I am new to installing MOD content to the Sims games and am finding it very difficult. I have the Sims 3, HELS and WA installed, which all ran normally before installing any MODs.

I installed Delphy 931933 Install Helper, Delphy 1040635 Monkey Bars and wrar393. I have made sure that Resource.cfg and Mods/Packages were placed in Sims 3, HELS and WA, along with d3dx9_31.dll in Game/Bin in all three places as well.

I used one other install from Mod the Sims to check my MODs and have removed the ones that were corrupt, etc.

I had a problem earlier where when I tried to enter CAS, it would just load forver, never opening CAS. This morning I reset my computer to an earlier day (Friday) and this seems to be resolved. [B]However, when I try to place my Sims on lots, either with other families or on blank lots in order to build them a house, I run into problems. When placing them with a family, my computer says PROCESSING forever and I end up pressing Control-Alt-Delete. When trying to place them on a blank lot, it will start to load and then it freezes up. My mouse arrow is still on the screen, but it does not appear to control anything.

PLEASE HELP ME!! I really enjoy the MODs that I have installed and need your assistance. Some MODs, such as the tattoos, breast slider, etc. show up in my game and work fine.

In addition, certain homes do not show up and I cannot locate any downloaded Sims. I ended up just deleting them all from the Mod/Package folder, since it wasn't that big of a deal, compared to my problem listed above.

Thank you to anyone who can help me - I REALLY appreciate it!!!

:) Hello,
Try running your game without your mods. Go to C drive, Electronic Arts, The Sims 3 folder, Mods folder. Right click on your mods folder, and select cut, then go to your desktop and then right click and select paste.
Then try to run your game. If it works OK, then it is (one or more) of your mods that is causing your problem.
 If that don't help.
Go to your My Docs folder, Electronic Arts. Find The Sims 3 folder.
Then Rename The Sims 3 folder to something like (The Sims 3 old) or anything you want. Or, right click on your The Sims 3 folder, and select cut, then go to your desktop, then right click on any blank space on your desktop and select paste. The game will automatically build you a New The Sims 3 folder.
Then play your game again. Don't worry you will still have all of your CC in your old The Sims 3 folder. Then play your game again. If it works fine after that, then you can reinstall your cc a little at a time to see which file is causing your problem. After you take your cc, saved sims, and saved games from your old Sims 3 folder, and put them into your New Sims 3 folder, you can delete the Old Sims 3 folder.

I did remove all of my MODs and the game seems to be fine. I am slowly going to add them back in one by one to see which one is the culprit.

Thank you for your advice!
