Can't Install!

I have a problem installing items to my game. I have all the EPs and SPs (World Adventures and High-End Loft Stuff) with the latest patches. I have some store files and when I double click them and install them, it says they install successfully, but then I look in installed content and nothing is there and it's not in the game. I saw this before on the site and there are so many topics about it, but none of them seem to help. What can I do to install store content again?!

Can you install other sims3packs (that is, sims3pack CC - such as lots here on MTS)?

Where did you get your Store content from? I know it sounds like a silly question, but bear with me. :p .

Yeah content from this site works, like lots and stuff, but official content from thesims3.com doesn't. I got these files from thesims3.com and backed them up on a flash drive, but now they don't work...

Do you get the "Success. Done" message but no Installed Icon? Normally a redownload and reinstall helps.

Try on a clean DCCache folder, the DCBackup folder can be cleared as well.
Move the current contents of the DCCache folder out to the Desktop, redownload and reinstall.
