Custom hair shows up weird all of a sudden...(Mac User)

I just noticed that all of all of the custom hairstyles in my game have a huge gap on the back of the neck, it wasnt like this before. does anyone know what might be causing this?

Um, is this Peggy hair? Her hair is porly done like that, and it could be you just began noticing it.

nope, it's nouk's hair that does it...well actually all custom hair with the neck area exposed

Nouk's hair?? She is quite fussy about things like that! Do you have the Combo patch installed? I recall it addressing some hair issues.

yeah, i have the combo patch installed. without it i couldnt run the game on my new mac cuz of quicktime

The Combo patch has nothing to do with QuickTime. That would be the Tiger-QuickTime patches, which are only needed if you are running Tiger, OS X 10.4.11. If you have a new Mac you are running Leopard, OS X 10.5.x.

Did you install the right patch? The Dec2007 Combo patch?

yup, i installed the dec2007 patch and the BonVoyage_1.10.Reissue...

fixed it... unistalled the patches, and when that didnt help I messed around in the gameoptions, idk what I did exactly but the custom hair shows up good again :D

Ah, ok. thanks. I have only heard it called the QuickTime fix, even though there is a different one for each EP.

I'm having the same issue with nouk hair also.

while ingame go to options, and put sim/object detail on high.... thats what fixed it for me :)
