I noticed that when I went into "Edit Town" mode and viewed the lots in the "Show Empty Lots" tab, that a number of my houses (but not all) were only labeled as "Lot Name." I thought that perhaps something was corrupt with the lot files, so I deleted them and exited that game. When I opened the launcher to start again, I noticed that there were a slew of houses to download! I thought that this was good, that the files would download, fix whatever glitch was causing the problem, and would be labeled correctly. However, when I opened the game, the new lots still were labeled as "Lot Name."
Now, here's the unexpected thing. I figured I would see if the houses were ok. So, I placed a copy of one of these no name houses into the game, made a few changes, and saved. That's when I noticed that the newly placed lot assumed the street address of the lot it was placed on. I never noticed this trait before. I thought I had to manually keep track of the street name and change it myself.
So, I don't if the "lot name" issue has anything to do with the house acquiring the street address of where it was placed. Maybe someone can let me know if they have the noticed the same thing. Thanks! :report:
