Ok, so i have looked through all of the FAQs and cannot find anything related to this. I have been having a million and one problems installing WA so i finally gave up waiting for an ea response and decided to just play the sims, when i reinstalled the sims (of course no mods or downloads whatsoever, completely new clean and shiny electronic arts folder) the sims by itself would not load (i had never had any problems whatsoever with it). I then decided to reinstall without the new fancy patch and patch only up to 1.4.6, worked like a charm. So (getting back to my original question), i went to reinstall crazytowns story progression mod and it says it is already installed! (i checked my electronic arts folder, i have no mod folder or any download or file that isnt ea). So i am wondering if the mod could somehow be installed in some obscure place (i installed with monkey helper) that wouldnt be deleted when the sims was uninstalled and reinstalled 3 thousand times (i had checked to make sure the electronic arts folder was completely deleted each time i reinstalled). That would then explain why the new patch and wa would not work! oh yeah and i have vista, i know they do weird things with files, if that helps. sorry for my ramblings, just making sure you had all the info, thanks for any help, it would be much appreciated!
