Been playing with a new family for a while now. This is Mia, she's a creative Sim so loves to paint, write and cook. Theres actually an interesting story behind sandi, see shes not my own creation like the others. In my old file i had one of my male sims marry this single mother who had sandi as a teen, well at first i hated her, she had these long thin braided pigtails or something and she just looked ugly. Well when she became a young adult i opened up her in the mirror and changed her hair to this and added the little make up and she became my favorite sim.

Actually, I'm amazed at how well the "half ethnicity" works with her. I love the way different angles and expressions bring out her features and make her look different.

Hey, I haven't posted in a long while. I sorta got bored of this game, but as of late i rekindled my passion for the sims!

So this is the latest sim im playing right now, her name is Amalia Sharp.
Shes a bookwork, heavy sleeper, over-emotional, party animal and a schmoozer.
I still freak out when she randomly bursts out screaming of joy.

Shes in the Journalism career which means she spends a lot of time refining her writing skills.

I take it you don't know about the Jomon Japanese people? They are "aboriginal" Japanese with features that look more Caucasian. Much of a Japan is a mix of Jomon and Yayoi (who have a more "typical" east Asian look), resulting in some Japanese with very distinctive looks.

As for women being in the yakuza, I know it's rare (and usually only for family of gang members), but it's not completely unheard of.

edit; I don't want to derail the thread, so to respond to the below, there have been cases (some high-profile and some low profile) of women oyabun (bosses) in yakuza gangs. Also, when i visited Japan, it was fairly common to see people with distinctive Jomon features.

I take it you don't know about the Jomon Japanese people? They are "aboriginal" Japanese with features that look more Caucasian. Much of a Japan is a mix of Jomon and Yayoi (who have a more "typical" east Asian look), resulting in some Japanese with very distinctive looks.

As for women being in the yakuza, I know it's rare (and usually only for family of gang members), but it's not completely unheard of.

women are not considered members of the yakuza because they are considered weak and are not born to fight but rather born as mothers who take care of the children and their husbands. according to the museum of tattoos " many yakuza gang factions are patriarchal in nature but women are integral parts of japans gangland society. wives, mistresses, and girlfriends of top yakuza figures often undergo extensive tattooing. these women sometimes use tattoos to demonstrate their affiliations with the gang lifestyle. in some cases, its done to show loyalty and obedience to the yakuza member they are involved with ". also, " the only visible woman in the group is the boss’ wife, called ane-san ( 姉上 ). ane-san means "older sister". all members give her the same respect as the boss because she is his wife. however, she does not yet get involved in the business. her position in the group is the boss’ wife, and not a member of a group."

theyre tough cookies, to be sure, but very, VERY rarely are they allowed to get involved with the gangs activities, and usually they have to fight a LOT of sexism from the males to be able to do so. most japanese women do not like to do that, so, they do not participate.

Here is Sisaly's Harlow (Hemming is it?). As you can see, I've sort of changed her a bit as I wanted to make a elf sim. The only difference I made with facial sliders was I very slightly tweaked her eyes so I could give her longer eyelashes. Anyway, I love her and I can see myself playing her religiously for a bit :) .
