How do you do sidewalks?

I've never been able to get sidewalks working properly, Does anyone have any tips?

what do you mean by not working properly? Do you get route fail? Tip* Never put two strips beside each other as it confuses things.

Really, they work on exactly the same principles are roads, only you don't have to add intersections at the end of stray sidewalks.
