View Full Version : Recoloring Issue: Lines on untucked shirt?

I've just finished recoloring my first pair of shorts and shoes and I decided to make them into untucked shorts and lengthen the shirts I was going to use with it. The shirts came out great except for lines which are now on my untucked shirts from the waist line, on the front and back.

I know the alpha layer isn't the issue and I'm pretty sure it's not the texture layer. That leaves the MMM (maxis made mesh). Is this the issue, or is it the texture? How can I fix this so I can move on to more projects?

To make untuckable clothing, you need to use untuckable meshes. Untuckable meshes (top and bottom separates) have no visible seam at the waist, and their UV maps meet up exactly at the waist. That means your shirt texture will be seamless at the waist. Many Maxis shirts do not have untuckable meshes. Try searching clothing downloads for untuckable meshes, there's many. There's even a filter checkbox for untuckable.
