Do your sims seem to inherit minor versions of traits?

One of my sims was a neat freak. His child was not. Yet she constantly cleaned up everything she saw. None of her other traits would lead to this. None would conflict with it, either. So my assuption is that she inherited her neatness from her father- despite not actually having the trait itself.

Similarly, a CAS-made family has a child who is a never-nude. The mother is nothing CLOSE to never-nude. She's brave and outgoing and all sorts of opposites to the idea of being afraid of being naked. And yet...when she showers, she wears a towel in the shower(ridiculous). Did the game randomly decide that she should have pieces of the never-nude trait because her biological son had it?

What do you think? Have you seen anything similar?

Was the parent of the neat freak a maid? They're meant to pass on the makes no messes hidden trait.

Neurotic sims, perfectionist sims and at least one other trait (can't remember which) will also clean autonomously.

I haven't had never nude sims so no idea on that one!

Nope, just a normal self-made sim.

I didnt know Neurotics and perfectionists were clean...though that makes sense.

The mom's traits are:
Daredevil
Athletic
Adventurous
Brave
Clumsy

Maybe it was a "clumsy accident" kind of thing...

Do you have any CC clothing? I think someone else had the problem of their sim wearing high heels in the shower and it was caused by the CC.
