How can i avoid this?

I'm building a house with double garage, but i want the foundations of the house to join up to the garage, without shrinking, how can i do this....

There is a bunch of tutorials for garages/driveways in the Wiki here (http://www.sims2wiki.info/wiki.php?title=Tutorials:Garage_Tutorials).

They are easy to understand and will tell you what you need to know. I used them when I first started building the garages attached to the foundations, and they helped me immensely.

The trick is using the cheats correctly and patience- I still sometimes have trouble when I'm attempting something particularly tricky.

Also, there are svral in the Exchange in the story section. It lets you also build an awsome carport! :D
