No CC are working...

Please help me!!!!!

My harddrive went crazy :cry: :cry: , so I had to delete all the files that were in mods, packages.. When I copied the same files back, none of the previous cc are showing up in the game... And the previous families that I were playing with, they aren't there.... Every file should be the same place as before, but it seems like I have to start at the bottom again.... :cry:

You're describing two separate problems: missing cc and missing families. It would be helpful if you could explain in more detail what you mean by your hard drive went crazy, and what actions you took that might have affected the game. Did you do anything other than remove the files from Mods\Packages?

For the missing cc, please review the wiki article Game Help:Installing Sims 3 Package Files and confirm that your Mods\Packages folder is in the game's root folder and that you also have a Resource.cfg file in the root folder. (Please note that the root is in the Program Files path, not in My Documents.)

When you say the families aren't there, do you mean that your previous saved games are missing from the start menu? Or that you can launch your saved game but families are missing from their homes? If it's the first, check in My Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Saves. What files are in there?
