For some annoying reason the trunk of the Weeping Willow is not part of the texture I recolored in Object Workshop. Does anyone know how I can recolor it or must I recolor a user made Willow? The only user made Willow I could find was bigger than the original tree but I wanted what I made to be the same size as the original tree. Please help me with this issue.

It could be because it's repository and takes its textures from another Maxis object. One way to find out would be to clone it for reference as explained in IgnorantBliss' tutorial on the repository method, and then check the GNMD to see what mesh it refers to for the trunk part.
ETA:
Actually, I just had a look, and it's simply because the trunk part isn't recolorable.

That sucks. And doubly so since the larger version of the tree I found said it requires Uni which I simply do not have. The tree really looks jarring in my fantasy lot with its natural looking trunk but it is the only tree shape that works with the concept for that tree. Is there any way I could get around this problem?

I suppose you could clone it and make the tree trunk recolorable in the clone.
