Here's my first sim born in the Sims 3! I can't remember her name because she was born when I wasn't playing (it was my brothers turn), so the game randomly named her. I wanted to name her Marty. Unfortunately, she doesn't have much of a chin...but I'm sure she'll grow into it!!

mrbenz: It's just a coincidence. I play around with the camera angles a lot and pause on certain frames. Every now and then there's a frame where they sort of "look" at the camera. ... I have no life.

This is Charlie Vandersim. I swear I have sims that AREN'T in the Vandersim family. Really! It's a little confusing, but I basically decided to take the original Vandersims I made when I first got the game, and play them in Riverview starting the way they were when I made them in CAS. I'm crazy like that.

Anyway, Charlie is the son of Charles and Theresa Vandersim, their 2nd son and 4th child in this version of the family. He's Good, and a Virtuoso like his oldest sister.

Nathan & Joe Hall took a dip in the adoption pool. After hearing some horror stories of Theme Hospitalesque bloatyhead children, I was quite surprised that Travis ended up looking quite normal, with the exception of the purple eyes. I may have to edit him to change his eyes to a normal brown.

So I was quickly becoming disappointed in the lack of genetic variation in generation 2 of my legacy.
I was happy when Sev and Cadet were born, though that joy dimmed a bit when I realized Sev was a blue eyed clone of their father, and Cadet was a blue eyed male version of their mother, which despite their AWESOME traits, kinda turned me away from either of them as heirs. So they get pregnant again and have a girl, naturally I'm excited.....until she grows up *sigh*

So we now have 2 sets of clones, and then Austyn. Austyn is the only one with their mothers skintone and their fathers eyes, while her twin Jacksyn is the only one with their mothers eyes.

I'm still trying to figure out where the oldest 3 kids eyes came from, Holly has parents, but I didn't think non-visible genetics would be passed on by maxis sims O.o I also think that Jacksyn may have a darker skintone than their father!

Picking an heir this generation is going to be REALLY hard! I was sure Mariah was out til she hit her teens and I went O.o o.O O.O

Quinn is a Reaper baby, Michael's dumb a$$ refused to get out of the pool when he was exhausted and drowned, I took advantage of his death and Quinn was the result. He's in the lead as heir atm....but not by much :/

Not much is interesting about Hadley, but Sable has YELLOW eyes, which no one in her family has, I'm assuming the game rolled a random on me there, but I love them!

And OBVIOUSLY Leighton is a major competitor because she's a ghost XD

Oh man, I've been looking at this thread for an hour! So adorable, all of your kids! But I just have to ask... How do you guys get such nice close-ups? Is there a mod somewhere that lets you zoom in real close or do you edit the pictures afterwards? I can't wait for my legacy family to get babies so I can get some cute pictures to post here! :)

Since I FINNALLY just got into my sims 3 game after having it since like June, My neighborhood gen-2 kids are all now toddlers and I have about 8 of them haha, and I am in love with these little kids. I used to hate toddlers in Sims 2, but i love toddlers in Sims 3 :D
