whenever i try to launch my game it starts goes through the intro but as soon as it hits the loading screen it closes.
i dont know what i did but it was working yesteday, the only thing i can think of that might have caused this was ricks debuged console command enabler, and even with that i dont know what to do

Mine would do that once in awhile. But I went in my docs TS3 and deleted the cache files. I've read something about the world ones but I have never messed with them, just the others.

They always come back. But I can still load the game and play and sometimes I don't have to delete them.

1. Remove ALL your mods. You don't have to delete them, just move them out temporarily.
2. Delete all files with the word "cache" in them located in My Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\
3. Try running the game.
4. Didn't work? Rename the My Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\ folder to "The Sims 3 Backup"
5. Try running the game.
6. Didn't work? Uninstall, reinstall, and repatch.
If it DID work on 3 - the problem was your mods. Put back half at a time, delete your cache files, and try running the game. By putting back half, you can test what the problem might be.
If it DID work on 5 - something else in your user files is a problem. Try putting back one folder from within the "The Sims 3 Backup" folder at a time to narrow down what the problem is.

i know how to do all of that exept for number one, how do you remove them? Searching the forum is always a good idea.
Your mods should be installed into:
C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages
Cut the packages folder to your desktop for a temp location, then run the game and tell us if it runs, then re-cut the packages folder back and see if it loads, if it doesn't; then further mod removal (file by file) is needed to determine which problem mods (http://linna.modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=351590) you have installed.
Also you may want to uninstall mods that you installed from the launcher, just make sure you have a back up of all the sims3pack files, which you should if you bought them from EA.
On a side note, I know people will say not to delete the DCBackup folder from:
C:\Users\Ace\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3
But I have noticed that if there are problem mods (*.packages) installed and they are deleted from the mods folder (not from the launcher) then problems may still be an issue, only do this action if you know what you are doing. In this case, don’t touch it; it should be fine as is… I suspect that it may be a *.sims3pack file.

This is happening to me too. I have unistalled and reinstalled the game about four times. It all happened after I tried to download mods earlier today. I've deleted all my content and reset everything from the beginning (which I'm upset about). I have deleted those cache files and tried to play again but nothing is working. I have no idea what to do... :(
