Am I able to catch a Death Fish and a Robot Fish in Riverview? I have looked everywhere and there are no ponds at the science facility and the cemetery. My sim has a want to catch a Death Fish . . . but I can't find one anywhere :(
Can anyone help me with Fishing? Wiki is no help -.-

in Riverview for death fish and vampire fish go to the cemetery around midnight and go to i guess the corner, you'll know you are in the right place cause near the water is a sign that looks like a no fishing sign and you can fish death fish and vampire fish there.. sorry if my directions suck but if you are still stuck i'll post a pic for you..
I've not found robot fish yet :(

Oooh. I'd wondered about that. It's kinda why I haven't played Riverview much xD

Robot fish is by the science lab, there's a no fishing sign there as well. And he's available 24 hours a day '=)

Hmmm, hadn't figured this one out yet - been playing around with creating sims and houses in Riverview and haven't actually gotten in any gameplay in that area yet . . . I'll have to investigate! :)
I was thinking I saw something like a "fish hatchery" or something when looking through Riverview in the map view - I wonder if that might be a good area to find special fish?
You are aware that you can click on a pool of fish and just inspect what fish are in that water without actualy fishing in it, right? Just asking . . .

Yeah, but when you inspect it'll only tell you fish you've already caught. If you haven't caught all the fish in the pond it'll come up unknown. I guess that could help if you caught all the fish except the one you're looking for.

Idk about that. I hadn't caught a deathfish yet, but when I went to the cemetary at night I saw there were deathfish in the pond, so I sent my sim there to fish. Unfortunately, by the time she ran over there, daylight hit (I wasn't paying attention to the time! lol!) and suddenly the deathfish disappeared from the pond!
I have seen the "unidentified" fish noted before though. I'm not sure what is up with that. Also, I needed to catch lobster and was looking around for where the lobster were and was able to catch one in the ponds in the town square. I was able to look at what type fish were there and what kind of lure I would need to catch it, so I went and bought some tuna and caught my first lobster.

Yeah, you're right. I just checked in my game and it showed fish I never caught. I think it might have to do with your fishing level also. It's kind of odd when my child with a high fishing level to detect all the fish in a certain area and her mom can't. Lol.
