View Full Version : Default Replacements: Not Working in Ambitions?

Since installing Ambitions I've only played new Sims in Twinbrook. I've added all of my custom content back except Hacks because I'm waiting for the larger ones to be updated. Everything else works fine (clothing, objects, hair...etc).

What I'm noticing, or rather, not noticing, are my default replacement faces, facial hair and various Genetic type replacements. My Resource.cfg file is set up to look 5 folders deep for Package files. After every play session I clear my Caches manually so, when I start playing I know I'm playing fresh.

I'm not sure what else to do to get them to work. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Are you using the legacy Framework placement or the new \mods\packages path under MyDocs?

See post#15 of the Ambitions Mod compatibility thread

New framework. And post #15 has to do with NON-Default Replacements so, it's not really related.

I posted that after reading post#76 in the same thread.
Did you even test it out?

From various people I asked for confirmation, the default skins work without any interventions on their part other than the usual clearing of caches.

There maybe something else going on with your config. I thought 4 deep was the maximum sub-foldering we could have. Are other cc in level 5 sub-folder showing up?
Otherwise, I'm outta ideas. Somebody else would have to chime in with suggestions.
