Jumpy movements in adult sims?

About every... 5 seconds my sims, no matter what they are doing, jump to the 'hold baby' position. They carry on doing exactly what they are doing, and it doesn't really affect gameplay, but it is SO annoying.

I downloaded the patch and my system meets all requirements.

Does anyone else have this problem? Or does anyone know how to fix it?

There is no patch for TS3. Are you talking about TS2, by any chance? ;)

Well, now that I re-read it, it says it's only for the launcher. And I play this on my Mac and my PC and the same thing is happening...

Truly odd. I haven't experienced this at all and I've been playing.... a lot!

Buggy install? We're all so new to this game, it's going to take us a while to figure out what is borking what. :p And what is a game bug and what is a 'feature'.
