*Sims 3 Batman Villains* Ivy- A Whole New Face, makeup and more!

Hey everyone!

After seeing Nekonyami's great batman outfits, having a small batman obsession and seeing all the other batman creations in the Creator Feedback forum, I decided I would give it a go, for Sims 3! :D

So here is my first villain, The Riddler! For now I just need feedback for his head (Facial structure, makeup and any better ideas for hair/hat). At the moment, he looks a bit asian but I need him to look more crazy and evil. Though I think that's just the asian skins I downloaded so I'll get another skin. I'm not basing this sim on any particular Riddler, just a basic Riddler. So saying this, I just need to know how to make his face more unique and crazy. :)

Hehe, i had flashbacks of Jim Carrey as the riddler in one movie , um anyways his nose is good but his jaw makes him look like..a sissy xD a squared jaw might be good but not something too much and maybe try finding more arched or thin eyebrows? to give him the "oh really?" sort of look, i have a good feeling about this one :D

bring his brow out a bit to try and get some shadow below them, the riddler has a similar facial structure to the joker so pointy features and sunken evil looking eyes are a must.

Ok! I made the changes that were suggested and here he is! Now he has a mask and that will stay on when making his face sculpt because without it, he looks really weird! I did change the eyebrows but you can't really see them anyway, what do you think? The bit just above his nose where it is pointy isn't the mask, it's his eyebrows that make it look really weird. :p

Ok, I've made the mask brighter but I think it's a bit too bright now. I also changed the hat a bit though I don't like how I changed the ribbon to green so I'm going to change it back.

I think the mask goes too far under his eyes. i'd also lower his eyebrows. and point his nose up a bit more.

I think he looks really, really good! Could you up turn the corners of his mouth a click or two, make a kind of smirk. He seems like he would always wear a "holier-than-thou" smirk., like he knows something you do not.

Can the pixalization around the facemask be fixed? Plus, in all the comics, his eyes were usally green.

I also like the face mask color as of now. Eddie is so awesome looking!

Thanks Vampy, I'll fix them later. I don't think the stuff around the mask can be fixed though, I think that's just the weird way his face looks!

I think you've done a great job on him...my main issue, however, is with his eyes. I think you need to change his apex and make the top part of his eyes more flat...I just think he looks too wide-eyed, if you know what I mean. Fantastic job on the outfit, btw!

I think it's a great start! But her face is still looking rather maxisy. if you're making a sort of "fantasy" Ivy, being that she's a compilation of various incarnates, then I would try keying in on certain features from various Ivy's that you want to integrate into your Ivy manifestation. For starters, I think her face is too long as it is and her chin is too pointy while her jaw is looking shapeless. I think her eyes are too tilted and maybe her eyebrows too extreme. But like I said, it'd be a lot easier and give you some sort of guidance if you determine which features from which Ivy representations you want to use for your Ivy.

I second everything SWC said, and here is what i have to say:

1- she is too green, more like a witch than Ivy
2- eyes need a different color try a more orange or turquoise color for her
3- when i think of Ivy i imagine her as a seductive lady, she seduces her pray like the flesh eating flower (forgot it's name lol)

I'd say her face is too skinny, and the slope of her eyes and eyebrows make her look seriously cross-eyed! LOL!

So far, though, I love her.

Maybe you could give her a more luscious mouth, as well.

The hair needs to be much longer with more definitive orange and red highlights.

I took pictures with the two hairs that were suggested so I need your opinion. BTW- The only reason her eyes are squinted in the first one is because she's about to blink. :p

I honestly dont think her face matches her personality. I always thought Poison Ivy was a sexy seductress. Honestly your sim looks abit nerdy and not sexy at all. The image Vampire_of_ Death posted is exactly how I've always envisioned her.

I think what you need more than anything is a quality skintone. That one is rubbering and lacks detail and definition.

Looking at the artwork supplied a few posts back, I'd say she should have a shorter face that's more heart-shaped rather than long and thin, with good cheekbones and a pointier chin, and eyes not so close together. A more feminine-looking face - your sim sort of almost looks a bit like a guy. It looks like the eyebrows need to be arched rather than curved, too. The hair looks nice, and if you made her an outfit based on the plunge swimsuit with some sort of leafy pattern applied to it and the tights, it would be a good effect!

Yes, her head is too narrow and long. If you widen it, you will get better eyes and eyebrows. And the less long and more heartshaped her face gets, the more you are going to see what you are looking for.

I LOVE that hair on her. Yes, it's way better than what I suggested.

I've been looking at some tats, and I was wondering if you could go that way instead of clothes, to make her more leafy :-)

The Virgin of Guadeloupe by Robokitty has lots of plant-life on it, but the female face attached just wouldn't cut it for Poison Ivy.

Maybe...just maybe, you could ask Robokitty to design a set of tattoos just for you.

For some reason your sim's face looks long compared with the Ivy pic. I don't know, maybe it's just me, sorry.

Try to make her look more human before making her unique. Right now she has some very non-human proportions and a very cartoony look that isn't very attractive. I still STRONGLY suggest a new skintone and some more realistic eyebrows and lipstick and eyes.

While unique is good and I like the overall effect of her her face, it still needs a little push of humanity. Keep her long nose, but not too long. Keep the lips round but not too round. Keep the eyes slanted but not too slanted, etc. Then you'll have a sim that really reflects what you can do.

Yes, comic Joker, gotta love that. I suggest looking at some of the concept arts from Batman: Arkham Asylum. He looked awesome in it, but you have quite a challenge, he is so hard to sim, I tried and failed. Miserablly.

She is annoying in some respects but there has to be something there, I mean the Joker keeps her around for a reason....

Oh, and I love the idea that she is his practical joke, a woman manipulated to be somewhat of a self-portrait. Their relationship is really developed/complicated. Sounds weird but as a person that detests romance, I like their relationship, it works, no need to fix whats not broken, but her voice, yea, it kinda is like nails on chalk board and she is was too perky for my own tastes, but she is darker and much more likeable in some of the comics, I think she is in "Joker" graphic novel, in fact, here is a link to a picture, I like her costume much better.

The mask's edges look very rough, so a little touch up on that and i think Harley's head is a bit wider than that and maybe some black hair tips?
