Is there a way to make custom content available in vacation lots?

I'm sorry if there is an answer to this but I looked in the help section and unless I totally missed it I need help.

I want to make a Tikki hotel and use some tikki things and they don't appear in the vacation neighborhoods.

In order to better solve your problem, please go through the following as listed below:

General - Do the Game Problem FAQ
You appear to have not gone through our main Game Help:Game Problem FAQ. Please go through and do the steps on this FAQ, including any others that it links to (for example the Game Help:Game Problem-Problem Custom Content FAQ).

Usually, in the vast majority of cases, actually going through and doing the steps (doing, not just reading) fixes issues - sometimes you may be asked to remove custom content, or to patch - please rest assured that all of our FAQs have been tested by our staff and volunteers and we wouldn't suggest you do something unless it's been known to fix particular issues.

All custom content that you have downloaded is supposed to appear in all neighborhoods. The only exception to this is if something is flagged as residential or community lot only. When you're doing the Game Problem faq and get to the remove custom content part, try this:
Remove all CC except for some BV recolors and new meshes. I suggest these ones specifically because I know that they work.

OK, I did all what the guides said...at least I think I did. I am kinda dumb when it comes to computers and guides and I don't understand a lot of things. So far there seems to be no problem with any custom content. I just want custom content to appear in vacation lots. You said something about flagged as residential etc. How can I, if I can, flag something as vacation?

OK now I'm confused. I went to make a completely different hotel in the same vacation neighborhood but across from the one I was trying to make. And the stuff I wanted was there! But then I went back to the first lot and the stuff wasn't there. So I have no idea why it would show up in the same neighborhood but different lots. So yeah...I'll just make my hotel where the stuff shows up. Thanks for the help.
