I have a silly question....but I am obsessive about order. When you download from this site to my mods/packages can I make seperate folders? This way I know what I have and not get doubles.
Thank You for you time.

If you used the Installer Monkey to create your file structure to support the custom content, then yes, you'll have a configuration file that will allow sub-foldering up to five levels deep.

Thank you so much. Does that actually work or not, was kind of nervous trying it out.

It works.
I personally didn't touch the configuration, but I make new sub folders on my own and all cc shows up just fine.
Also how would I go about adding another folder to it.
Helper monkey has 4 folders under mod/packages. As far as i can remember now are Hacks, Skins, Misc.(Patterns too I think)
1. I adds extra more folders than THE BIG 4.
Such as "Build.(for roofs, doors, windows, stairs) : Clothes : Hairs " etc.
2. Under each main folders, I create many sub folders according to types of CC
Ex. Objects ; I make sub folders of Bed, Bath, Kitchen, Lights, Painting, etc.
"C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages\Objects\Paintings"
and under sub folder of PAINTINGS, I creat another sub folders according to name of the sites or creators cause I downloads many from many sites.
Ex.
C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages\Objects\Paintings\SimsArtGallery
But I did it the way this forum advice the simmers, keep the sub folders not deeper than 3 or 4, otherwise the game can't read the file.
Examples
C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages\Objects\Lights&Curtains
C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages\Objects\Cars
C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages\Hairs\Peggy
C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages\Misc
C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages\Misc\Living room-Bar
C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages\Misc\KitchenClutter
All cc show up fine!
Enjoy organising your sims!:lovestruc

There's no ceremony to adding folders - just click New Folder as normal and the game will pick it up, as long as you don't go more than four deep (i.e. Mods/Packages/Folder 1/Folder 2/Folder 3/Folder 4 will work, but Mods/Packages/Folder 1/Folder 2/Folder 3/Folder 4/Folder 5 won't)
