The Family Tree Project




Create a family of 8.


This means

*Mom
*Dad
*Dad's parents (so they have the last name)
*Children (2)
*Aunt
*Uncle (Make the uncle be related to the dad (brother) )

Move them into a big lot. This will be the regular family's house. You MUST make the grandparents live with you. So that would mean 5 bedrooms plus whatever you want. Obviously, make the aunt and uncle move out.

**************IMPORTANT!!!!!!!!****************: SURVIVE ON THE FUNDS. UNLESS YOU HAVE APARTMENT LIFE, YOU ONLY HAVE 20,000 DOLLARS. SO, UNTIL YOU HAVE LESS THAN $100 LEFT, DON'T DO 'kaching' or 'motherlode'. THEN GET THE DAD, MOM, AND GRANDPA A JOB AND MAKE THEM GET PROMOTED TO GET MONEY. DO NOT I REPEAT---DO NOT USE ANY CHEAT CODES. THIS INCLUDES ALL OF THEM EVEN 'boolprop TestingCheatsEnabled'


Now, you have the grandparents and the family. Get the dad, mom, and grandpa a job. The Grandmother can stay with the children as a "stay at home grandma". If you have nightlife or you downloaded a car, try and get them an SUV or a van.



THE REAL CHALLENGE.

Okay...you probably don't have much money left. So get them a job and get promoted! Keep the family going.


Make sure to play the aunt & uncle regularly. Make them have children. The regular family should have plenty more kids. Try to get the teens off to college if you have TS2 UNIVERSITY.

*YOU LET/MAKE THEM LOSE A JOB

*THE HOUSE BURNS DOWN

*SOCIAL WORKER COMES

*ONE OF THE FAMILY MEMBERS DIES.

Just one question though can you use move objects for decorating?

Yess :) You can use move_objects on ONLY for decorating purposes. No moving kids...anything....

Does it matter what age the children are? and by the way... u said u lose if someone dies...... but what if one of the grandparents die of old age??

How are they supposed to have kids???? That's a family of 8, which means that they've reached the lot limit. You say "no cheats" yet this challenge cannot be played without cheats and hacks to allow more than 8 sims on a lot.

I don't get this challenge. What's the point, how does this differ from normal play?
