View Full Version : Sticking things on foundation walls

Gah! I could've sworn there was a file called 'walls.txt' somewhere that you could edit to allow things like lights to be attached to the walls of foundations. I remember doing something, somewhere before the patch to enable this, but now everything's come unstuck and I can't find anything to edit - so I'm yelling HEEEELP! :)

All you need is the moveObjects on cheat. That works everytime

Duh! Okay, I've just woken up and posted before turning my brain on - thanks for that, it's bound to do the trick!! :)

another way is to remove the foundation....go to the wall tool...build a wall and then add the foundation back in again.
Now you can hang pictures and lights on this inside wall.

This way you can also make walkout basements....used that trick quit a few times in my buildings with basements.

That was the one! But (weird) I have "mayAttachObjects true" and it don't work no more after the patch!!

Anyone feel like having a look at their own setup and seeing if the same applies to them? I'm just curious now....
