How do I get new non-playable students in universities?

I'm playing the Apocalypse challenge, and my heirs typically choose their partners in university. I keep seeing the same few faces- and after a while, it gets boring. Is it possible to generate new non-playable students in university?

I made a new university, downloaded a dorm from the Sims 2 site and put it in. While the campus is spanking new and interesting, I still get the same old characters that I've already seen (from the other universities.) Please help!

Well, you can create sims and then use one of Inge's thingies (www.simlogical.com) to turn them into townies, and using HP's (hystericalparoxysm.modthesims.info) name string hack thing you can cause them to be generated with different names. Not sure if there's a way of doing it automatically.
