There are tons of free to play gaming sites that let you win cash on the net.

Most of them deal with coins, or points, that you can redeem for sweepstakes entries as well as instant wins.

Iwon.com:

I've won from there several times. I've won a ton of amazon.com gift certificates as well as a ton of itunes gift certificates. I also won $50 from there once. They have no pay section, the entire site is free. They are always sure to pay their winners. Iwon also offers chat rooms in all their games.

Cashbreak.com:

Tons of free casino type games, only thing I've ever won there was a free pass to be a paid member where I could play all of the games there instead of just some. Cashbreak also offers chat rooms to all their games.

Pogo.com:

They have a lot of free games, and also a paid member section of games. I find that the free games are just as fun as the paid games, and you can still win a lot of cash even in those. Pogo also offers chat rooms to all their games.

Freeslots.com:

They have free slot machine games only. Everything there is free. The downside is there is a limit to how many sweepstakes entries you can give per day, and it's not a lot. And no chat rooms.

Slingo.com:

Slingo has tons of the funnest (in my opinion) games, all free. Also the players in chat are very helpful and nice. Although it's very hard to win there.

Netwinner.com:

No chat rooms, you pick numbers, and if the computer gets your number then you win something. I've won $25 from there once, however they did me wrong, once I won $250 and they said that they are no longer offering that prize, so they never gave it to me. But when I WON it they WERE offering It! If you don't mind the shady practices, or just like to play for fun, this site may be for you.

:D

This sounds like my kind of money-makin'. I'm too lazy to do anything at the moment.
I need spending money.

Thanks for posting this!

Do these things actually work? I always hear that they're scammes and take your adress/telephone number and spam it.

I personally never got any spams from address or phone number from any of those sites. They do send you emails, if you click that you want to receive emails from them when signing up. I've won before as well, but it is rare to win. I used to be a gamer obsessed, I would play all day long, that's pretty much all I did, that's probably the only reason why I won.

Well, the last time I tried those — not these exact sites, but similar ones — they spammed my email and sent me random issues of Wine Spectator, InStyle, and Oprah and Martha Stewart's magazines for a year. Not to mention Elle Decor.

I think the ones I listed are reputable, except of course for netwinner.com they don't pay you if you win. But I've had no problems with any of the other ones.

Huh, neat. Do they send money to your home address or via PayPal?

All of those sites will send a check to you in the mail, that you can cash at any bank, because not everyone has paypal. I don't think any of the play for free games use paypal, paypal is mainly used for ebay, and making online donations. But I do know that some of the sites listed are for U.S. only players. Not all of them are like that though, you have to see which ones allow players from other countries.
