Dress toddlers in outerwear?

I got seasons a while ago but haven't had a toddler in the game until now. And I've tried everything I can think of but I just can't seem to get them dressed up in their outerwear. Everytime the kid goes outside it freezes. I tried the changing table and there wasn't an outerwear option, and they won't change with the coat hook thingy. How do you do it?

The changing table should work. Do you have the latest patch? That might solve the problem.

If you are using a cc changing table, it may not have been updated with the Seasons outerwear option. If you are using an EAxis changing table, then you should work through Game Help:Game Problem to identify the source of the glitch.

Once you get the problem fixed, keep in mind that even dressed in outerwear, Sims outside in the cold too long freeze.
