Sim can't cook lobster thermidor - no CC!

My sim can't cook lobster thermidor, although his skill is 10. He also can't cook santa cookies and holiday roast but I'm not sure if that's directly related (however, stuff packs they belong to work correctly, objects from them do show up in the game).

The problem is that when I click on refrigerator, no option to cook lobster thermidor appears. I click Make->Groups or Have Dinner or Serve Dinner, the option doesn't show up anywhere.

Please note that I removed everything I had in my downloads folder, and that didn't help. I removed absolutely everything, not only hacks and mods, but even hair and careers. So if it's not a conflict, then what is it and how do I fix it? :cry:

P.S. I just realized that it isn't only lobster thermidor. I forgot about other dishes. Other dishes that don't show up are baked alaska, cheesecake, and turkey.

My first thought is that you are using the ShinyTime Cooktop, which is just a stove (no oven), therefore your Sim can't create any meals requiring an oven.

ETA: You also need the Horn o' Plenty on the lot to make a holiday roast.

Thank you, I was indeed using that stove! After putting another one on the lot, my sim can cook lobster, roast, santa cookies, and alaska!

You saved me, I was going to make a clean reinstall of the game ;) And would've been none the wiser when after putting my neighborhood back the problem wouldn't disappear...
