What happens if you delete custom genetics?

I know that Sims would go bald when custom hair is deleted, but what happens when one deletes custom skintone or eyes?

I have a set of custom eyes in my game, and I am wondering what will happen to the Sims wearing them, if I delete those eyes. They are not default replacements; they are just custom, geneticised eyes. Will the Sims have no eyes or have the Maxis eyes of the corresponding color?

They will get some Maxis genetics instead of the lost Custom Content genetic.
