I noticed that I could not make a teen a sibling with a adult. :/ Couldn't you do this in 2?

Nope, the teen or children have to have a parent in Sims 2 unless you use a mod that allows aging an adult to younger or older age after you moved them into town.

That's odd. o_O I'm going to have to try this. Did you try dragging the relationship thing both ways? (Teen to Adult/Adult to Teen?)

I had the same problem yesterday. The workaround that I noticed is this:
Create your adult and your teenager and then turn the teeanger into an adult.
Go to the relationship screen and make the two adults sisters (brother/sister-brother/etc), and then go back to turn adult you want, into a teenager.
The tree keeps the sister relationship, unlike in The Sims 2 where it would be dropped.

That is very useful information! I'll have to test when I get home from work and see if it works for me.
Have you tried to see if the same works for adults having young adult children in CAS? I wanted to try and make my family, but my sister and I should be young adults and my parents are not elders yet. lol.
