I'm planning on uploading a Taylor sim on Taylor's actual b-day (December 13th) and I want some feedback! :cool:

I can see that you've worked hard on her, but she needs a lot more work, and I doubt that even if you uploaded her today, and if she was accepted, it probably wouldent be up for download on Taylors B-day. And that's not even possible, because she is def not ready. But first, we need some comparison pics of the real person.

Oh well, forget about december 13, i'll upload her another day when she looks like the real deal. Here's a photoshoped pic I found on Tay, I think it's easier to compare pics that look more cartoony like than actual photographs because the facial features pop out more.

Btw, my sim has no face mask or default replacement skin. If anyone knows a link that shows you how to create celebrity face masks, please post it.

I really don't think you're going to need a mask, though. The only thing not quite coming together for her is the eyes.

Now, before I start, please understand that I'm not a total bag. :-) We are here to help your creation be the best it can be. And it likely will be by the time you're done!


Okay. So, the mouth shape looks pretty good. You will want to make the bottom lip a bit wider.

You need less rotation on the eyes and eyebrows. Bring the eyesocket down. Make the eyes a much lighter blue. Different eyeliner, one that doesn't go all the way around would match this picture. If you have eye baggage on her, I think you should remove it. Otherwise, put her eyes back farther using eye depth. They are also too wide, so you'll have to make them narrower, and change the eyelids so they are not so curvy. Hers just scim aross.

More nose mass, a bit less definition on the nose, and tilt the nosetip down some. Widen the bridge for sure.

Her hair will have to change, I think. It's very choppy and the wrong color. You'll need to move the color slider more towards orange a smidgeon, and more towards the middle I think to get the right color started. **However** it would be better to have little to no hair on her while we're working on the face structure. That really helps us solve a lot of issues, if there are any.

Her skin should be darker.

Make the chin a bit bigger, but move the depth back some, and maybe tilt it down more.

I don't know if it's makeup, but the highlights on her cheekbones aren't doing her any favors right now :-)

And also, does anyone know a good hair mesh for her? I was thinking a curly updo with a side bang but can't find any. :|

Shes looking much better.
I think you should take some saturation out of her eyes and make them a little darker.

Narrow her nose bridge

Bring the nostril area down/more leveled out.

Her eyebrows are looking a bit yellowy - make them less saturated.

Widen her lower lip and widen her jaw bones.

Rotate her eyes to be a bit more level

Thin out her cheeks a tiny bit

Make her lipstick more pink and less purplish.

Widen her chin

Play with her lower eyelid. There is no real bulge at the outer corners like yours has.

MAke her eyebrows a little less arched.

Widen her nostils.

Fixx the odd shape at the inner part of her eyebrows. It nees to flow at lot more smoothly instead of having the odd shape it does.

If you want you could make her ears a little bigger

Maybe make her skintone more tanned

Im not a creator, just an observer and taylor lover, but I think she is already the best taylor out right now. The only one Ive seen without a crazy fat nose! Yea, the eyebrows are a bit arched, but I love the color on the eyes, its a perfect match, to me. I'd DL her right now, if I could! BTW, you dont like the curly hairs that were just put up recently on here? I know they dont have bangs, like her, but they look pretty darn good.

I say her eyeborw arch needs to be a little lower.

her lower nose. nostril area needs to be wider and her bridge a LITTLE BIT narrower.

her eyebrows need to be less greeny/yellow and more golden couloured.

Thin out her cheeks justa little

widen her chin a little

take away more saturation from her eyes

Make her make-up less bright and a little mmore muted all around Go for a somewhat more reddish lipstick, less pink

make her face a litttle shorter

Bring her chin down a little

see if you can make her skintone more bronze-y and darkened a little. More tanned.


Shes looking great!! She'll be ready in no time if this keeps up! Its astonishing to compare her to her original picture!

Guys, I am terribly sorry for keeping you waiting! The thing is I can't access the game anymore because I foolishly updated it to the latest patch (version 1.8.25) and now my game is ruined for the moment. I know I could simply uninstall it but If I do, I'll lose all of my houshold saves, CC and the many things I bought at TheSims3 store! And there's no guarantee that it will work perfectly afterwards.

But so far, EA has come up with nothing to help us out.

So I ask you to please be patient with me. And do not think I gave up on her (I would never do such a thing behind your backs!) And I promise that I'll get back at her as soon as EA fixes this problem! :|

You can uninstall and it won't delete your saves.

Well I have read some of the complaints and people have reported that crazy stuff happens after reinstalling the game and I do not want to take that risk.

dont worry about it. The same exact thing happened to me and all you need to do is copy all the stuff you dont want to lose to your desktop and then ninstall the game and replace anything you could have lost. and everything you bought in the store, your game still stores your sims 3 packs in a folder that i forget right now. its in the my documents section. reinstalling wont be a hassle, but whatever you do, when you play the game again DONT UPDATE VIA BROWSER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
that shall be the end of you. i would suggest getting the patches from MTS. if you update via browser they WILL update you to the latest patch even if you dont select "automatic Updates"
but once you do that it will work perfectly

Move eyelids down and then eyebrows down with it. Then move eyes up. Also make the jaw a little more defined.
