If I must, it's Ælfwyn, but I have no idea what my parents were thinking when we moved here! *wince* Couldn't you just call me Elf?
Age: fifteen (but it's only because of a late birthday, I'm really just a few months younger than my peers! And not immature!

Class : wait, but I don't even know my schedule! Oh . . . you mean . . . aah, well, I've always wanted to be a Charms teacher, perhaps. ^^

Appearance: [I]Photo coming shortly, I apologize. Long, fairly straight black hair (really, it's more of a dark brown, but I won't quibble). Deep brown eyes, nearly black. Casual, tomboyish clothing, usually. Often seen with a demure or cheerful expression. Of medium height, several sort of freckly things on the face, but not really. Asian, one-sixteenth French, but you can't really tell, can you? *peers in mirror* Oh no, I have a tangle in my hair!
Personality: I'm not obsessively neat, per se . . . I'm just a compulsive cleaner. I don't care about my outwardly appearance too much . . . but my hair, if it gets so much as a tangle . . . ! Uhm, wait, personality? I'm grumpy, evil, and a reclusive genius! Mwahaha . . . no, not really, not that last part. I must interrupt to inform you she's also a very modest liar. She's usually nice and pleasant. Terminally shy, though. As for my faults, well, I kind of hold a grudge a tad bit long. But usually I do forgive people quickly, because I sort of blow up quickly, sometimes. Sometimes?! All the time!

Sim Aspiration: This is hard; I'm sort of a Knowledge Sim, but not smart enough . . . sort of Pleasure, because I'm lazy and love reading instead of doing homework, unless it's writing or Charms . . . family is boring. Probably Knowledge, because my younger cousins annoy me.
Other: ((*cough* Er, Elfie's getting a bit chatty, go back to your book now. Anyways. Her parents are the archetypal über-achievers, and she always feels pressure to live up to their example. Generally an all-around good student, but she forgets homework assignments quite a bit. Slightly wacky and weird. Typified as that quiet shy girl everyone sort of likes but nobody really knows too well. A sort-of lawyer/PR agent in the making if you can get her out of her shell, with a fairly large vocabulary she doesn't use too much, unless she's writing essays. Pure-blood family, and originally is more of a Slytherin supporter before realizing that even though her family is rather snobbish, they're not really the sort to fall in with Muggle-haters.))

"Yes, yes I'm here," Dana replied, bending over to catch some air. When Dana was able to catch her breath she questioned Ginny. "What was that voice?" she asked. "And how did you know who it was?"

Well whoever was there, Dana thought. It's still back there.

.: Draco stood there with detirmination on his face. He wasn't going to rest until he found what was in their house. He could hear some rummaging up in the girls dormatories. Perhaps the girls had found something..either way nomatter what they were going to find what it was. Just then Georgina slowly decended down the girls dormatory stairs. She shook her head no.:.

"No luck up there...There's nothing to be found...A few of the girls started tossing things around the room, just to make sure it wasn't some sort of invisibilty spell. I'll help look down here now." She said starting to pace aroudn the room.

.: Draco shook his head in agreement. He then thought about what Georgina had said about some sort of invisibility spell.."what if somebody did manage to do that and got into their house to eavesdrop?". He looked deep inside of his mind to try and think of a countercurse.:.

"That voice was my brother Ron ... He, and probably Harry and Hermione as well, used Harry's invisibilty cloak to get into the Slytherin Common Room ..." Ginny replied.

"Ron, are you here?" she said into nowhere. "Yes, we all are," she heard Harry reply instead. "Then take off that cloak!"

When the three were visible again, she could see the relief on Dana's face.
"Now we should really get back to our common room, before some teacher finds us here" Hermione said.
