I used to play SiMs 2 on my old lap top but then I stopped doing so when my game started to crash whenever my adult sims were having birthdays and turning into an elder
I got a new lap top this fall and I put up my game (with expansions: University, Nightlife, Open For Business, Pets and Seasons as well as Glamorous Lifestyle) this December.
I put my old user files and the birthday problem does not occur now. I've had some problems but they have all been fixed with patches.
Except today I found a new problem involving, Open for Business. If I try to make a single plate of any dessert, there is not option for it. I click: "Make single plate" but anything related with dessert (gelatin, Crepé Suzette, Berry Pie...) does not show up.
I first noticed when playing J'Adore Bakery but I also tested it at home as well as in two other houses and everywhere I have the same problem. I can though make a single plate of everything else.
Yes my sims have the cooking skill to make those desserts and making a group meal is no problem as well as serving a dessert.
I have patched the game, I have gone through the game problem thing to the end (except for reinstalling). I have a good space, the game works.
So I'm lost...
