I have sims 3, no expantions/stuff. Have the newest patch 1.11.7 (downloaded today) I have lots of custom content that I had been testing out on a worse computer(vista) with an older patch installed and was having trouble with some things there. Now that I have brought the mods to MY computer (windows 7 64bit) all of the .package files and the .sims3pack files that are for Create A Sim do not work. However, .sims3pack files that are objects seem to be working fine. Also, CAS items that were uploaded from the official Sims 3 store are usable. Im having trouble figuring out whats wrong. Ive looked all over the internet and have not heard of anyone having any CAS related problems due to the new patch or Windows 7... I have tried adding a Resources.cfg to the c:/Program files(x86)/Entertainment Arts/The Sims 3/ folder but that did not change anything. Id really love some help because I have spent sooo many hours downloading all this CC (mostly clothes, objects, skin tones, hair and 2 slider bar mods.. no hard core mods..)
